I love the PG Library! The upstairs atmosphere is tranquil and the selection is impressive. The free underground parking is a nice bonus as well. Occasionally there are some awesome activities there too.

Great selection. We used to live in Surrey and we were worried the selection would be minimal here. I have never seen such a huge amount of manga and lots of graphic novels. Fantastic!

You can spend best of your spare time here. Nice and organized. Thousands of titles which you can search online. You can request a book if they don't have in system. Computer labs, game area, child books and quiet chess games going too often. Easy to register. Can reissue twice. Online notification for due date.

Fantastic place for anyone in and around the Prince George area interested in reading, learning and sharing the love of books with their children. I just recently got to experience a guided tour of the downtown library (they also have another location up in the Hart) and was thoroughly surprised to discover just how many resources I was unaware that the library has at it's disposal. I'd especially recommend that the next time you're online to take a closer look at their online website. Lots of unique lil perks for those with the wherewithal to search. Their children's area on the first floor is amazing. Tonnes of events. And lastly the people who work here are great. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and more than willing to help you find whatever it is you're looking for. Definitely go and visit in person, or online. Either way, you'll not regret it :)

Massive selection (even video games!), two-levels, public computers, excellent activity programming for children (as well as other events and offerings throughout the year). Friendly staff. Underground parking with stairs and elevator accessibility.

upstairs part is really nice to do schoolwork and quietly study..only problem is the people shooting up heroine in the bathroom but other than that nice place :)

Fairly quiet. A decent place to study. However, there are some evenings when the kids will play Minecraft really loudly and it can be a bit disturbing. Security is usually pretty good at keeping them at a Quieter level.

Nice, quiet, cozy library. They've been renovating and it's looking very nice and more modern. The librarians are all nice & helpful and they have the typical, wide selection one expects in a public library.

The library has a new look. And it is calm and nice. Underground park is easy to access. They now have a beautiful spacious elevator. The staffs are very attentive and focused. Come and enjoy the knowledges you might find interesting. ????

The employees are so genuine, comforting and guiding. It's really a hidden gem of Prince George and I hope more families visit it more often. If you need a quiet space to study that has available computers this is the place! If you wanna read about a yoga retreat in Bali, this is the place! The Prince George public library is amazing and I wish I worked there!
