I had a great meal at the Grant Hall Hotel, Little Chicago Steakhouse & Grill. The ribeye was cooked to perfection with a wonderful peppercorn sauce. Good service!

The Ambience is great, the food came within a good space from each other. The food tasted very good. The service was okay. The main reason I'm disappointed is because I had called and booked a reservation stating it was my partners bday, they said they would provide a cake or something. I then pulled the waiter aside after the meal to remind him, again I got a nod. We didn't even get a candle in the dessert we ordered or a discount on the meal. I was told by 3 people something would happen for my boyfriends birthday. Instead I paid way too much for an over priced meal.

Absolutely loved our visit. If you want to eat in the dining room make a reservation, though the lounge was awesome. The food was delicious, and our server was amazing. The creme brulee was the best I've ever had- and I have had too many. Highly recommend!

The atmosphere was 'fine dining'. My wife and I had an amazing meal. The surf and turf was very good, the scallops were sweet and tender. The dining room was beautifully done. And the server we had was knowledgeable and quick. Great place to go for a fancy meal.

Service was slow, we barely had any service. Went around 1330, lunch time, there was maybe two other tables with people. One table cleared out shortly after we sat down. So you're looking at two tables in the whole place that they had to serve. Took them forever to fill our water or even come by, they were pretty standoffish as well. I had a salad, it was drenched in dressing. Price was ok for lunch, others at my table enjoyed their meal. Decor is very nice. Service is atrocious.

A very cool location. We had a party of 8 so were seated in a side room by ourselves, which is totally fine, but it seemed like we were forgetten about a few times. The dining experience is definitely a slow one (totally fine!)... We were there for almost three hours between cocktails, appys, meal and desserts. Most of the guests said their food was delicious. Three of us got the steak special of the evening and found that all of them were overcooked past our liking and very bland and underseasoned. Our waitress didn't come back for 20 mins after serving them, so we just ate them. Overall, we had a great visit, the special was just a little lacking! I would come back and give it another chance for sure.

Wonderful dining experience on our anniversary. The food was made to perfection and good portion sizes as well! Definitely recommend trying the Funky Monkey or S’mores desserts - unlike anything we’ve ever had before! Loved it.

I would highly recommend the Grant Hall Dining Room. It's been a long time since I had a meal this good. It was our first visit here, but it won't be the last. Love the decor. Our server Kristine was wonderful. She took excellent care of us. If you're in Moose Jaw and are looking for a nice dinner out don't pass the Grant Hall Dining Room up.

I first made a reservation for my bf’s birthday and when we got there on time they had already given our table away. Then we waited a half hour for a server. We ordered steaks and added the crab and asparagus topping ( Neptune). When my boyfriend got his he found a hair in his potatoes so they took it back and when he got it back they topped it with imitation crab pollock as opposed to the real crab it was supposed to come with. The total for the evening was $226 and was just terrible from start to finish....I called and complained and received $100 gift card which I haven’t used yet. Not impressed at all.....

What. The. Heck. Demonstrating again that a gorgeous, classy interior simply can't compensate for poorly done food. This was the worst meal we've had in MJ. Actually, it was the worst meal we've had in a while, anywhere (including fast food). Our server was helpful and knowledgeable, that's about it. My wife's escargot was dumped on the plate cold and salty. My salad had not a single fresh ingredient. Our steaks were lukewarm and overcooked. I ordered $15 of whiskey and received barely enough to cover the bottom of the glass. Half a pinky's width, maybe. Dessert was over-sweet and tasted *cheap*. We were shocked. HARD PASS.

WOW ~.~. What a GORGEOUS, STUNNING Hotel. I did not expect such depth of luxurious furnishing decor. Very tastefully done. Such rich textures of a multitude of fabric, woods, Crystal, chandeliers etc. Even the bathrooms were Ahhhhh jaw dropping. I felt I was in a castle in Europe which we have visited. We were welcomed with open arms to come in and have a look around at our free will. They encouraged us to look to our hearts content. I just wanted to sit and linger in such luxurious atmosphere. We will definately stay here our next visit to Moose Jaw.

We went for supper on a Tuesday night. It was not busy. We had two servers. We had to WAIT for everything. One person did not get a napkin. Soup for one was served as soon as he got his beer. It was lukewarm. The other soup was served after that was taken away. Three dinners were brought in and then we waited for the last one. The food was o.k. but not hot. We waited and waited for the one dessert to be delivered & finally asked for it to go. We are from out of province & have been here before. The prices have gone up but the service has gone down. You are paying for the setting. That will be our last visit.

I went the first time to try it; it was my birthday and my wife took me; we were so unsatisfied that we got chicken nuggets afterwards. However i am a forgiving person so a year later i gave them a second chance; our service was horrible they forgot half our meal and the half that we did get was cold and i am pretty sure they used boxed mashed potatoes(i would have rather eaten the box).

Had dinner in the lounge from the lounge menu. Very good food and the service outstanding. We shared the calamari, crab cakes, side winter salad and dry-rub wings. It was plenty of food and all of it very tasty.

The Grant Hall has beautiful decor with all the classic touches. The restaurant is lovely with a nod to relaxed fine dining. This is the place for the elegant take your time and enjoy your meal . Truly an enjoyable experience.

I have eaten here three times. The first was for a weekend brunch and the food was so very good! I looked forward to coming back. Then I came for my anniversary. The restaurant was not busy, yet we were virtually ignored. Getting our server's attention for a refill on drinks was a pain, and no one came to check on us throughout the meal or to offer a dessert menu. In order to pay we had to leave our table and stand by the front counter. We had waited a long time for the bill before we finally did that. Because I had had one good experience and one poor, I went a third time for a tie-breaker. I wish I could say it was a good experience, but it was not. We came at lunch and there was one other table seated. Somehow, the wait times between being seated, ordering, getting our food were ridiculous. We were there for 1.5 hours for simple lunch fair in an empty restaurant and could not get the wait staff's attention for ketchup for our fries or water or anything. I would only recommend going there for weekend brunch. Then you can serve yourself and not rely on what seems to be extremely slow and unattentive service.

Room was unique, classy and clean! Great experience due to the historical contrast to "modern" rooms. Craftsmen, er, I mean craftspersons, fashioned every piece of antique furniture in our room and the straw filled bed was awesome! (kidding about straw ????) Our bizness trip felt like an adventure for that night, thank you Grant Hall!
