Have fun getting into any classes if you want to take business. Most core business classes, especially the pre recs, have waitlists of 25-50 people. They accept too many international students because their tuition is 4x a Canadian student's. Not only does this f over the international students who need at least 4 classes a semester to keep their visa, it makes us canadian students feel like they don't care about our education at all. CNC is a business, but it is a business whose main focus is producing an educated workforce. Most of their funding comes from government grants, and I doubt the gov is handing out this money so Canadians who want an education can get screwed. No other aspect of the college matters if you can't get into any classes.

1) Hell slow processing in giving offer letter They will take almost 1.5 months to mail you and they will say that you are not eligible for the offer letter. I won't recommend this college to anyone. -Seriously Pathetic.

They are a gang of liars, specifically to cheat international students money. They collided with the local host family to check the student deposit and rent.When you pay the rent, the host family will not tell the school, and will not give you a receipt. This is ridiculous.

CNC is a wonderful college. They have excellent trades programs, that range from culinary arts, to many red seal trades. They also have an excellent dental hygienist program, and the only ultrasound technician program in the North. They also have a university transfer program. With classes capped at 37 students, instructors have more time to help students. Great school.

Heard some vague comments about this college from Canadian school friends, perhaps because they were not familiar enough with this college. After I visited the city of Lethbridge, I began to understand why it is not so easy for a community college in an non-touristy area to impress people who have never been there.

I loved this school until I met the counselors, I was having a lot of troubles with a girl in my class and made an appointment with a counselor and she told me flat out that I attract bullies and that it was my problem. The only reason why I give them one star is because the teachers were awesome and I loved my program but the people that are suppose to be there to guide you in the right direction and give you the proper tools to do so, are AWFUL!!!

Beware this college has an degree verification fee of 112$ the highest in the world. That means everytime an employer calls to verify your diploma they request this fee which mostly discourages them from proceeding. this affects your selection process compared to candidates from other colleges

You only get one week to save up the deposit for your course, the councillors do not help you, they take forever to respond to messages and they do not care nor give out any helpful information, they tell you that they will help and it's all a big lie, the point of CNC is to set younger people up for massive failure, if you have any choice DO NOT SPEND MONEY ON THIS SCHOOL. I would give 0 stars if it were an option

Went here in mid may. Caffeteria was closed due to "summer" hours even tho there was well over 100 students attending. Then a couple weeks in the teacher told us there was a 1 million dollar surplus. The gym also goes on summer hours and closes at 4. It was a joke for students that dont have there schooling paid for. No food no gym. i even tried to talk to the president. Even tho he was availible he got his secretarys secretary to say he wasnt.

I was shocked that one of the instructors pushed 'Intelligent Design' garbage in my Career Preparation Chemistry class. Nice enough guy, but hinting at religion during science lectures really turned me away from CNC as a school of higher learning. I think it's important to give an honest review of this school for others to see. I also don't think that religious philosophy should be introduced in the sphere of scientific inquiry and scientific method. Having a Chemistry (Not Biology) teacher say that "Evolution is just a theory," is right up there with "Gravity is just a theory." Shame on you, CNC. At that point, you might as well say that "The invisible sky monster created everything, let's just burn this science text book." By the way, there is no scientifically accepted alternative to evolution. Reality deniers, enjoy!
