We hired Doug Carlaw to do our inspection. He spent a fair amount of time looking things over, but missed SO MANY easy-to-find issues!! The only issue that he did claim to find was that the sump pump wasn't working, but it actually had no problems when investigated. Here is a list of issues that I found myself after the inspection: -Multiple broken casement window operators -Degraded aluminum flashing around garage -Seized window blinds -Poorly installed doors in the newly finished basement, some of which don't even close! -Basement washroom plumbing on exterior wall -Poorly graded and leaky shower basin in basement washroom. None of these problems are hard to find. We definitely expected more!

Terrible! Had an appointment arranged 3 days in advance. An hour and a half after the scheduled appointment and he is still no show. Many calls and emails sent and no responses. Definitely not recommended!!
