I grew up in St. Thomas and remember when the station was abandoned and derelict. I am so delighted that they have refurbished the station to its former glory. People used to travel from the US and far away parts of Canada to St. Thomas in order to take a connecting train to Port Stanley where the Stork Club was. Google Port Stanley's Stork Club and you'll find out why. Great space for weddings, banquets or meetings. Tyler Roberts, their event manager, I think, has an excellent team. You won't be disappointed.

Beautifully restored train station from the early days of St Thomas. They modernized the building without changing the actual look and feel of the structure. Both local MP & MPP have decide to make this there office's here in elgin county. Definitely worth the drive to check it out.

A cute little venue with mutiple events going on throughout the years. The only issue I would have would be where to enter which is found near the giant tigers on talbot st. Either then that it is a quaint little location with lots to offer to both the community today and the history of yesterday. The thing that makes this location really cool is the value in local heritage and the real pull towards significance of the great canadian railway and the railway capital of Canada. A must see historic site.

A great historical spot in St. Thomas. It is really interesting to see the history of this old rail city. The inside of the building is just as great as the outside. I have been to weddings and other events inside the station and it was a wonderful space for such events.

It was the hub of railway activity for south west Ontario during the coal era. My family's history is in this building. Both my father and grandfather worked here. Nice to see the conservation efforts are in place to restore it to it's past glory and preserve it's history. Our father has a memorial plaque on one of the office windows upstairs.

The CASO Station is a designated historic building that is really two facilities in one. It's a local treasure; a landmark from St. Thomas past, extensively renovated and renewed, serving a valuable role in preserving St. Thomas' Railway City heritage. The CASO Station's main level is a multi-event space hosting meetings, weddings and special events while the 2nd floor is occupied by a variety of office tenants. The North America Railway Hall of Fame is based here, and the large Elgin County Railway Museum is close by.

Very good restoration of the main hall. Visited when art exhibit was on. Considerable vibration of wood floor at east end where presumably furnace is located in basement.

I was here to photograph a wedding. Really neat spot with great character and feel to have a wedding. The room looks so nice when decorated and the building and grounds offer indoor and outdoor locations for photos. The building is set back from the road so you feel seperate from the hustle and bustle of the town. A great choice if you are looking for a venue
