I worked with KBK on the home addition project. The start of this project was fast and timely. All documents presented as required and Building permit received with no issues. During construction period, I had some issues with the beam and brick support. I have contacted KBK team, and they helped to revise the drawings and offered a suitable replacement option. Communication over the phone or email was easy with fast turnaround time. Overall, working with KBK team was a good experience.

Without a doubt, a 5-star experience working with KBK Architects Team. The principle Architect "Kyle" is experienced, knowledgeable and most importantly down to earth. Their pricing was more competitive than another company that quoted for my house addition. Pricing wasn’t the only factor in hiring KBK Architect, their customer service, pleasant approach, positive online reviews, and being able to talk to the Architect "Kyle" to ask technical questions before signing the contract made a huge difference. They conducted a preliminary research to make sure I'm able to build my addition, they explained the process and gave me a clear idea on what to expect, time lines...etc. The responsiveness of the entire KBK Architects team was appreciated as they handled the coordination with my surveyor, Permit submission, dealing with examiners, they kept me up-to-date with the progress and made sure the permit is issued without any delays. But by far, the biggest shout out goes to Rahel, Andrea, Jake, P. Eng Grace and Kyle for all their excellent customer service right from the first phone call, site measurements, design stage, permit submission and their constant support during the construction following the issuance of the building permit. Overall, a great experience and an outstanding customer service. I definitely recommend working with KBK Architects for your next project.

We hired KBK Architects to create a new residential subdivision on our lot and had them take over the process from beginning to start of construction. Architect Kyle was very proactive and was always available to take calls and answer questions, he always took the time to reply to our emails in a detailed manner. KBK Architects prepared the schematics, applied for severance and Minor Variances, and we got what we were hoping for after negotiations with the Planning Department, we then received approvals on Site Plan Control and now we got the building permits. It was a lengthy and challenging process, but overall the results were excellent. Cost: compared to other firms, KBK architects were very competitive, and I am happy that there were no additional hidden charges. The fees that were explained at the beginning and in the contract were accurate. Overall, the staff are very knowledgeable, and have an attitude of wanting to help, I am happy with the service, and will be hiring KBK Architects for our future investment projects.

I am very grateful to have such a talented team help me go through permits during the pandemic. Kyle and his team are very responsive and experienced in dealing with the city and knowing what is required when he assesses your property. He preemptively goes through different scenarios of what is possible with your place and what isn’t. There was an issue with one of my doors, that could have costed me a lot more, but he and his team found a solution to it. When there was a miscalculation on their part, they not only paid for the new permit fees but also let me completely change to new layout that would have otherwise costed me an extra fee. Although my basement is only 600sq ft, I felt I had full service and was never brushed off despite knowing he has way bigger projects than mine. Very happy to recommend them to my friends and would love to work with them again if I ever need renovations.

Very bad Experience. **Stay away to save money and threatening calls and emails**. I will not recommend at all. I paid close to $9000.00 for custom house design of 4000-6000 sq ft. We selected Bronze package. They delayed the things so much that I have to end up closing the project and costed me thousands and then they started asking for some pending invoices and Reema started threatening us to take us to the court for some $600 pending invoice which was not even valid. They started sending emails to put lean on the property for $600 INVALID Invoice. They passed our file to collection agency and collection agency started calling and asking for $2000 of some kind of invoice. It seems like they are not architect but some sort of bullying or collection agency. I have been living in Canada for last 30 years and never met people like this.
