This nursery is fabulous. It has an awesome location atop the escarpment and is well off the road, so nicely quiet. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. I like that they have native plants such as witch hazel and serviceberry.

The staff was extremely helpful! Unfortunately what I was looking for was not there. But that's not to say they didn't have a good variety. The particular tree I was looking for is a little bit on the rare side I guess. But I will go back there definitely.

WE LOVE OUR FLOWERBED! I first contacted Gaulds back in the spring and was connected to Alex who does their landscaping design work. She was amazing from start to finish. Alex put our vision into reality and worked patiently with us. She came out to our house and then we met her at Gaulds and went over all the specs she put together. She was so knowledgeable and really made our experience pleasant. The installation took place in June, a crew was sent to our home. They came on time and were very professional. They answered all of our questions during the installation and also cleaned up nicely after the installation. I would highly recommend Gaulds and their crew to anyone who is considering updating their flowerbed! A very special thank you to Alex- we couldn’t of done it without you! Another big thank you to the crew- Chris, Nick, Andy, Tom, and David! I hope I didn’t miss anyone! Gauld Nurseries has very knowledgeable employees along with great customer service. I first dealt with Alejandra to help guide us in which trees to use for privacy in our area. The installation of our 9 trees went smoothly. My son was looking for a particular tree, so I contacted Gauld Nurseries and Alexandra got back to me within minutes confirming they had the tree my son was looking for, again great customer service. Gauld Nurseries has the variety of plants and trees that would suit everyone...it's worth the drive to Gauld Nurseries.

What a local gem! I received a gift certificate recently for a memorial tree and needing an oak, this nursery had everything we were looking for and more! Starting with an email to inquire, a speedy response, great feedback and then a productive and successful visit to select our red oak tree! The staff are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I gave 5 stars based on the quality of the plants mainly. The prices are reasonable for what you get. If you need any trees or bushes, make Gauld your first stop! Lots of selection and everything is healthy looking.

BEST heirloom tomato varieties and great selection of everything else They are the only nursery in the niagara area to carry varieties like oxheart and black krim. All the plants are cheaper and better quality than in places like sunshine express. This is a hidden gem in my opinion. They have a huge selection of trees and shrubs which is great.

Excellent service during the lockdown, I ordered online and with much discussion via email I picked up a beautiful Cornelian Cherry that is native to the area and that birds love, also a pair of stunning Red Twig Dogwood, and to round out the feast for the Birds, Bees and Butterflies a lovely Service Berry... Curbside pick up was easy and the shrubs chosen by the staff are amazing specimen's .

We recently had Gould (Alex) design and install our front yard landscape beds. We listened and trusted Alex's suggestions for low maintenance but high impact planting. We have more to do but will only use Gauld. They have healthy plants and take an interest in providing the end result you only wish for. Don't hesitate to use Gauld with Alex designing.

Started good, but they had a hard time returning calls. I text them finally after making three requests, all of which never got returned, to tell them I won't be doing business with them. The three requests were as follows; 1. Sent a picture of an outdoor fireplace, that they said they would quote. No answer. 2. Wanted to change up my garden, which they said they would come an take a look in a week. No response. 3. Called to ask about redoing my mother's gardens, and was told they would call me right back, after they finished with a client. No response. Lost money for them - >$65k Oh well, I hired a new company and the work is now completed to everyone's satisfaction.

After custom building our home in Ridgeway we began the labour intense search for a well established and highly recommended landscaper/nursery. Upon recommendation we researched and visited Gauld Nursery where we had the pleasure of dealing with Alejandra Castro. She listened carefully to our ideas and vision, and before long we knew she was the person we wanted to deal with. Her guidance/suggestions in choosing trees and plants for our property was spot on. She was also instrumental in designing a 15 foot circular patio with a surrounding perennial garden and beautiful walkway with wide low steps leading to our deck and terrace. Her team worked hard and steady checking in with both ourselves and Alejandra on a regular basis making sure everything was to our satisfaction. Alejandro herself made several visits to the worksite during the two week period to ensure everything was going according to plan and to chat with us making sure we were happy with the progress. It will be one year this July and everything is looking wonderful, our plants are healthy and the trees are growing quickly as we were told they would. Without question we made the right choice, not just in the trees and plants we chose, but in Gauld Nursery and their staff. My husband and I highly recommend Gauld Nursery, it was a pleasant experience and beautiful end result.

Great selection and quality of product. Prices are fair and, given the quality, i think they are really good value. You pay the same price as somewhere else but you get better product. The selection is huge and you can find all sorts of variations and colours. If you need help finding something or getting advice, they staff is there to assist. There's no point going anywhere else, this is the place for me in Niagara region.

Very bad service, couldn't find anyone to help me for the longest time and then when I did get directions towards what I wanted they didn't have it properly labeled. Entrance was confusing as hell ended up having to reverse several feet haphazardly (maybe put a frickin parking lot sign up). Left without buying anything and am currently waiting for another nursery to open at noon.

Terrible service.we asked for a price quote.they gave us a price initially and then increased it drastically after 2 weeks and dint get back to us for 2 weeks.we kept calling and waiting and they kept giving excuses and at the end they said they are charging more because they made a mistake in the price and now we are left with our backyard undone and winter coming close.really disappointed.will not be goin back ever.

I was very disappointed at there customer service. They do not honor guarantees on their plants. I was told the shrubs I purchased would be guaranteed 1 yr. I bought several scrubs and soil and root boost mulch and followed all planting instruction 100%, 2 of the shrubs did not grow and look very dwarfed to the others and are very distracting to my landscaping at the front of my house. ..they did not agree to replace the 2 shrubs, suggesting they "MAY" RECOVER AS THEY WHERE NOT COMPLETELY DEAD" SO I AM STUCK WITH WAITING TO SEE IF THESE PLANTS RECOVER AND GROW UNIFORMLY WITH THE OTHERS, ALL PLANTED IN A ROW. THE COST to them would have been next to nothing to replace these plants as per their guarantee.. i was going to buy further schrubs and trees for my property but will no longer deal with them given their attitude on honoring their guarantee on repacement of unhealthy schrubs that did not survive far less than 1 yr. After following planting instructions and purchasing quality soil, fertizer, mulch.

We had all our trees put in over 20 years ago by Gauld and they all still look great ! Maples, Birch, Red bud, Mock Orange, French Lilac. About 8 years ago we started doing Wedding ceremonies in the garden and the mature canopy of trees from Gauld's Nurseries is perfect !
