Steve helped us out with our mortgage when we first bought our house. We weren't ideal candidates, but he helped us find ways to make the approval happen. He even travelled to meet us when and where it was convenient for us. Now he's helping us out again, and made us aware of some options we didn't know about that are going to save us about $300/month. He goes above and beyond, and wants to make sure his clients are in the best possible financial situation they can be in.

This was a very bad experience for us. We had a hard time communicating with Steve in fact we mainly talked to his wife, someone we've never met handling our private information. They consistently used terms we did not understand even after asking them not to. They were insensitive to our personal situation, asking for documents etc. that were humiliating. Blaming the mortgage company that they chose for us without any explanation. They clearly had no idea what he needed to proceed with our mortgage, having us run from bank, to accountant, to city hall, back to bank multiple times over. We had to have our realtor regularly interfere so we knew what was going on with our mortgage. In the very end, we went to our lawyer ready to sign everything only to have Steve ask for more (unrelated) documents while we were sitting there. Our lawyer straight up told us we did not qualify for the mortgage he had for us and that if we stayed with Steve we could and probably would lose our house, deposit and possibly be sued. We went to someone else and had a better mortgage within 4 hours. At that point, we realized that it didn't have to be so painful and degrading as it was with Steve. I would hope someone else could be spared what we went through, the experience with him completely ruined any joy we should have had in buying a home.

This man and his wife, have zero clue what they are doing. And if they do, then they care more about their trips to Vegas than taking care of their clients. Stephen was recommended to us and we blindly trusted him. We needed to borrow against our mortgage to consolidate some debt and ended up in a much worse and more expensive situation than where we started. All due to Stephen not knowing what he was doing or simply not caring. What should have been settled in a month, lasted nearly six months. Most of the time he was on "vacation" or hostile when we questioned the delay. In the end, we ended up owing more money via penalties and fees due to his incompetence and negligence. **Please, do NOT hire Stephen Dainard unless you want your credit ruined. **

The appraiser from Ridley was completely out to lunch and the rate was going to be 4.5% with a "B" lender. Angry and frustrated I reached out to Steve and Kelly and within a week we had a tentative deal at 2.20% and the process was super smooth.
