Our experience with Wooden Shoes Landscaping could not have been more positive. Richard first solved our drainage issues in the backyard and at the same time designed and built a beautiful waterfall feature as part of the redesigned backyard landscape. Practicality and beauty were combined perfectly to transform the backyard into an oasis. Richard's next project for us was the complete overhaul of the front yard. He removed all the grass, designed and built a multi-level landscape including multiple plantings in 8 separate areas and constructed extensive multi-level stone walkways and a front yard patio. Richard's expertise, attention to detail, exemplary work ethic and pride of workmanship (with the extremely capable assistance of his wife Lindy) are beyond compare. His designs are exceptionally creative and yet he is so collaborative and accommodating. His design and execution thereof have garnered the admiration of neighbours and strangers alike and our deepest appreciation.

Excellent experience with Wooden Shoes Landscaping. We had a pretty large project with the front porch, driveway, side of house walkway, and backyard. Richard and Lindy were great to deal with and delivered everything as promised and more. They actually finished slightly ahead of their scheduled completion date. Richard worked with us on minor changes to the design as things progressed. No surprises on cost and no hidden extras. Richard even met us at the landscape supplier a couple of times to help us pick out materials. Quality workmanship very evident as some neighbours commented on the care taken on our project as compared to other projects going on nearby. They were considerate and came back to fix our sod AFTER the irrigation system was put in. They were also mindful that we have a dog and cleaned up every night. We highly recommend Wooden Shoes.
