This Architect is classified in the category of Domestic airport.
Terminal is fine, quite a bit of construction that is taking a while. Restaurant is good but not always open, plenty of washrooms.
Fine airport for its size. Clean area with friendly staff to help you out.
NO PUBLIC TRANSPORT AT AIRPORT- NO SHATTLE BUSES, NO CITY BUSES,NO UBER. FEELS LIKE 3D COUNTRY... THE TAXI COMPANY NOT PROVIDED OPRIONS FOR PASENGER WITH CHIRDREN-NO ONE TAXI CARS WITH BABYSEATS. ABSOLUTLELY NO PLESANT EXPERIENCE
Sweet as, neat little spot. Cool design
Missed my flight and the air Canada ladies and security staff were the best attendants I have ever dealt with. Friendly all around
Small 2 gate Airport. Phone for cab. Food is closed currently with covid.
Small Airport with minimal facilities. Don't expect too much if you are coming from Vancouver or Victoria. One of everything is available here. One carousel for baggage claim and one car rental open due to Covid-19. The airport outer area is very dark after 5 pm so please careful and mindful of the season here in PG as well.
Nice small airport with friendly staff. Not much to do though during flight delays!
Pilot areas are well appointed and welcoming
Cleaned and Beautiful ????
Nice and friendly airport
Nice and clean always
Small airport, but well kept and well laid out.
A vending machine selling chips and chocolate as the only food source? What a joke.
Small but efficient.
Very nice security and gate agents
Nice one
Small and convenient airport
Food was good, a bit pricey, went to buy a bag of chips 10grams, $2.65 that was insane bring your own munchies if you are spending some time waiting,
A solid small city airport. No issues with this airport at all! Have only had good experiences!
Held at airport for 5 hours, waiting to see if we could try again to land in FSJ. Air Canada staff were excellent! Security staff were excellent.
Sometimes the suitcases come out a bit too piled together making it difficult to socially distance while picking your luggage up.
Free WiFi. Very new building. Car rental on-site. One restaurant outside of the security area. Pretty fast security.
Compared to similarly sized cities, this airport is much faster to get through. Lines for check in and security can usually be completed within 20 minutes or less!
With the massive and expensive upgrade all they can offer people waiting in the arrivals area are these awful, uncomfortable and painful to sit on benches that belong in a school gym.
Lovely place good service not busy laid kinda airport
Sent my entire flights luggage to Vancouver instead of Calgary... what a mess. Merry Christmas.
I ordered a beer and water.a cup of water.. Didn't want a bottle of water because it's against everything I stand for but my debt went through before I noticed. The girl was rude and told me she couldn't refund my money for the water I didn't want..this place sucks! !
Scary flight in ✈️ coming in during rain ???? & clouds, navigating through it. Amazing airlines, airport we made a safe journey thanks WestJet
Nice airport, simple, quick to get through.
Well laid out and quick and easy security clearance.
Nice, little airport. Friendly staff. Only negative was the long wait for taxi, but that's not the airports issue
Decent airport. Had a stopover, security was fast and friendly.
So small and dull
Airports in BC seem to never seize to amaze. I definitely recommend this airport.
The Central Mountain Air staff were great. They really assisted us well.
Minimal services, and tiny security checkpoint with staff more interested in talking than working.
It's a small Airport with a few spots to rest and wait for your flight. The staff at the airport were always ready to assist you and there is a restaurant with a bar to cater to your drinking needs with good food.
Generally clean airport, abundant long term parking. However have seen issues with the automatic gate for parking multiple times, the gate even came down on my hood once. Also most of the in airport power plug ins for use seem to be broken.
It's a good airport. Had a few issues over the years. Flying doesn't always go perfect but I've had good experience with PG airport. Always clean inside.
Very kind staff and they are on point with all directions and protocols. The airport is also a good place to get something to eat before take off, there is usually cabs there waiting. The place is clean.
Well, clean and comfortable inside. This location is perfect.
Very slow, not very friendly
Small but easy to catch a flight. The waiting room is too full of windows . It's hard to find a spot without the sun blazing down.
clean, good service. fast.
Nice airport, looks like they are making some upgrades. Departure lounge was crowded, and the seating options lacking. The circle sitting couches, while a nice idea in theory, take up too much room for the number of travellers sitting on them. Row seating is more comfortable IMO and takes up less space. There were no options for food when I was there either, due to the reno as well. Finally, the bathroom was too small for the number of travellers- needs more stalls.
They are doing the best they can during these weird times.
Airport is ok but 1 of the west jet employees should learn about temperature guns.
Small airport with friendly staff and short wait times.
Easy and reasonable priced parking. Bright clean place. Can get in and out fast.
They insist you wear a mask inside, but do not provide them. Unless you count the vending machine selling masks for 10 bucks! And, only if "tap" is enabled on your card. If not, you are walkin, people. And, i found the staff rude and dismissive. 2 stars is generous i think.
A surprisingly modern building, a large parking lot, nice sitting area (for people leaving), the restaurant has some pretty good food. My only problem is that for the people arriving they have these gym-like benches to sit on, and its not comfortable. Very nice airport though
Small, efficient, large parking lot. ...and quite fast free internet wi-fi network.
Flying to Peru for a longer trip, I packed an extra luggage for $220 flat charge and up to 32kg. The lady at the check-in tried to convince us that 32kg is 50 lbs, and is overweight (the scale was in lbs). I think that airport attendants need a better math training or/and learn about international flights, procedures and fee's. She wanted to charge us an extra $100, or drop 20 lbs. and that she didn't have time to argue, or we have to step aside, and pointed for a place we can do the thinking. The only one arguing was her. We just informed her that 32kg will always be 70 lbs. and asked to talk to someone else as we really didn't have time to discuss this with her as she was getting irritated, and we had to make it to our flight. A nice lady approached and cleared the mystery of the weight and the extra luggage. All went fine after that. Is enough with the traveling stress, that travelers have to go through, and it would be a real treat if the attendants at the airport's, would adopt a friendlier approach.
Always love flying through this airport. Very convenient and easy to travel through.
Adequate parking, helpful staff.
Holding area is open, nice view of tarmack, good seating, good cantina, plug ins, clean.
Easy to Navigate
Very clean, small airport with just enough comforts. Very similar to Charlottetown and Hamilton's airports.
The food service at this aiprot supplied through Compass Group is pitiful. High prices with low quality food. Once i was here at 6:45pm and the cafeteria was closed because it closes at 6:30pm. With an hour delayed flight we were basically left with no options for food. To top it off, none of the vending maxhines take credits cards. This airport cannot be highly rated without food options for the patrons and the Compass Group food barely counts as an option.
Airport was nest clean straightforward and easy to use. Had no problems finding where to go and didn't feel like a sardine in a tin can
Safe procedures, friendly staff
Though showing its age, this little airport provides a pleasant travel experience.
Arrive at the god awful hour of 4:40am for a 5:10 boarding. The woman running the xray clearly has no idea what she is doing and became quite concerned about my carry on. My luggage was then riffled through by some guy named Vic because apparently a bar of soap was cause for alarm. After completely messing up my meticulous packing job, Vic then began a half assed effort at repacking it which would have resulted in not even being able to zip the suitcase back up. I said "come on, Vic you know it was packed better than that". His response was to say to me "Have fun" and walked away leaving me to repack my entire suitcase. My girlfriend was singled out for a 'random' patdown by the female security guard who is clearly a sick pervert. Her eyes were on my girlfriend from the moment we entered the security area. It was a blatant grope down by a sick woman who uses her so-called authority to get her jollies. An absolutely sickening experience from top to bottom. As if Prince George doesn't suck enough, but now you can't even leave without harrassment and violation.
This is an airport that doesn’t actually allow any flights to come or go. I don’t even know if they can really call themselves an airport? If you plan to travel out of this airport expect at least a delay of 2 days. If you ask for information you won’t be provided with anything. On top of that you will foot the bill for your entire delay as the airline staff assure you it’s not there fault so they won’t be compensating a thing. Merry Christmas!
Very small. Nice people. Restaurant a little pricy.
Great terminal building. Excellent seating and views of the runway.
This airport is trash. The airlines never have anyone working up front, the x-Ray machine in security is always broken, the TSA guards are incompetent, they have only one ground crew loading bags on planes and this is all during the Xmas holiday season. Get some more staff in here and get your act together. -4 Stars
The airport building is nice and new, but the parking lot is among the worst. There is no ramp for carts down to the parking lot and the side walks are in very poor condition. In the Winter the snow removal is below expectations. Similar sized airports in Kamloops and Kelowna and smaller ones such as Cranbrook are much better in this regard. This is an airport that would benefit a lot if it had a parkade. The carts still require a dollar as I suppose the airport staff don't want to collect them. This is in contrast to Vancouver, Victoria, Kamloops and Kelowna where cart collection from outside the building is a courtesy provided to travellers.
Nice place to fly out of but make sure you don't miss your flight!!;-)
Snack bar was open
Quiet and clean airport with lot of flight service even during corona times
Just a breeze!
It was my first time at this airport, and I told the Mountain Air rep that. I arrived three hours early for a flight to Vancouver that I absolutely could not miss. The instructions from the Mountain Air rep were unclear, I couldn't make out what was being said over the loudspeaker, and I nearly missed my flight. Then security was condescending when I rushed in last minute. I was the last one on the plane.
No computers for luggage. Nice to be served by a human being. Air Canada staff was especially helpful. The waiting area has been renovated and more comfy. It could use more power outlets for the electronic gadgets. The free wifi is greatly appreciated.
Horrible TSA. Small local airport and act like they are a big international Airport. Stuck up agents.
Not impressed with the way air canada employees handled the lateness of our plane to arrive and leave prince George....no information passed on from them to their customers that were waiting. And then due to it being late in pg, we arrived late to our connecting flight in Vancouver and had to spend 7 hours here without any compensation...
Closed at 1:00 am and opens at 4:00 am so be prepared to stand out side during the winter with no benches to even sit on.
Flights delayed and no one around at all to say what's going on. Flight get's cancelled then we were told no compensation for this as it was due to weather. Figured ok I'll just sleep here, rude security guard say's we can't stay over night and to find a hotel. You literally left us stranded and it's freezing and you're kicking people out... What if someone had no money? This is a disgrace.
Excellent service and very clean airport with plenty of parking and friendly staff.
Convenient long term parking
Left my phone on the plane. They had it for me before I even knew I'd lost it. Wonderful people
It gets me out of Prince George
I like the smaller airports generally dont have miles to walk
As usual the air canada staff is the most unhelpful in the world if you don’t arrive 1 hour early for a domestic flight they will put you on the 5:00 am flight next morning. I know they are rated lower than west jet already by consumers but there is no way you can get rid of them. It’s a real shame for Canada, way to go !
This airport is ok however from my limited experience it falls short in respect to food and beverages. They were not open at all for customers to sit and relax and enjoy some food etc while waiting for their flights etc. Wifi rocks! Customer service at this airport is great! They do their best under pressure and circumstances out of their control like cancelled flights or weather etc. Room for improvement on amenities though
Sunday everything is closed. Only vending machines. Only 1 car rental agency is left at the airport. National
Has all the things you need in an airport. But don't have the big crowds. I've never had bad service here and friends and family from outta town have always had good comments about this airport. Miss the helicopter flying game that was there when I was a kid.
Fix your de-icing truck...
Small but clean airport. Was nice to fly out of
Nice friendly small airport, great sitting area.
Awful experience every time I go there.
Airport was nice and it's easy to navigate but security was very rude
Nice airport.
Plain simple but fast efficient and comfortable not many stores tho
Small clean airport. There is a car rental agency. The restaurant is is closed. Air Canada, Westjet and Pacific Coastal fly here.
Nice little airport. Easy to drop off and pick up. Friendly and efficient airport security staff.
Drop off area is pathetic. Too many flights scheduled close together causes flight delays causing travellers to miss connecting flights
Small airport. Very easy to navigate and to get to your gate
I have enjoyed seeing h ow this airport has grown in beauty and function over the last 25 years that I have used it... And it continues to get better. Good job YXS!!!
