At the end of each work day they cleaned up and were extremely tidy. We love the design he came up with. Just added that little bit of class to the project. In 2020, we had our yard landscaped with a concrete tile patio for our hot tub, a retaining wall and rock flower bed. Canadian Vintage Landscapes' work was phenomenal, but extremely challenging due to the sinking clay in our yard. Due to the weight of our hot tub that portion of the patio sunk a half inch, causing some very minor damage. Darren had told me he guaranteed their work, but I was sceptical when calling him a year later about the issue. He was excellent to deal with once again and came back to fix it no questions asked without charge. The professionalism we experienced last year was replicated again despite the fact that they weren't being paid as it was a warranty job. We are extremely happy with this company and would highly recommend them. They are great at what they do, but what is even more important is that they are honest and trustworthy. Darren and his crew were fantastic to deal with. We originally connected as they were doing work at a neighbors house and we were impressed with the work ethic, cleanliness, etc. Our experience was no different. Every day the crew were on site at exactly 8AM and stayed until the job was done (taking advantage of good weather). The job site was left organized, swept and tidy when done which was appreciated by us and our neighbors. The crew was polite, engaged, and definitely were working to impress their client. The quality of work for the price paid was excellent and they added a couple touches along the way to make it even better. Darren and his crew completely remade our problematic backyard -- taking out large spruce trees and cracked concrete retaining walls to create a three-tiered amphitheatre of boulders and shrubs, and an engineered retaining wall along a public walkway. This was a challenging two-month process in several stages, orchestrated skilfully by Darren, including a water system and lighting. The result is spectacular.
