I called this company and spoke with the owner Joe who was prompt in coming over to provide a quote for a large tree cut down. When asked about starting the job he scheduled me 2 days later and his crew showed up right on time. They were very careful in taking down the tree as I have a pool and they kept all branches away from it. I have a very old and tall maple tree that has seen better days. A lot of large branches were breaking and falling in my backyard, or my neighbour's almost daily, and suddenly backyard bonfires and barbeques were no longer enjoyable. The team at Stumps R Us were incredible. They were able to fit me in a week early because of a cancellation, arrived exactly when they said they would, took down what needed to be (the whole tree really needs to be brought down, but I'm going to wait on that right now) The crew cleaned everything up after they were done, and even stacked pieces of the wood I asked for for my bonfires. Awesome work gentleman! Feel safe again. I'm so happy, thank you so so much ????

Joe came and inspected site on Friday and we planned for the work to be done a week later. Got a txt Tuesday saying guys could come out. Cutters came first, then about an hour later the clean up crew. Did a great job trimming a diseased tree and a good trim on our full tree in the front. Cleanup was quick and the guys left nothing behind. Very satisfied and will call again for future trimming and pruning needs.

We had a tree leaning on our fence that needed to come down. It was in an awkward spot so we definitely needed a professional to come in and take it out. Joe came for an assessment, and had his crew out to the house within a few business days. He also cleared out some stumps in our front garden. We are absolutely thrilled at the fabulous job Joe and his staff did this past week. Two locations, two big trees, two stumps - all done in a few hours. The first team of arborists came in well equipped and prepared to deal with a difficult tree. They took time and patience to plan for safety (always #1!), and communicated very well with us and each other as they went through each step. This was a tree located near a sidewalk and that had be taken down branch by branch! The second team came in shortly after to do clean-up including managing the wood chipping, raking up debris. They took the time to look through some hedging for stray branches etc.. Third step was the removal of two tree stumps - again, very well done in about thirty minutes ! So impressed - you wouldn't know even there was a tree in either location. We also had a trim back of a wild tree that had become entangled with another. We were worried it would eventually harm the main tree. Another well thought out and executed job done. Joe's teams are polite, hard working, attention to detail, work very well together and kept us informed of what they were doing. We were also very impressed when Joe showed up to see how things were going and kept us informed numerous times to ensure we were satisfied with the work being done. Joe provided written estimates, final invoices and all done through e-transfer in short order! Highly recommend Stumps'R'Us anytime!

Great tree cutting service. I checked out several places and got quotes in the London area for a 30 year old Norway Maple to be removed. Stumps R Us came out to be the best price, quickest and most responsive. They showed up a few days after I made the arrangements and had the tree in a pile on mulch on my driveway in a few hours. Three different crews came through: cut, then mulch then stump grind. Crazy efficient, like a tree removal assembly line. I would honestly just not even bother with any other places if you are looking for a tree removed and stump ground down, I did the calling around, these guys are the way to go.

This company came highly recommended, unfortunately we had an awful experience. Joe was quick to come out and give us a quote but the job took almost a month to complete. We were told that workers would show up and then no one came on many occasions. Then there was an issue with hydro which also delayed the job. Once the job was complete our yard was left in a mess with wood chips and dirt everywhere. I emailed and asked if they were coming back to clean this up because it said complete clean up on our invoice and I was told “ when we say “complete clean up” we mean all the branches and wood. the wood chips are not included ,:..we never ever take away because if we did take everyone’s wood chips we would will be there forever ....but we do add that to the bill which is 20% more (Cleanup of the wood chips put new topsoil down and add grass seed )”. We were not offered this or told about the extra 20% to clean up everything. We are now left with cleaning up the wood chips on our own.

Done in 3 stages...first a crew cut the tree down quickly and efficiently, then a 2nd crew came a few minutes later and mulched it in the chipper, then the owner comes to obliterate the stump. All done with professionalism and very quickly. Very responsive, communicated by text message which was nice, and even gave the quote by text message based on pictures. Cost was almost half of the other quote I got. Highly recommended.

We hired Stumps R Us after a large portion of a mature locust tree came down in our backyard after a storm. From the first contact with Joe, he was extremely friendly, professional and stopped by right away to assess the work that needed to be done. The quote was sent quickly and was much better pricing than what we had received from larger tree companies. After accepting the quote, Joe helped us complete the City of London tree removal permit application and followed up to make sure it was done. He promptly scheduled a date for the removal. His crew arrived on time and safely removed the tree. We were extremely impressed at how quickly this was done for such a large tree using a bucket truck and two arborists. The ground crew then showed up to cut up the limbs and put them through the chipper. Everyone was extremely polite, hardworking and considerate. They did a meticulous job cleaning up our yard. A couple days later a different crew returned and ground the stump and removed the wood. We asked for some wood to be left for use in our fireplace and Stumps R Us cut it to the requested length and neatly stacked it. We had numerous neighbours comment on how hard the guys worked and what a good job they did cleaning up. All in all, it was top notch service at a very competitive price. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends and have already done so multiple times. We were disappointed to lose such a nice large tree, but the removal process could not have been smoother!

A tree fell down in my backyard, damaging a few trees around it. My backyard was an absolute mess. As Joe put it, it was "incredible". I spoke with Joe on Saturday, he came to take a look on Sunday and give me a quote. By Monday afternoon, my backyard was cleaned up. They left me some fantastic firewood, and stumps that I will clean up and stain. Joe was very nice and professional. He gave me a very reasonable quote, and was very honest during the entire process. I appreciate the prompt service, the professionalism and honesty. I would definitely recommend them. As a bonus, they have a really cool business card. It's made out of wood. I love that.
