Right now this business receives a rating of 4.3 over 5 and the rating was based on 127 reviews.
You may have noticed that it reaches an reviews average is good, and it's founded on a large number of opinions, so we can think that the valuation is quite faithful. If people have bothered to rate when they've done well, is that it works.
As you know, we don't usually bother to put feddbacks when these are positive and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or incidence...

The 2020 Margo was pretty damn good! I would recommend visiting their location by bicycle as they are located right next to Fort George National Histoic Site.
Great food, cozy and nice restaurant, in the middle of a beautiful winery. We went there on a day trip to Niagara-on-the-Lake and ver much enjoyed the experience. The wines are awesome, but on the pricy side. Food prices are reasonable. Staff are also very friendly.
Definitely a must when visiting Niagara. Some of my favourite wines during our stay. Spencer gave us great service and excellent recommendations. Make sure you make a reservation if wanting to stay for dinner as they fill up quickly! We will definitely be back to checkout the restaurant in the future. Great atmosphere and one of the most beautiful locations in Niagara.
I really love everything about Two Sisters, the wine, the patio, the ambience & the food. I read reviews and a few people commented on the wine tastings high price & compared the price to other wineries in the area. In my opinion, there is no comparison to the other wineries. This wine at two sisters is more like a French wine or maybe similar to some of the California wines. I had high hopes at the other wineries in the area after going to Two Sisters but found the other wineries had more of a sweet cherry wine you get in some of the Midwest wineries like Michigan & Missouri. As far as the tasting price, if you buy a bottle they will deduct the price of the tasting from your bottle. If you are in Niagara on the lake or at Niagara Falls & want a really good glass of wine with a great atmosphere this is my pick by far!!
Last weekend my cousins and I went on a wine tour at the Two Sisters and we had such an amazing time! Ken was our host and he had SO MUCH knowledge to share, he even gave us examples of what to pair each wine with, explained how each one was made, answered ALL of our questions, told me what glasses I should buy for the types of wine that I like best. He was exceptional to say the least, it doesn't take much to see his passion. The place itself is also beautiful, the wine was great, but Ken made our experience go from a 5/5 to a 6/5!!!!
Horrible experience. I stopped in with my family just now August 1st at about 3:30 PM and asked to buy (purchase) a glass of wine and was told NO. Lol they (the teenagers running the place) said and I quote “unfortunately we can’t serve and sell you a glass of wine at the moment” and gave no reasonable excuse as to why. It’s a winery! Haha wow The tastings were full but the restaurant wasn’t and the restaurant said they stopped selling glasses of wine today. It’s a beautiful sunny day and I was looking forward to walking around and enjoying a glass of wine. Ruined my experience and expectation. We just lived through a pandemic and people are finally getting out and I couldn’t even buy a glass of wine at a winery.
colonial-era driveway entrance, more impressive than most golf clubs. But who were the original owners and who were the workers then?
We did a wine tasting and came back a few days later for dinner and we loved both visits. Their staff were excellent during our tasting- knowledgable and patient with our many questions, and the wines we tried were great. Dinner was also fabulous (food, service, atmosphere, view of the vineyard, etc.).
Great atmosphere and definitely worth booking early. Amazing flavourful food and BEAUTIFUL location. Higher than many restaurants in price although worth every penny and even better than Toronto's Yorkville!
Really great food, service, wine, and views. A bit of Italy in Niagara falls. Service could be quicker but our waitress was knowledgeable and really friendly.
Always my fav place. Super busy for a wed. Always reserve beforehand!! Their white wine is a blower.
What a gorgeous winery! One of my favourites to have visited by far. The grounds are beautiful and the wines here are fabulous. It’s generally hard to find a winery with good Ontario reds and these guys have nailed it in both their Merlots and their Eleventh Post red blends. The Twilight Experience by the pond with Italian picnic and wine pairings is a must-do! Charming spot . Food was delicious and the view was beautiful!Thank you for a lovely lunch!
Got engaged here yesterday! Loved the Cab Franc. Beautiful property.
The patio at the winnery was an excellent choice for a wine tasting after our bike ride today.
We went there on a day of NOTL winery tours but the winery was closed off apparently for a wedding. There was no sign, nothing saying that! We actually went inside and almost crashed the wedding when someone from outside came in and informed us that the tasting room wasn’t open because of the wedding! So we left. The winery however looked very nice inside.
Beautiful location, wonderful views, professional and personalized service despite the pandemic... And most importantly, a great selection of well crafted wines. Definitely one of my « coup de cœur ». Well done!
The grounds are beautiful however it is way overpriced. We paid $42 per person for a tasting and got probably less than an ounce. The tables next to us got at least double that. You can barely get a taste. We also found out that if you just walk in it’s $20 per person.
One of the most beautiful restaurants in NOTL. We had a meal here to recover after a few wine tastings. The service was great, food was delicious, and you can walk around the vineyard with access from the patio. Definitely the place to eat on your wine tour!
You know the feeling where people post humblebrags on Insta and make everyone else feel super miserable because they are missing out? This place can help you achieve exactly that. I really think if you are in the GTA and need to humblebrag it out , make the drive here. It's worth it. My only complaint is that I started to get a Rayban tan because I was enjoying the sun for too long.....tough life.
I visited this beautiful location to attend a special dinner event (a collaboration between the chefs of Kitchen 76 & Martello Restaurant) in the charming barrel cellar. The food was excellent, service was wonderful and friendly from the moment we arrived. The ambience was lovely. I visited in the evening, but even in the dark, I could see what a picturesque location this is. I’d highly recommend, I’ll definitely be visiting again! Disclosure: I was invited as media for a private dinner event. The food and dinner was complimentary. All opinions here are my own. ———————- Follow me on Instagram for more food and travel! @yamisohungry
Service was great but the menu very limited. Cold some dished were just warm. 5 meals ordered and only one person enjoyed their meal. The pizza cold and no taste
Very tasty wine they made inside. Fewer people and nice environment. Not like Niagara Falls just made for tourism
Stunning location very worthy of taking some nice pictures. Our tasting was led by a lady named Francesca and she was clearly very passionate about wine and super sweet. I wish the sample amount the poured for the tastings was a little more in order to really get a good taste of the wine considering you pay 50$ for the experience. But overall decent experience.
Fabulous winery, and beautiful Merlot. But beware of tasting surcharge of $20 if you choose to share a flight.
I have dined at some of the best Italian restaurants in the world, in Rome, Florence, Varese and Venice and all of the food there was not only superior but also less expensive. This place is shockingly overpriced! For lunch a simple pizza with a smidgen of tomato sauce, a few scattered basil leaves and three or four small dollops of mozzarella was a whopping $22.00. (Also brought to the table lukewarm.) Add funghi, (mushrooms), and it becomes $32.00! A glass of wine at lunch will run you $18. The soup of the day is $14.00, this one roasted red pepper and tomato which are seasonal and .99 cents a pound with some spin about "farm to table" from an over eager waitress. A glass of beer is $8.75. The place is an unfortunate clip. It's pretty, with a patio that overlooks some vineyards, but it's a place for people who know nothing of good food and wine but like to think they do. I absolutely do not recommend this spot. It's an extraordinary tourist trap. The kitchen is run by kids who know little or nothing about exquisite cuisine.
Four adults had dinner there on Saturday at 5 pm. To be fair the food was good, There was a creative Italian menu. However, there were flies all around our table .They were out of 4 items we asked for from the menu. The noise level inside the restaurant is one of the worse we have ever experienced . It was intolerable . We were yelling at each other to be heard and the restaurant was half full. The prices are outrages. You pay exorbitantly for everything If you want bread --its extra. If you want vegetables with your main course choice --they are extra. If you want potatoes with your main course --they are extra. This is a pretentious restaurant that charges more than the most expensive restaurants in Toronto where we live and where you get vegetables and potatoes with your dinner .lamentably, the setting is lovely and the view charming but everything else is an astonishing "ripoff". There are much better places to eat in Niagara on the Lake
Went for a tasting with friends on Saturday. The building is beautiful!!! The tasting fee was slightly more expensive than other places but they were ok with sharing. And it turned out to be not a big deal because we ended up buying wine Andrew was super helpful and easily the best we've seen amongst all of the tastings we've been. He heard that we are from KW so he suggested unoaked Chardonnay. We weren't a fan before but now we are!!!
Beautiful setting, some of the best wines from Ontario, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had to take one star off since I feel the price point is quite steep for what you get. While we enjoyed the outdoor tasting 50/person was quite steep. Similarly with the wine, although very good there are better bottles at their respective price points. Still bought some as they do make some of the best reds in Ontario.
Wine tasting overpriced and designated drivers are still charged $22 to sit on the patio and drink a glass of water. Got a sip of wine in each of the tastings.
This is a trip you need to take. The scenery and facility is stunning. Had lunch on the immense covered patio of which was beautiful. Lunch menu was small, but the selection was fabulous and it tasted fantastic. A little bit pricey and worth every penny. Definitely on my list for a return visit.
Overpriced fix menu for 50$ ! Margherita pizza was full of tomato sauce , like tomato soup and the taste was so bad, pasta was super creamy and heavy ! It is a tourist trap restaurant! I will never go back ! Waste of money ????
I had a very pleasant experience! Beautiful views, everything so elegant and charming! Great wine, specially the Merlot!! Had the pleasure of having lunch in their restaurant, Italian cuisine, fantastic! The carpaccio is a must!! The pork loin panini was phenomenal!!! It was an overall pleasant experience!! I recommend it to anyone that is going to Niagara-by-the-Lake
Yesterday night we had a dinner,me and my wife, around 6.30 without reservation. The place itself look really nice and classy. The service is really hogh class and the server was knowledgeable. We had 2 glasses of wine( amazing quality) and few dishes. I have to admit i am an italian executive chef who works in toronto so i am picky about food. As appetizer burrata: the quality of the cheese was good but the dish itself is just grilled slices of bread, cherry tomatoes cut in half and the cheese. There was not any twist to justify the price and make the dish appealing( cherry tomatoes confit? Blanched and marinated?) As main butternut squash soup with a hint of nutmeg and homemade tagliatelle with shrimps white wine sauce and tomatoes. The soup was without body(prolly strained or too much water to make volume) and the squash was not roasted to caramellize the sugar... Pasta was undercooked( i am italian was not al dente) and the sauce was not emulsioned with anything(oil to be more traditional or butter) so the effect after 2 minutes under the lamps was sauce all on the bottom of the plate and the undercooked pasta sticked on top . shrimps cooked properly. The dessert(italian sundae) was nice and tasty. The dining room was really rustic and the fireplace give a nice atmosphere even if it is really noisy when it's full. The final consideration is two sisters is a place that pair a high class service with a poor kitchen where the dishes are overpriced(31 dollars for pasta,25 for burrata) not for the money itself but for the quality you can find in the plates.
Dinner was nice. Grilled lamb very good. Beautiful location. Now the not so good. Too pricey. Bottle of Cab Sauv was $94 and that was one of the least expensive. As for its quality, I've had much better at half the price and lower. Was very average. A complete disappointment and robbery. Come on Two Sister's, take a look at other wineries.
Wonderful service and very attentive. I had carpaccio and we had a bottle of Eleventh Post. It was very good and dry. My only negative would be the loudness of the restaurant. The ceiling were high but there was nothing to buffer the sound so it was like being in an airport. It took over a month to get a table reservation for lunch. It was worth the wait.
Great experience at this vineyard on our first visit. Great service, food was excellent despite mixed reviews and one of the better wines in the NOL region.
I will definitely come back again when I visit Niagara. I had great experience, wine was amazing and the tour was awesome. Wonderful staff and excellent service
I use to love this place and recommend it all the time but after tonight I won’t. I haven’t been back since COVID but now they have a fix menu with 4 options for 75$ per person (mandatory). I don’t eat meat so I was left with one option: the pizza, I got a burrata/tomato salad for starter and finish with a basic desert... I don’t mind paying expensive money for my diner... when I don’t feel ripped off. I’m disappointed
Lovely place, good wine and awesome cheesecake (we had time only for a dessert!)
This is a beautiful vineyard with an imposing manor house. We did the wine tasting in the Cellar Barrel room. Cozy and spacious. The wines were pleasant but over priced. We had dinner also and this was superb. A truly excellent restaurant. Visit well worth it.
Love this place!! Just attended a wine club event, we are so happy we became members! The place is beautiful, the staff is so friendly and very helpful! We will be back soon!
It was an amazing experience. We did the wine tasting and our server was very well versed and helped pick the proper wines.
One of our favorite winerys. The grounds are beautiful and the service is great. The prices are high but reflect in their wine. We loved their estate red and cabernet franc. Also had some great ice wines. We had dinner at the restaurant and loved their marghertia pizza and orecchiette. Appetizer arancini balls were ok but not our favorites (esp having it in italy). Would highly recommend to check out
My favorite winery in niagara on the lake area. They have the best ice wine. Its $30 for a tasting of 4 wines. I highly recommend getting the bottles of icewine here if u like sweet wines. Its amazing. Food is fantastic here as well. Make a reservation in advance though.
Best place we visited on our day trip. Amazing service, our server gave amazing descriptions of each wine and was knowledgeable. Each additional staff who interacted with us was knowledgeable and friendly. Not a cheap tasting, but a worth it tasting.
It is a very classy restaurant and winery. Amazing customer service, great wine however I give 3 stars as the food is not aligned with the price you pay. One pizza $22, Gnocchi $40, Rigatoni $30, Just over-priced. Again, the place is soooo nice, classy, elegant. I would say, come here for the scenery and service, not for the food.
Amazing winery with great views both inside and out. Even the drive to the winery is beautiful with private estates on either side. The people were super friendly, and although the wine is on the hisher side of the price point, it is understandable when you taste the quality. As an added bonus they have a beautiful restaurant which has brilliant views and a great patio in the summer.
Our experience dates back to the very beginning, Nov 2014 when we were one of the first guests of the winery and restaurant. They had a lot going for them at the time but almost all of those attributes have been lost over time: the food is obscenely expensive, service is mediocre, wine is average quality at abnormally high price. Hey, how about a $36 price tag for a pizza - yeah, come over , and by the way it is no longer what it used to be. We have recommended this property to friends and family over the years , and now it is no longer on that list. So sad.
Probably my favourite vineyard in Niagara on the lake. Wines are great and the service is outstanding. Although we were almost 1 hour late, they made the effort to accommodate us, despite being very busy. We spend almost 2 hours doing tastings in the outdoor patio and never felt rushed or hurried to leave. Dan, our service was extremely knowledgeable and made our first time in the vineyard the best visit so far. We will be coming again.
We've been to Two Sisters Vineyards before and we weren't disappointed this time either. We reserved a 45-minute tasting for 2 and got to choose 4 wines. I personally wasn't impressed with any wines other than the Riesling, but we also bought the Stone Eagle Estate Reserve. This is a more popular winery so I would make a reservation if you want to come. They also have a restaurant. I would come back in the future.
By far the most informative and personalized wine tasting experience I have had the pleasure of experiencing in the Niagara region. In the tasting room, Andrew was attentive to our wine tastes but also challenged our senses with his excellent recommendations. The quality of the wines at Two Sisters are head and shoulders above many of the other larger vineyards in the area. Can’t wait to return to Two Sisters Vineyard in the near future.
Wanted to have dinner here on Saturday. Got there at 515 (didn't have a reservations) and was told sorry no available tables. Waited in the hall while my wife checked open table, got an immediate reservation at 530. Hostess came up with some lame excuse that she was shuffling tables around. Food was decent. Would have given them 4 starts is wasn't for hostess.
Fantastic experience all around. Amazing vintage wines at a fair price point, I'm a picky red wine drinker and i was very impressed with service and knowledge behind the wine and location. Proper red wine crystal glasses and great enviroment to sit back and enjoy the beautiful view over some nice red wine. We will be back ! My favourite vineyard to visit in Niagara Region!
Very nice wine, more on the pricier side of the wine farms. Limited capacity for wine tasting. Waited about 15 min , would recommend booking in advance.
This place is probably twice as expensive as other wineries. But the wines are great and the staff will give you very good suggestions and explanations. We particularly liked their ice wines.
Beautiful ambiance, especially in the warm months, the patio is gorgeous! Food is also outstanding, had the mushroom pizza and highly recommend it! Wines are also delicious, a must stop in the Niagara region, not to be missed!
What is up with their price?? They think their wine is better than other wineries? The tasting is 20$ which all other wineries are between 10 and 15$, and because I am driving I was going to just taste wine out of my friends glasses they were going to charge me 30$ .... I was so insulted that I didn’t want to spend a dime there and left.
Great atmosphere. Great food d. The favourite by far was the meat and cheese plate. Pizza sauce and cheese was amazing but the crust wasn't Neapolitan but still a nice wood fired taste. So much meat on the sandwich. Mmmm and a great view from the outdoor terrace.
Food and vineyard is absolutely fantastic! It's no wonder it was deemed best small winery in Canada and top 100 restaurants! Definately going back!
We pulled in and looked around at the cars and immediately knew that we didn't belong here. The outside is quite nice. The inside is just spectacular. The wine prices were a little out of or range. However, we were told to come for the bathrooms which they live up to their reviews.
It's a five-star service with very unique delicious foods
The red wine was great! I enjoyed the lamb and the pork belly!
Had been there twice before and each time 5 star hands down. Tonight's visit was disappointing as pizza sauce was a bit sour and the charcuterie board meats weredry and disappointing. Gniocci were no longer on the menu either. For what you pay you expect more.
Beautiful facility but mediocre service. This was our 4/5 winery and it was so over crowded that the service was so minimal. Very little explanation and so loud we couldn’t hear anything. Personally liked the other wineries better.
Really nice spot to have dinner. We sat outside and the views are lovely. The food was excellent and service. Pricy but very enjoyable; do they really need to charge $9 for bread and olives? Would still recommend it
Beautiful winery inside and out! The staff were friendly and professional and 100% correct when they say the owners don’t cut corners. The wine tasting was a little pricey $20 per flute, however we purchased bottles and they took the cost off the wine. The restaurant was incredible and matched the expectations set by their standards. I would return to this winery for the food and drink anytime. Highly recommended for the Niagara-on-the-Lake tours.
Very disappointed in my experience today. I wanted to eat with my pregnant wife and 4 year old son for lunch. I called about 15 min before we arrived for lunch and was told they were not able to seat us at the outdoor patio but we could eat inside if we waited for a table. When we arrived I waited in the “walk-in” line and after 10 or so minutes when the guy came up to me I was told they were not taking any walk-ins… I explained that I had called only 15 minutes ago and he indicated that they had a couple of walkins already and we’re not taking any more. He had no sympathy or compassion for the fact that I as a customer drove all the way from Oshua Ontario to celebrate my birthday with my pregnant wife and toddler just to have lunch there… They are currently only serving a prefixed very basic menu but we didn’t care we came for the atmosphere and what we thought was going to be a very enjoyable lunch. He had no sympathy or compassion for the fact that I as a customer drove all the way from Oshua Ontario to celebrate my birthday with my pregnant wife and toddler just to have lunch there… They are currently only serving a prefixed very basic menu but we didn’t care we came for the atmosphere and what we thought was going to be a very enjoyable lunch It’s very disappointing that they have no consideration for their customers time and effort and appreciation for the fact that people are lining up to support their business. It’s hard for me to decide if I’ll ever return
I really want to love this place. It is beautiful, and all my interactions with staff have been positive. I visited there for the fourth time yesterday for lunch, and decided I probably won't be back. We had lunch for two--one glass of wine, one soft drink, one soup, and two pastas---$120 including tip. No bread, or salad, just one average serving size of pasta, and one small that was really more of a soup. My point is that it's not cheap. Service was S L O W, never offered to refill drinks. They used to offer a free tasting after the meal. But now it's only Monday through Thursday---REALLY!!!--I just spent over a hundred dollars for lunch?!--on a cold slow day in January! You can't throw in a few ounces of wine?! I don't pay for tastings anyway, because I always buy wine, but the principal of it......didn't stick around for a tasting, so didn't buy any wine. Doesn't seem like smart business practice to me
Recently took my twins here for wine tasting and a birthday lunch. This is one of this places where the food and wine were amazing, and worth the money. Though there are so many good dishes, my favorite is their simple marinara and the pizzas, though I have never had a bad meal on the menu. I always recommend the wine tasting as a way of seeing what you would like with your meal in advance. If you are lucky, you may actually see the two sisters out working around their business. I love seeing successful business women having a hands on approach to their business.
This place is magical. Decor is stunning and the food is even better. I had the burrata as an app and the spaghetti for my main. Both were delicious. If the weather is nice, I definitely recommend sitting on the patio to overlook the vineyard.
Great food and atmosphere. It was beautiful dining under the covered patio, shaded, and looking out to the vineyard as we ate and sipped wine. One sore point, however, was when we ordered the Cabernet Franc by the glass at $15 per glass. When we received it, we were surprised to see what was literally two "shot glasses" worth of wine per glass. The Cab Franc was good but not THAT good. On a side note, I think it was close to $70 for the bottle bottle if ordered off the restaurant menu but, only $49 if bought from the Two Sisters wine shop.
This is my must-go vineyard whenever i go Toronto. The restaurant was very nice. Staff was very genuine and nice. When you decided on the food they would suggest the best wine pairing with each. All the wines were just so great. After the meal, you got a complimentary coupon for wine tasting next door. How many number of people you have meal with, how many glass of wine to taste. Their best wine was the Eleventh Post. But don’t expect their wines to be cheap, good wine don’t come cheap. But they worth every single penny.
We visited today after this vineyard came highly recommended and we were very disappointed with the total experience. We arrived and no one greated us, they just immediately requested that we pay for the tasting room. We requested to know if there was room for lunch and the moment we said we didn't have a reservation we were immediately turned away. Restaurant was empty but apparently the kitchen was at capacity. This vineyard was so incredibly pretentious is was incredible. 20$ for 4 samples.... I've never seen a vineyard charge this and then not reimburse if you buy bottles. We didn't bother staying as the employees were rude and there were so many people you couldn't even move around. We won't ever be going back, completely crossing this off of our list. So many other high end vineyards in the area that aren't this pretentious, not worth our time.
Gorgeous vineyard and the wines are very good. We did tastings, tried all the ice wines, cab sauv and their riesling. All of which were excellent. The atmosphere is very modern. The restaurant, Kitchen 76 is outstanding, some of the best food I had ever had. Will go back again.
Wow.. a must ! If you would like a great wine tasting experience.
What a beautiful winery! Lots of wine to choose from, there is a restaurant on the premises and the wine tasting is available. There is a beautiful store to purchase wines as well. It was lovely experience to enjoy the wines in such a beautiful environment and to learn more about how everything is made.
OVER PRICED. The prices are more than what pristine Napa Valley Wineries charge!! CRAZY!! Ok- the grounds are gorgeous... but that's it. The Service is awful and the food is blah/average. Charged $50+tax for a slimy soggy pizza and tiny tomato salad... OMG!!! Oh and my glass of wine cost $22 (for like 5oz) WHAT A RIP OFF ** DO NOT EAT AT THIS PLACE--- go for a few photos then LEAVE!! No other wineries in Niagara CHARGE THIS MUCH. This place needs to reduce their prices and get better STAFF! Never going back.
This winery produces very nice premium quality wines. It's restaurant serves decent rustic Italian cuisine. However my guests and I felt we received very rude service during our recent visit. When we complained to the food and beverage director on the spot and also in correspondence following our visit he was unapologetic and antagonistic. We were very surprised this is the way a quality winery conducts business.
I can only speak to the tasting tour : very good experience. A little pricey and the staff are a little inexperienced but very enthusiastic! The wines are all interesting and the tasting at $20 is a pretty good deal all considered. The grounds are spectacular and the facilities are modern and clean.
Beautiful restaurant with great food and service. The grounds were beautiful! I would recommend sitting on the patio if you have the chance.
My wife and I had an impromptu tasting led by Brittany. The wines and service were incredible. Everything was so good that we joined their VIP club. We look forward to returning!
Reserved 2 months in advance and our table wasnt ready. The table finally given was in a wierd position right in the lane between two sets of tables. Was disappointing
Shout out to Kate and the team at the winery and Kitchen76 who were key in helping my sister and I surprise our sister for her birthday. She and hubby had a great dining experience that we were able to conspired with the staff to pay for from afar. They executed the plan perfectly and even took it up a notch. Thank you for giving her an amazing birthday experience and helping us to be apart of it.
Beautiful winery and wonderful tasting. The staff was really knowledgeable. The Rosé is gorgeous!
I had the expectation that the food and wine were 'absolutely exquisite,' as per my colleagues, yet, when my partner and I dined there the other day, we were absolutely not impressed. First off, we're proud "wine snobs." The white wines and rose aren't good at all. They outsource those grapes. We aren't merlot or cab sav drinkers, so the reds were automatically off our list. Then for lunch, we ordered the burrata, which was decent. I had the farfalle which was ok, very filling. He had the spigola and was unhappy. They gave him the tail end with very little meat in the half portion and the potatoes were dry. We had the beignets for dessert which were good. We enjoyed our waitress; she was very kind and hospitable. Overall, we will not be returning to Two Sisters.
Award winner Winery, beautiful architect and vineyard facing resturant patio. Highly recommend this place. Amazing food and service.
First, Jennifer, thank you for making my birthday so special. You are a friendly and highly professional server. Second... the food. OMG the food. I loved every calorie-laden bite! Third, but not in any order....the wine. This is one of the best wineries in Niagara. Every course came with wine and it was delicious. I love this winery!
Luxurious is exactly the right word to describe this place. It is beautiful inside and out. Amazing wines ans service. This is easily the most expensive winery I have visited in Niagara-on-the-Lake. A flight of four wines was about $20 but came with a coupon for a discount of $20 off two bottles of wine.
A somewhat traditional "fancy" winery in Niagara. Feels like several of the other ones with an impressive building and nice views but ever-so-slightly inauthentic. That being said, we had an excellent lunch at the restaurant. The staff were attentive and the food was excellent. Lunch got us two free tasting samples and the wines we sampled were excellent.
I chose to celebrate my birthday there and went with a group. We were seated outside with a very beautiful view. The grounds are amazing. Their wine were not good and we were stuck with various wine we didn’t like. The food was extremely terrible. None of us liked our meal. The pasta I ordered was dry and very bitter (rapini).. Some of my friends had greasy/soggy plates. We all left 70-90% of our food. The bill for 7 ppl was over $600. I would not be exaggerating if I said the food was the worst I have ever had in a Canadian restaurant. The setting was beautiful but the food absolutely ruined it.
We visited this winery on a day we didn't have our kids with us, so we were pretty excited. It's a beautiful winery with a lovely area in the back to sit in some Muskoka chairs and enjoy a glass of wine with the view of the vineyard. It was very busy but they seemed very well-equipped to deal with it. They were very organized in getting people in the tasting room and out to the patio without feeling like we were being pushed in any direction. The wine was delicious and the atmosphere was lovely. We are looking forward to going back.
Amazing food and great location. Friendly staff and very helpful. The patio has been extended with red umbrellas. Beautiful setting.
Not great. Tastings are expensive, and the service we received was sub par and seemingly apathetic to our presence. Used to love this winery, now I'm turned off. Won't be returning.
I just had my wedding here a few days ago. It was Tara’s first wedding during Covid season. My god - I cannot say enough good things about her. Literally such a kind human. She made the day absolutely unforgettable, memorable and put so much time and energy. You can truly tell this is something she loves doing. The food was amazing. The wine was great. The staff was so nice. The barrel room is stunning. If you’ve ever thought to have an event or wedding here, do not hesitate!! Best experience ever.
One of my favorite places to take photos, eat, and of course have wine. This is the single best place to just relax and have an amazing meal every time! The staff are beyond friendly, and they work with outside vendors so well. Tristan from FelicityMoments.com
Our family went to Two Sisters for wine tasting only. They charge $40 for a flight of 4 tastings when other wineries charge $8-10. To add further insult we are served by someone who obviously didn't want to be there. This person did not provide any information on the wines being served and the best answer he could come up with on "what wine is Two Sisters best known for?" is to respond "they are known for all their whites and reds." Great! We won't be back. Also, pours are less than other wineries.
Visited over the weekend, nice vineyard but the women running the wine tasting tent ran out of the wine we chose and instead of getting a new bottle opened just under poured us and charged us 40$ for two half portion glasses....pretty brutal service. You’re already over priced as it is, at least go inside to get more inventory if you’re running low.
Spectacular experience and high-quality product. The grounds and scenery are full of beauty and elegance . The atmosphere and ambiance were striking yet, very relaxing. Most importantly, the tasting was an impressive learning experience about the fascinating art of wine making. The thorough and notable knowledge was delivered with eloquence and superb professionalism. Thank you Two Sisters Vineyards- what you do is greatly appreciated.
Andrew was amazing today! So knowledgeable and so passionate! He made our entire trip to Niagara region worth while! We are so grateful, thank you!!!!
We visited Two Sisters yesterday. At first thought that the tasting was a bit pricey, so wife and I shared a tasting and that was more than sufficient. The wines were very good. We were impressed that they actually use the proper shaped glasses for each particular wine. Hannah was knowledgeable about the wines, gracious, personable and professional. Favorite stop in NOTL.
I was pretty blown away at the experience! We came as a group to reunite another experience we shared together. This location was chosen by a Niagara-on-the-Lake friend of ours and it didn’t disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing. I went with a pasta and rice balls on the side, that both myself and my 3 year old happily devoured. The rest of the table shared pizzas and appetizers with several bottles of wine. The grounds were beautiful and the facilities are 5 ⭐️ all the way.
Wine is very good, tried 3 wine, and all very good. However, really need to mention about their Red Icewine, it is exceptionally good out of the three I tried. Then comes to the food! It is very good too, and it pairs very well with the wine, as they did made their suggestions on the menu. Last but not least, great services! She knows very well about their food and wine! Sure will be back again! Friendly suggestions, please made your reservation before you go!
This is really an estate winery. As you drive up the long tree lined drive surrounded by vineyards to the beautiful chateau with restaurant and wine tasting room. The wines are fantastic. They are also expensive and upper end compared to many other Niagara wineries. Service was fantastic. Very fancy. Free WiFi and parking.
We only did two tasting flights and the sommelière, Viktoriia, was quite knowledgeable. She explained everything very well and made some great recommendations.
My favorite vineyard restaurant Everything was delicious best food best service best place
I ended up at Two Sisters Vineyard because the surrounding wineries were quite busy. I'm glad I stumbled upon this winery; the grounds and property we're spectacular. I enjoyed being able to sip a glass of wine on the terrace area overlooking the vineyard. It vibes like a beautiful backyard-estate kinda feel. Much of my critique resides in echoing a number of previous comments regarding value - this is certainly a high priced venue and I'm not entirely convinced the experience matched the price (I bought 4 glasses of wine for nearly $100). It was a shame that they closed the restaurant as well, I would have liked to sample the food offerings. I'd like to visit Two Sisters again when they are fully offering the full experience.
Food was above average. For a fancy Italian restaurant though, they don't really have a good understanding of what "primo", "secondo" and "contorno" are.
Went for wine tasting here. The waiter was knowledgeable and patient for our group of 6. We ordered some food and they're really good. I find it a bit pricey. We didn't have the chance to go around (wish we did).
We chose this winery as we had heard some good things about their wine. Arriving at the estate we were impressed by the beauty. Being an American who had spent time in Sonoma it reminded me of the Ledsen winery. The parking lot was basically empty and upon entering we waited at the reception desk for some time before a man who had been on the phone rushed out of the tasting room to confront some ladies who had entered and were going to take a photo out the back door of the entry hall. Grumbling about it he returned and was heading back to the phone when he realized we might want to do a tasting. Because we had been at several tastings we chose to share a flight. For $30. The man at the tasting bar poured scant amounts in the glasses, hardly enough to do a good tasting for one let along paying an addition $10 to make it a shared tasting. He poured the 4 glasses gave a rehearsed description and handed me a pen and order sheet and moved on to another couple who had arrived. A total of 3 tastings going on. We chose a red that we would purchase expecting that as was the case in the other wineries that day some or all of the tasting price could be applied. Well it could but only if we purchased 4 bottles. At that point we declined to make a purchase and the man who had been on the phone when we entered made remarks about well if you like the wine you should be able to afford to buy it. He was right we defiantly could afford to buy it but by then his comment only made us feel ripped off. Would not recommend a visit to Two Sisters to anyone. The lack of visitors should have been a clue.
A beautiful location, but you certainly know how they pay for it. We had hoped to dine here but it was fully booked, so we explored having a wine sample flight but left when we heard the prices. $20 for 3 samples is too much, especially when many other places are half of that or less.
What a beautiful addition to our Niagara Area! Such a beautiful, Clean surrounding. Had lunch on the patio. It was extremely peaceful and beautiful. The food was delicious and the service by our server Jennifer was second to none! Jennifer is a beautiful asset to Kitchen 76 for sure! The only thing I would have made me happier, would have been adding white linen on the tables. Honestly, I shared pictures of the building, vineyards, restaurant and patio with family and friends because I want them too to be able to experience a beautiful place to share a meal with family and friends in our own backyard. I cook too and so I do not find myself eating out often but when I find a place like this, I will return with other family and friends as well. They showed me a private room I can have a dinner in as well, seats about 16 and it was full of wine barrels ! How different and beautiful! Congratulations to the Marotta family and to the two sisters. I loved it!
One of my favorite vineyards in Niagara on the lake. Excellent food and a very romantic atmosphere.
Had an amazing dinner with exceptional service and food even though the restaurant was jammed. Wait staff were extremely professional and accommodating. Atmosphere was delightful with the fireplace. Donuts for dessert are a MUST!! Can't wait to go back. Love their stemware! Only thing that would make the experience better is the option of bar drinks...
Excellent food and the best view - a rare combination. Italian inspired dishes and quality wine with a great selection. Great staff and customer service all the way through. Loved it!
My first visit and now one of my favourite Vineyards. Excellent service. Delicious Italian food. Serene scenery and just an overall fantastic experience. Went one evening for the fire and frost experience outdoor wine tasting experience with the fire pits during cold weather and followed it by lunch the following day which was delicious. Their Riesling ice wine is a must try and fabulous.
Recently went on a wine tasting tour that was led by Erika and Kylie. They are both so incredibly friendly, knowledgable and passionate about what they do. They provided a truly wonderful experience and we are so happy we were able to be part of the tour they gave! :) We joined the wine club and can't wait to return soon
Excellent service, delicious food (super fresh) and very good wine! The outdoor dining area overlooks the winery and the property is beautiful all around. I’d definitely come back!
Amazing food! Fell in love with the burrata and arancini. Pizza and rabbit Ragu was very delicious and made just right. Top notch service as well.
One of the best restaurant I've had. Amazing wines but pricey!! The cheapest red bottle is 42$ CAD.
Absolutely incredible experience! Can not rave about it any more. We booked the twilight experience and had the fortune of being placed with Ken as our guide. From start to finish we were in utter awe by the whole experience not only is it picturesque of having a picnic by the fountain as the sun sets we were also graced with the knowledge Ken has of the region being born and raised within the Niagara on the lake region. Ontop of that, Ken is well traveled and has a vast knowledge of travel and various parts of the world. Could not have asked for a better experience at the two sister vineyard. Hands down one of our most memorable touring and dining experiences. A bit about the tour.. you’re greeted with sparkling rose and walk though the vineyard and then welcomed to a picnic table situated by the fountains. There you are seated at a picnic table with an al fresco meal of salads and a cheese platter to accompany the wine selection that pairs oh so perfectly with the food provided. The picnic sets the mood with a table prepared with two salads - buratta and heirloom tomatoes and an arugula and steak salad also a platter of 3 various cheeses, char grilled focaccia and olives. Ken begins to pour you various glasses of wine to enjoy along side each dish explaining each and telling intricate details about the vineyard and the history of what came to be two sisters. Still gob smacked about the whole tone and mood set by the tour. Feeling stuffed and happy with our experience we figure let’s follow by dessert at the Resturant .. but first chose to stock up on wine at the shop where Ken helps allocate the brilliant wines we had the pleasure of tasting. If you want a memorable everlasting memory of good food and wine with a breath taking views we highly suggest the twilight experience tour. you will not regret it! If you are a foodie you have to do it, if you’re a lover of good wine and good conversation , do it! If you love a date that is outside the box, do it. I would book this tour in a heart beat with friends as well. We will definitely be back. Loved the whole experience from start to finish. Like any dining out experience we Love the ability to connect with strangers, share a drink and good conversation... Ken is a great request if you love to travel, love history of the region or overall someone that is knowledgeable of many intricate details about wine EVEN BEER and the world! He is someone that breaths and lives the zest for life. This is your guy! Thank you to the two sisters team for creating such a memorable night. Thank you Ken for being part of our memories we can’t wait to regale about it With friends and family Many thanks, Alexsandra & Chris
I came in the summer and was disappointed to find out we couldn’t get any food because there was a private event. When I checked the website prior to arrival it did not mention this at all, so we were stuck in the indoor tasting room. Tasting fee was $20, which is double the price of all the other wineries in the area. You have to buy 2 bottles (not 1 like the other wineries) to get your tasting fee covered as well. Wine was expensive but the Rose is now my favourite!
Absolutely love the winery and especially Kitchen 76! I've gone there for brunch/lunch with my wife and family a few times now. I haven't tried any of the meat entrees but the apps and pizzas are fantastic. I highly recommend sitting in the outdoor seated area during spring/summer to enjoy the views of the winery along with your meal. It's very picturesque and well worth the drive. The prices are reasonable, and their wine is a must try. Their older Rieslings have a slight bubbling due to the acidity!
Came here for tastings and a wine tour. Incredible wine selection. Awesome service. Great ambience . White wines are awesome. Kylie, our tour girl was amazing. Super knowledgeable, fun, bubbly , and made our wine tasting tour so fun . Loved every minute of it . She is super awesome.
Excellent wines and an amazing dinner patio. The wine is beautiful - I am a fan of their reds, love the Stone Eagle but had the Eleventh Post with dinner this time - really great pairing The beef carpaccio is smooth and soft, contrasts nicely with the arugula and the smoked parmesan. The prosciutto with pasta in an olive oil sauce brought out the hint of sweetness underlying the Eleventh Post pairing For dessert a wonderful pannacotti paired with their Reisling Ice wine - not too sweet but just enough to satisfy All around an extraordinary visit. You will be happy with either a tasting flight or a meal - the place is beautiful, the people are friendly and the fare is incredible.
Nice winery but very expensive. Wine tasting is $30, and if you buy 4 bottles they give you $20 off the tasting. It’s double the price for a tasting compared to other wineries in the area. The restaurant kitchen 76 was a huge disappointment, very overpriced for underwhelming food.
One of the most beautiful patios in Niagara on the Lake. With the sunset over the Vines and the architecture or the patio it puts you in a mood to relax. The food is excellent. With generous portions and Italian menu of fresh ideas this place has an excellent mix of farm to table with a hint of Italy. Most items are local with some special imports. The wines here are excellent from the bubbles to the reds I enjoyed several tasting options. I highly recommend to drink by the glass so you can try a few options. A beautiful night I will remember and look forward to another great dinner here in the future. Recommend to book early.
I had more fun NOT at Two Sisters. My husband and I were honeymooning in Niagara on the Lake and were recommended to visit, and unfortunately were very disappointed. We were unable to visit for not only a glass of wine but also a tasting, on a Tuesday might I add. We were turned away immediately and felt unwanted as guests of the neighbouring hotel. Its very sad to see the profiling happening this day and age. I guess you have to book months in advance or show your T4 to visit here. Book elsewhere to avoid this disappointment. Peller treated us well.
We were seated on the patio, such a beautiful view. The food and service was unbelievable, highly recommend
I have had some of my most memorable experiences at Two Sisters Vineyards. Wine tastings with great people who really know their stuff, good directions and they also have some super cool events with tours through the vines. Kitchen 76 their amazing restaurant is the jewel in the crown. In the summer their patio is just gorgeous. It has a roof so even if the weather isn’t perfect the patio still is. Please follow @joannasable on instagram for more food and travel
Too bad we can't rate them a zero. I find it quite pretentious to assume that one can not afford to dine at your (insert sarcasm) wonderful establishment. Sadly I was turned away before I even decided to go there via email! I guess they assumed that we don't earn enough. It's too bad that this place turns away business. I'm sure there will be plenty of other wineries that will welcome my $$$$ gladly! I guess Tara Moore should learn some manners along with her title of events coordinator....can not teach class sadly!
Go somewhere else!! 70$ fixed price menus, with a starter and second. Salad was gross and overpowered with anchovies. The second was pizza for 70$. And the beer!? Worst beer I’ve ever had, probably the only time in my life that I couldn’t finish one it smelled like peas and tasted like puke! The staters were good, however not included in the fixed price. Haha. Locals told us to go to Galveston House, wish we had listened. Avoid this place.
Absolutely fantastic. The best cacio e pepe I've had. Their Rhode Island Red roast chicken was also fabulous and rare to find this delicious breed on a menu. Great service and a lovely room. Highly recommended.
Very elegant place. Restaurant and food are a must try experience but restaurant is always busy on weekends so do a reservation.
The Blanc de Franc was worth the visit. The site is absolutely beautiful. No kids are allowed on the terrace for tasting. They are allowed inside though (which is strange because outside, they could run around the vines and enjoy the sun). Fun but a little cold.
Good: The estate is beautiful. The vineyards were beautiful to walk through and the pond was lovely! (You could realistically see this for free though...) Bad: $50 per person for an outdoor tasting. Waaaay too expensive for four wines that weren't anything special. We heard there were $30 tastings available, but that was not an option when booking online which we were pretty annoyed with. Also, there were children EVERYWHERE. Why? Why bring children to a vineyard? Why allow children at the winery? There were babies screaming as soon as we walked in the door, not exactly the atmosphere you're expecting at a winery. Individual glasses of wine were $20 at the outdoor tent. No thank you. Ultimately, the price does not justify the experience. We won't be back and we will be advising others not to visit as well, unless to look around the grounds. Not worth it in our eyes. Significantly more enjoyable wineries within the Niagara region that your time would be much better spent enjoying.
We had the most amazing time with our Veranda Tasing and it was all thanks to Dieter! He was simply the best and made our Two Sisters experience the best it could be!
Great location and an amazing business model. This winery definitely stands out with the high end experience and feel
Had a delicious lunch here. Traditional Italian style dining with beautiful views over the vineyard. Left with some excellent wine purchases to enjoy later. The rigatoni was a favorite of our group.
Visually beautiful winery as you walk out on their back patio. Their 2015 riesling was the best sip in their tasting lounge.
I was in Niagara On The Lake for the weekend with my wife. In town, i asked around for dinner recommendations... Three Sisters. I was very very fortunate to get a last minute reservation after many phone calls. Phenomenal food, just incredible. And the wine is sublime. Service was exceptional, wine was beyond comparison to anything in Niagara. The service from our waiter was fantastic - Thanks Josh! If you can phone ahead and get a table on the grass between the main building and vines, lucky you.
Beautiful vineyard, had lunch on the vineyard so memorable.. delicious food, high quality wine and really immersive experience!
Very nice decorated winery. We did wine tasting first, loved StoneEagle and had lunch in the restaurant. The food was delicious, and good quality. I had pasta with rabbit; the portion was generous as well.
Seating was promised to us while they coersd us to pay for wine sampling only to call us back and inform us that our wine sampling was ready instead of dining seating and we would have to wait N hour more. Obviously it was a misunderstanding for seating; although the hotess didn't seem too care. This is what happens when they're too busy. They have lost me as a patron. This was my first and last time.
Quite busy, but we'll worth the wait as you can buy wine and a charcuterie board outback while waiting and enjoying the view sitting on Muskoka chairs. The wine tasting experience was well worth the $30 and we ended up purchasing over 4 bottles based on the phenomenal taste and overall ambiance and experience. Highly recommended, but look to reserve at least a month in advance if you're intertwining in dining.
Excellent wine and even better food. The staff was extremely accommodating and lovely to deal with.
Yes it is a beautiful winery but what a disappointment this year. We've been going, tasting and purchasing every year for years. I know everyone is struggling because of COVID but their pricing has become unreasonable. $30 for a tasting and then if you buy 4 bottles (most at $35+ a bottle) you then get $10 back from the tasting fee? Nope! You've lost a customer.
My wife and I visited yesterday at 1:30 pm, 2021/07/15, hoping for lunch without a reservation. We were told that they were fully booked but we could be seated at 2:15. We enjoyed the facilities during the wait time. At 2:15 we were told that a table would be available in a few minutes but we continued to wait. At 2:30 the restaurant manager explained that the dining room would be closing at 3:00 and they couldn’t accommodate us before then so we were turned away. She did volunteer that some patios would likely be open along the Niagara Parkway but instead we went next door to Peller Estates Winery where they have all-day dining and enjoyed a late lunch there on the patio. We will return to Two Sisters Winery but with a reservation.
The perfect summer patio lunch on a perfect weather day. Wonderful food, outstanding service.
Wine tasting was good. Lots of options to choose from. Tried the restaurant (set course) and was pleasantly surprised! The beef carpaccio was absolutely delicious
Absolutely beautiful venue. The food was fabulous and our server was excellent. I would definitely go back!
My fiancé and I celebrated our engagement at Two Sisters Vineyards last week. Our expectations were exceeded! We received great service from start-to-finish. The tasting experience was my favourite out of all the wineries we visited that week. For dinner, we were seated on the patio closest to the vineyards and watched the beautiful sunset. The food was incredible - warm, mouth-watering, and exquisite. We will definitely be back!
We attended the Rose Wine event on September 18th. From my rather vast experience, I would say that $40.00 was too high a price for three miniscule tastes of wine without even a fresh glass for each. The DJ music was raucous and destroyed what could have been a beautiful mood. The only food available was pricey: $25 for a small tray of meats and cheeses, $10 for popcorn, and $25 for potato chips! We paid Out $130 and left both hungry and thirsty, and with our ears ringing.
This past weekend went to many wineries for wine tasting, and my experience here was the best. The sommelier explaining each of our wines also asking what we were planning to order so he would advise us properly which ones we should have first to last. The person serving us even went out of his way to inform us about the types of wine glasses and how much of a difference they make by giving us a second one in another glass. Honestly this was my first time doing a wine tour as it was for my girlfriends birthday. This was the first spot we went to and she spoiled me as other places didn't compare with the knowledge and service provided.
We went here last weekend for lunch at Kitchen76 and a wine tasting. First off, the grounds themselves are gorgeous. The view of the vineyard is lovely. However, lunch was ridiculously overpriced for what was offered. While the food was averagely delicious, things like a very thin crust, personal pizza should not cost $30. Every single menu item was very overpriced and nothing about the menu was particularly special or unique to justify the cost. I imagine the dinner menu is even more unjustifiably overpriced. Further, the service did not match the price level. The service was very slow, our meals were slow and our meals came out at different times. No bread and olive oil or olives or anything was offered during the long wait. I've had much better meals in Italy for less. After lunch, we moved onto our wine tasting. We have been here two times in the past and enjoyed our tastings in the past. Last summer, the wine tasting was $10 for 3 samples and the samples were generous and the staff very friendly. Now, the tasting is $20 for 4. The tastings were not very large and $20 for 4 tastings is again quite high. Quite frankly, I think this place has gotten a lot of press and that combined with being the fanciest winery in the area, has jacked up prices. I find it way overhyped and better for cute selfies and pictures than for the food and wine.
We recently went to Two Sisters for lunch and it was a huge disappointment. The vineyard is huge and the building impressive but completely lacking in any warmth. The staff were bordering on snooty and that doesn't fly in NOTL. Lunch took close to an hour to arrive when the place was nearly empty and they barely checked on us, let alone apologized for the delay. Wine samples were three for $10! I visit the wineries frequently and almost never pay if I'm buying and if I'm not buying, it's sometimes $1 a tasting. You do get a free sample when you submit your lunch receipt but the girl behind the counter ripped the bottom of our receipts, passed our samples and walked away. Not the best way to engage the customer in the experience. The one real standout was the food - delicious. Expensive, but delicious. There a ton of other warmer, friendlier, cheaper vineyards so this wouldn't be on my list!
The food was fantastic but the pretentious attitudes with average wine didn't leave much of a fond impression.
My wife and I had an exceptional time while enjoying our tasting a Two Sisters. Some wineries have more of a business/impersonal atmosphere while Two Sisters was very personal. A credit to Hugh who guided our tasting with high expertise and knowledge. Would highly recommend.
Dinner here was our best experience in Niagara. Every course was perfect, as was the service. The wine was superb. Well worth the expense for a special occasion. One good thing with COVID restrictions is that they pushed us into the barrel room!
Well crafted reds. See Andrew in the tasting room for a well curated wine experience.
My husband & I went to Two Sisters winery in Niagara-on-the-lake during a day of winery tours. The building & ambiance was beautiful, but the nice experience stopped there. We sat there for about 15 minutes & were ignored. I stopped one of the employees & asked for assistance & I was told he was busy & he would be back. That never happened, so we left. There were so many wonderful wineries in the area, but this isn't one of them. Don't waste your time or money.
Dolce e Salato is a must try! The most tasty pizza I have never had before. Can’t wait to come back to try other options.
Unfortunately we arrived late for our tour and there were no other available slots due to private event. However we were so pleasantly surprised that our money was refunded, plus we were given a couple of vouchers for wine tastings for our troubles. We still enjoyed our walk though the vineyard. Even though we missed the tour and the restaurant was booked up, we still got the taste of quality and beauty of this place. We are determined to go back while the weather is warm and this time will arrive far in advance :) Thank you for a lovely experience and amazing service!
Pros: The food and ambience is good. The shaded patio is a great spot, weather permitting. Their local wine is interesting. Cons: Some appetizers are overpriced with no good reason. Service is slow on busy days, and the staff are not always willing to help. Suggestion: Since they make their own wine, it makes sense to provide the bottles in the restaurant at the same price as their on premise store + tip/tax. Their current overhead is around 50-60%.
We ate there twice in the last 2 years. We were disappointed with the food, steak was undercooked for my wife's liking and I didn't enjoy mine either. Eating inside does not have much ambience but we did like the outside seating. Others seem to like it more than us. It's a beautiful winery.
I have been to this restaurant several times. This past time was so disappointing. I ordered Paccheri and when it arrived I ask why there was no fresh basil. I was told there was a change to the menu, the basil was in the sauce. It was such a sad looking plate of red sauce and pasta that tasted boring. I wish I had got a picture of it. The picture of pasta I have is from a previous visit.
We came to NOTL for a quick weekend trip and we checked out multiple wineries and would have to say this is one of the best ones we went into. The interior is beautiful and yes, it is more fancy and probably out of our expected price range but the quality of the wines and the service we received was fabulous.
Great atmosphere, great service but definitly expensive. My wife and I did the wine tasting here, it was great. Our server Ken was very knowledgable and helpful, couldnt rate him highly enough. My wife isnt a wine drinker but Ken actually found one she really liked. It is expensive and its hard to justify the cost of the wine from them but it was a nice afternoon and the wines were good.
Had a really lovely time at the restaurant. The food was delicious, the wine was excellent and our server was attentive! The area is also really pretty. We definitely took some photos ;) the prices are on the higher end, so be prepared to spend at least $85 on a bottle of wine.
We visited for an indoor walk-in wine tasting. We were greeted by Francesca who did an outstanding job of engaging us in the story behind each wine and answering our many questions. Having been to many wine tastings I often find that the descriptions of the tasting notes don’t always match with what I personally taste, however Francesca hit every one on the head! I was blown away by the clear banana notes on the first sip of the Margo! Together my spouse and I sampled 8 glasses of wine (2 tastings) and therefore feel that we were able to fully appreciate the diversity in the wine offerings. While the wine may be priced higher than your average bottle of wine, I felt that it was warranted given its smoothness, clarity of flavour and overall agreeableness. Not only did we enjoy the experience and the wine, but we purchased several bottles to enjoy at a later date. We look forward to returning!
Ambiance was amazing, sat outside on the patio, food was fantastic as was the service.
Kitchen 76 is the restaurant at Two Sisters Vinyards. What a beautiful spot in Niagara-on-The-Lake. The land and the view is right out of Napa and Italy(just missing the rolling hills). On a warm night, enjoy your dinner outside in the expansive terrace overlooking the vineyards. Extremely comfortable, not too noisy so you can enjoy your conversation. Both the food and the wine were outstanding. The rigatoni was cooked to perfection. The burrata and arancini made for excellent appetizers. The service was excellent with Kaitlin looking after our table. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ????
I’ve been here two different times, the first was amazing and the second was not as good. The winery itself is so gorgeous, you have to go. The restaurant was very good, however it was better the first time I went. The menu is quite small but the dishes are very well made. The wine is amazing, I’d definitely recommend doing a tasting, or two!
Excellent winery, one of our favourites from our trip. The tasting is more expensive then some other wineries but there is a reason..the wines are better. The reds are where it is at. The service was excellent.
To us, TSV hands down is the best vineyard in Ontario and we visit plenty of them annually. TSV wines are very well made. I typically stick to Italian Reds but TSV wine are the only other set of Reds that I found in Canada that gave Amarone competition. Their reds are silky smooth with good amount of sweetness, full bodied with deep red colour. So much so that we became members! Please don't sell out like many other vineyards have in ON.
Amazing venue. Great food! Wonderful service!!! Definitely going to come back.
Two Sisters continues to be a top winery to visit in Niagara. Excellent food and service with some great wines.
I really enjoyed the wines and the beautiful setting. Service at Kitchen76 was good, but the food was unremarkable, especially for the price. It's worth your time to wander around the vineyards and find the pond. It's lovely to sit or lie in the grass and enjoy the water features.
Excellent wine and even better food. Their butternut squash soup was delicious as was their watermelon and tomato salad. A must try if hesding to Niagara on the lake
This is a lovely restaurant and had one of the best bolognese sauces I’ve ever tried in Ontario. The service was great, someone was always making sure we were taken care of. The place is beautiful inside and creates a romantic atmosphere. We sat on the patio which is even nicer. The patio is also covered which is a great feature so we could still enjoy the scenery in the rain.
Delicious pizza & beautiful patio. The service was excellent as well.
Dinner reservations. Service, food and wine were all great, what more can you ask for.
Great wine, quite the venue.. definitely worth a visit
Higher end winery with some outstanding wines. Most are very good. There are, however, a few that are nothing special.
Had such a great experience at the wine tasting. Did a walk-in visit. Absolutely loved it. Kiley was so great. The service was amazing. From when we arrived to where the wine tasting room. The wines themselves were delish!!!! Thanks for a great experience!! The place is beautiful. Will have to be back to have lunch or dinner in their dining area
A very expensive but tasteful experience. I suggest their chardonnay collection. Beautifully crafted dishes and vinyards that make your experience excellent. Dress code in effect and reservations are highly recommended. Come prepared to spend almost 75-200 for your meals. Lovely service and staff members.
First of all this was one of the most incredible places I have ever had pleasure to wine and dine in. From the magnificent mansion to the solid wood 20’ entrance doors, to chandeliers and handcrafted wooden furniture everywhere. This must have been one of the best designed wineries ever! My significant other and I went for Valentines weekend with another couple for a double date and we were left with magical experience. The owners didn't cut corners on anything! From exceptional design to exceptional wine taste, which was a little pricey $20 per flute. However after few wine bottles purchased, they took the cost off of wine. The restaurant Kitchen 76 was incredible and matched the expectations set by their standards. The wines were Absolutely delicious as was the food accompanied by incredible customer service. I had “Tartare Du Cervo” which is Elk Tartar with cabbage which was amazing for appetizers and we enjoyed it with Senza wine that I ended up buying 2 bottles from Two Sisters. For Dinner I enjoyed “Lombata Di Cervo” Quebec Venison Steak with spinach, cherry and nuts (not on Kitchen 76 online menu) and paired it with Estate Reserve Stone Eagle from Two Sisters. For desert I enjoyed “Affagato” which is Vanilla ice cream served in hot espresso and amaretti with a side of chocolate. That was one of the best dinners I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. I will go back to this place in a heartbeat specially in the summer or early fall.
This was honestly the best experience for a winery! The charterturie board was FANTASTIC! The wines were amazing! The service was impeccable! Thank you Kendra. They are knowledgable and care about their customers. This was a perfect place to bring my boyfriend for his birthday. I cannot wait for the Kitchen to open, because here comes round 2!
What a great experience. We were only able to do the tastings. But that was enough for us. The wine is spectacular. We tried eight different wines between my wife and I. There wasn’t one we DIDN’T LOVE! They were all awesome. Our wine server, Viktoriia was wonderful. Very knowledgeable and extremely friendly! We liked everything so much that we joined their quarterly club and will now receive wine Two Sisters delivered directly to our home. There’s a reason this estate wins awards. If you’re in the Niagara region. Be sure the stop in. You will not be disappointed!
This was a great stop for us on our walking wine your of Niagara on the Lake. Friendly staff welcomed us and the wine tasting was fun. The highlight was really their pizza which is delicious (albeit a bit expensive). The views and quality of service made it worth it though. We returned two days in a row since it was so wonderful.
Delicious choices of wine at their tastings and beautiful grounds.
Excellent quality product! Both the Stone Eagle reds in the tasting room were wonderful, as well as the oaked Chardonnay. We also received impeccable service. Not only was Viktoriia knowledgeable about Two Sisters wine, but also about wine in the general area! She made sure we had the richest experience possible!
Amazing architecture and facilities, very friendly staff. Wines are noting spectacular, and "boutique winery" prices are silly. But you will have good time in tasting room or the restaurant.
Love this place and will return often. Great wine and dinner service was fantastic. Pre fix menu isn't large but good selection. Everything we ate was delicious. Our server Hope was amazing. $18 glass of Margo Rose a bit steep as is the $22 Cabernet. Love their wines but the by the glass price is a bit of a gouge. Scenery is beautiful.
We have visited our share of vineyards in Ontario, and Two Sisters, is simply top tier. Simple, elegant , eye appealing, professional & relaxed atmosphere thru and thru. Our private tour was top notch, not only because of the education , views & stories but mostly because of the tour guide himself Paul Newman , not "the' Paul Newman ;). And dinner , fantastic food at a reasonable price . Loved , loved , loved it! And all this in March , it only gets better as the year progresses ..
The food was delicious Italian inspired and casual and professional service. A beautiful setting and decor
Beautiful facility with excellent wines, although they are a bit more on the pricy side compared to other wineries in Niagara - you get what you pay for. On-site restaurant is excellent, one of my favourites in the area.
Visited on Thursday with family; it was my third time going. I have to say, it was also my third time being disappointed. There were only 2 other visitors at the tasting bar, and the staff spent more time talking to each other than they did to us. The man helping us didn’t take a single minute to explain the wine making process at their winery or to describe the wine we were tasting, and we waited on them to finish their conversations with each other with empty glasses before they came over to provide the next sample. The wines are overpriced and the winery definitely thinks a lot of itself - you can tell in the attitude of the staff.
Very good wine. The ice wine here is extremely good
