Really nice park and docks. The docks have lots of free space if you're coming in off the lake. The parks are clean and well maintained. There are several picnic benches and a good mix of sun and shade. The cycling/walking path that runs through here is popular and there are always several cute dogs (keep your eye out for the gorgeous Samoyed that is always being walked up and down the docks). There are a few options for food and ice cream nearby.

We have been visiting the Port of Orillia by boat for many years and remains a destination at least once every season. Conveniently situated at the foot of downtown Orillia, it's an easy walk in to town to do some shopping or hit any one of the numerous restaurants, located just steps away. There is also a LCBO store very close by. After a fire that destroyed the office and boaters' washrooms awhile back, returning visitors are looking forward to the replacement building that is slated to reopen for the 2017 boating season.

Excellent dockage, excellent private washrooms with great showers, new professional front loading washers, and a dish washing sink. Staff was friendly and helpful, met us at the slip for tie-up ( slips assigned via phone or radio) and gave plenty of info and direction for the town. We scored the 3 nights for the price of 2 special, as well as free laundry, and saw an otter on the dock, a great stay!

Clean Area/Playground - The Playground and surrounding areas are clean. Washrooms are a little dated. Parking gets busy on weekends and there is a lot of boat traffic in the summer. Fishing - Lots of Panfish and Minnows. Good for kids to catch a few Pumpkinseed, Sunfish and Perch. Make sure you are fishing at the newly constructed pier as this is one of the few places you are allowed to fish from shore. Fishing is not allowed in some areas near the boardwalk and boat slips.

We love heading to Orillia by boat from lagoon city when we have guests. A cruise on lake Simcoe up through the narrows and across Couch to the port of Orillia gives them a taste of the boating experience. Docks and facilities are modern and clean. Most weekdays there is ample space to stop in to shop at the many stores or have a bite at one of the many restaurants close by. The is also a Metro grocery store and a LCBO if you need to stock up. Watch out on busy weekends though. The slips are often booked by boats staying overnight or multiple nights and although there appear to be vacancies mid day the staff at the office haven’t figured out how to accommodate a short stay visitor for a few hours over lunch. They simply turn you away. Quite disappointing considering we just cruised almost an hour to get there. Considering check out is 11AM and check in is 4PM they should be able to permit short 2 or 3 hour stays to allow cottages arriving by boat to take advantage of what Orillia offers. Hope they can figure something out next year. The system they came up with this year turns many boaters away. Sad.

The building has recently been rebuilt after a fire and the new building is much more trendy and modern now. The visitor centre has a few drink machines and an ice machine outside and a ATM inside. Most of the wood on the dock and walkway has been replaced but be careful on sections that haven't been changed out yet. I like to walk my dog here, we usually go every day. It also has a lot of Pokéstops and a few gyms for Pokémon Go players.

Beautiful city and marina to walk and relax. We had lunch at Studebaker and the staff and food were great. Only 1 comment..the visitor's parking close to the restaurant was a no no. You have to pay 50$ no matter at what time you arrived (7 a.m to 7 p.m same rate).???????? NO option to pay for 1/2 day if you arrived like us at 1 p.m you are done...even if you are willing to pay for the time that you really are using the parking. ????

First time coming here on the Pontoon. We docked with goals of going to Mariposa Market, we also hit up Cool Cones for a soft serve. Parking the boat was $10 here for the day, and there is a lock and code to the boats so there is some security when leaving your boat behind. There is a restroom and it was clean. No complaints to note, all good vibes. Clean, friendly staff.

Great location for boaters visiting the area. Excellent staff and fabulous shower and washroom facilities. Staff goes out of their way to accommodate transients. Shopping is just a five minute away for groceries, restaurants and shoppping. Wilkins is a must stop for Chelsea buns when fresh and the buffet at the Golden Wok has a great varied selection.

We've been coming here for over fifty years, but this year (in the midst of Covid-19), we are no longer welcome, since we don't live in Orillia. From Thursday to Sunday, there is a $50 (!) parking fee for non residents, and an additional $50 fee (!) to launch your boat if you don't have a resident permit. Shopped and dined in this town more times than I can count, but no more. Can't imagine the town's retailers and restaurants are happy with this situation, but the elected tyrants are presumably pleased with themselves. Maybe we'll come back when the Covid scare is over. Maybe.

This is an amazing facility for boaters and fishermen. The boat ramp is double wide and lots of room to maneuver a larger trailer to launch. Parking is ample, but gets full very quickly on weekends or during events. The boardwalk/trail is a nice walk if you are visiting the city. The view of Lake Couchiching is good from the pier. There is also a fishing pier which is best during the spring.

I love the Port. It's popular boardwalk, parks, playground, skate park, beach, boat launch, and dockage, make it a busy place. It's so close to Orillia's downtown, you walk. Family safe.

Came in by boat, water is all weeds, mud, like boating in lava. Some port of orillia staff were quite friendly, but for the most part, had no time for visitors. Had to be walked to the interac machine, as if the $10 docking fee was a massive amount. Barely had time to put my shirt and shoes on, as they barked orders. Quick stop for provisions, so happy it was a short stay.

Very nice view and good to have a walk. But the nearest Parking is for residents parking only, must check the signage before parking. Easy to a get a fine of $100 if you are not residents and don't have a valid permit. Not worth to take a chance.

Just a lovely spot to sit and relax or go for a walk along the waterfront boardwalk. There is a well equipped playground for kids. Benches and picnic tables are located all along the park. Lots of parking. Oh yeah you can dock your boat here too. Washrooms on site.

Very cute and quaint little town. The downtown core and beach area makes for a nice walk. They have some indy stores and an amazing bakery/eatery and gift shop called Mariposa. A great little community for a city getaway feel.

Close walking distance to liquor store, grocery store and downtown restaurants and shopping. Fuel, service and repairs, and pump-out available nearby. One of the best cruising stops on the TSW.
