Like a number of people i didn't have much knowledge about the different types of window products available in todays market, then I called PELLA Windows and dealt with their representative Mr. Josh Kane. I cant say enough about his knowledge and patience. He walked me through the product and styles and helped me to get the best product. i would recommend Josh Kane to anyone. 5 star rating from my family and I would refer him to anyone without hesitation. We've gone to Pella for different window replacements a few times over the years. We've always been very happy with the quality and the service. The windows are beautiful and we haven't had any problems with them. Jeff P. came to help with our most recent window replacement. He was great! Very helpful and friendly. I would definitely recommend Pella to friends & family.
Hi John , I cannot thank you enough for coming to see us. It is indeed an honour meeting you. Your friendliness and professionalism is commendable. We will take your advice into consideration in regards to our front window. I would recommend Fella to all of our friends and acquaintances. Thank you Fella for having John on board. His skills, knowledge and personality represents the quality and standard of your entity. ????
Love working with Pella. Great product, construction protection on windows is great, our service rep marek is always on top of things. Thumbs up
Katie was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Super helpful and no high-pressure tactics.
I knew of Pella's great reputation before I began looking for replacement windows, but I was still surprised by the quality of the product for the price. We were certain wood windows wouldn't be in our budget, but they were and even saved us a bit of money. The windows are gorgeous and beyond expectation. Our sales person and delivery process were all pleasant and professional.
The whole experience of having all our windows and doors replaced by Pella was completely satisfactory with no surprises. From initial contact with Herb in Sales and coming up with a fair pricing agreement to keeping us regularly updated with status to the installation by Ted and Roman and the final walkthrough upon completion, we were delighted at every step. Our thanks
Don't deal with this company They are much too smart for you
Stop paying for all Crunchyrolls ad space it's not helping you or your company and it's honestly just pissing me off. I'm sure there are many other flaws with your company too. PLZ EXPLODE!!!
The windows and doors themselves look fine in the end - but the installation process and customer service are so bad it’s almost comical. First our “confirmed” install date was bumped - annoying when trying to coordinate a renovation. Then when the delivery truck arrived the driver accidentally backed the truck up into the corner of our roof and broke off the eavestrough (we had to source someone to come repair and repaint the eavestrough and they said they’ll credit our account). When the installers were done we realized that one half of the garden doors were made for one width of wall, and the other half were made for another width of wall - nothing lined up - it looked totally ridiculous. The doors we’d waited nearly two months for had to be made over again from scratch - more delays to work around. Then if that wasn’t enough, we discovered that some of the windows were missing the retractable “invisible” screens that are supposed to be built right into the windows. Then - now this one I found crazy - the installer told us he was missing a few screws and couldn’t secure the top portions of the single hung windows. Pella installers can’t just keep a few extra screws in their truck - just in case? Then we realized that the garden doors opened the wrong way - we’d asked for the door on the RIGHT to open and be the “primary door” not the door on the left - I double checked the agreement and the email communications specifying this to make sure I wasn’t mistaken before calling my sales rep to tell him about this mistake. He told me that I “must have called him at some point and asked him to switch the primary door from right to left” because he “would not have just randomly switched it from what we had agreed upon in the contract”. I asked if he had any evidence or even any recollection of this alleged conversation and he said he did not (because he was obviously lying to cover up yet another screw up). He reordered the doors so they would open the way specified in our agreement - but wasn’t apologetic about doing it - he acted as though it was a favour. If everything had been made right the second time around I’d have given Pella 3 stars or maybe even 4 stars because the windows and doors themselves do look nice. However things went from bad to worse. The replacement doors arrived - they had no record whatsoever of the missing retractable screens and screws we needed AND - believe it or not - NEW pieces were missing as well. The replacement doors were missing adjoining pieces along the seams on both the inside and outside I was told - and some pieces were not stained as they should have been. The installer provided the installation manager a complete detailed list of what was missing. I’ve been dealing with 5 people at Pella - trying to get someone to come and install the missing parts - and every time I speak with them no one seems to have any record of what pieces are still missing. Every time I speak with someone there I have to give the same information over again and am asked to take photos of the missing pieces. We paid a small fortune for these doors and windows (probably 10 times more than had we gone with less expensive options) and we went with Pella because we thought Pella was top quality. It’s not. Finally we get an install date for the missing screens - I just want my windows and doors to be DONE - so I push the floor installation date forward to accommodate the date Pella gives me. I wait ALL DAY for the Pella installer to come - he calls me at 3pm and says he is knocking on the door but no one is home - I realize he’s at the wrong address - the company gave him the wrong address he says - I’m a block away, so I give him directions. He arrives and tells me that because of the “address mix up” he now no longer has time to install the missing screens and other missing pieces and we need to reschedule. I was livid. I call the company, they AGAIN ask me what pieces are missing and ask me to take photos of the missing pieces. All we wanted was what we ordered - nothing more, nothing less.
Nick Jonk was helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Made the complicated process simple and quick.
I called Pella to quote on replacing 3 of my Pella Windows. Their sales consultant, Katie Martin not only provided me with an informative quote, she helped me understand the windows more and that it may be more appropriate to service them. I felt like the company was really taking care of me, not milking me for money. Nice to see that there are quality organizations and people like Katie out there.
Worst call center service ever! I hope they can training employees to learn how to answer a phone.
September7/2019THE WORST COMPANY I'VE WORKED WITH AND THE WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER! EPISODE ONE I had contacted Pella one year ago to replace the windows at our cottage and it has been one big disappointment. Sale representative Herb Lee was very unprofessional and made a lot of mistakes. This year I decided to give Pella one more chance and contacted him to order another window for the cottage. I was already waiting for something to go wrong as last time and decided to send our sale representative an email one month prior to the installation reminding him that scaffoldings would be needed to install the window. As expected; the installers (which were very nice and professional )came without any scaffoldings and I had to call around to find a local contractor that would rent it us a set. During the installation it became clear that inside and outside trim was missing. After lengthly phone conversations with the install department and main office we found out that the trim required was not even ordered!. The installation team left and left us with an unfinished window. The local contractor told me that he will finish the outside work. I'm wondering who is responsible for all these mistakes that are being made over and over again. It is absolutely unacceptable for your company to work in this manner and repeatedly make such amateur mistakes! EPISODE TWO. The saga with internal trim is developing. Today September 7th 2019, twelve months since I mentioned the trim was we are still waiting on the installation. We are communicating with Florence Sharp but she is not of much help. Her answer to all of my questions and concerns is “I will talk with Martin”. The installers finally showed up with one part of the trim, but the other part was not ordered. This is getting ridiculous and almost comical. Apparently they finally found all the parts and made a date to finish the work. I drove from Toronto to my cottage specifically for this appointment; and nobody showed up, no phone call, no apologies, NOTHING! I am fed up with this horrible company, our next communication will be from my lawyer. TATIANA MANOUKOVSKI
Pleasant staff
Pella Windows is state of the art in windows , not only because of the quality and aesthetics but for the exceptional service, professionalism and knowledgeable staff. Trevor Panos upholds Pella’s incredible reputation and customer service. He was an extraordinary representative of the firm, and his knowledge, loyalty and great attitude impressed me! I felt like Trevor was part of my family, as he wanted the best choice for me, and helped to simplify and reduce my worries about a very stressful home project! Lili Roman Thut
Ian Kennedy is the best guy to deal with at Pella! Excellent customer service and very experienced! Highly recommended! A++++++++++++++++
Excellent customer service with knowledgeable staff. A pleasure!
Pella Windows were an amazing experience from start to finish. Starting with our sales rep Trevor. We had an video appt with him and his presentation was slick using Webex. We went in thinking we knew what we wanted, and he made a couple of really good suggestions that made a HUGE difference. We had to sign the contracts with Wally in the store and he was a delight to deal with. For the installation, we were told they would be here between 8-10am and they showed up at 8:03am. Very impressive. The installation took most of the day, and the team were careful to keep doors shut on the rooms they were installing the windows in to minimize the cold (it was one of the coldest days of the year). They also made sure they cleaned up after the installation. The windows are quite nice. We would totally suggest everyone to use Pella.
Josh, the Pella sales representative, was very informative about the whole window mechanics and gave us some suggestions based on our requirements. We told him we had visited the showroom where Wally showed us the different types of windows and how each of them worked. I’m glad that we did it because it gave us a better idea of what we wanted. Thanks for your 5 star quality service, Josh & Wally!
Absolutely terrific service from Josh Karen, our sales rep, to the installers and the office staff. First class all the way
They do good work, good attitude, pleasant to deal with.
We were very happy with our experience with Pella and their door products. Josh Kane is our Retail Sales Consultant and we found him to be personable, informative and knowledgeable about what Pella had to offer. He was helpful and answered all of our questions and showed us a good idea via tablet what our new door would look like. On a side note, the tablet and software is dated, Josh needs a new one as the program wouldn't include all the details of our door! Pella, get on that!! Overall, great products; all of our windows and patio doors are Pella too from 15 years ago and are still in excellent condition.
I am surprised by these positive feedbacks! This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. 1- Started with a poor installation, they left the alarm sensor wires hanging inside the windows. During the installation I brought up my concern about those ugly wires sticking out, they told me “Don’t worry the alarm guys will fix this!” The alarm company told me the wires should have been placed outside of the windows! Now we are stuck with these unsightly wires and have to pay for re-wiring and installation of new alarm sensors. 2- The window screen was faulty from the start and the plastic grommet that holds the screen is already broken. 3- My biggest problem: The windows have the poorest sound insulation. All the street noise is transferred into the rooms. 4- The windows appear to be made of cheap material and are certainly of much lower quality compared to other windows in my house. 3- Worst of all, Pella’s customer service is a joke. Good luck getting any answers from them. It’s been one year of chasing them and numerous communications and empty promises. They could not care less about their customers. Their final answer was “you have the option to pay us extra if you want better quality/those problems get fixed!” I feel totally ripped off, I paid a premium price for these cheep and low quality windows. Stay clear at all costs if you value your money, time, and your nerves.
My sales rep was great. She was friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I am happy with the product and I found the price reasonable. The installers did a good job. They took my old windows and blinds with them when they left and did a nice job with the new trim they installed. I didn't have to do anything. I would recommend Pella to anyone looking for a quality product at a reasonable price.
Wally was able to provide me with valuable information about Pella for my home window/door near future replacement. Having to make decisions on my own, Wally's help and knowledge put me at ease and no question or requested explanation was too much for him. I did take up a lot of Wally's time this morning, but thankful for the attention given me, the customer
Door installation completed in window promised by Pella. Very please with follow up service to resolve issue with dead bolt.
the in-home consultation I did with John Alexander really gave me a great idea of what I could get. John was extremely thorough and the window he ordered was measured perfectly. the software they have to show you what the window will look like was very impressive. The fact that installation was included with the purchase price was the major selling point. Anthony did a fantastic installation where the best part decides how good it looked was how fast the installation was completed. I'll absolutely order more windows from Pella.
Seeking premium wood replacement windows for a traditional home, I first visited the Pella showroom and was impressed by the quality of the many window offerings as well as the store representative. My subsequent home appointment for an estimate was handled by Joshua Kane, a knowledgeable, experienced, and respectful consultant who easily appraised the style and quality I wanted which would be compatible with other upgrades made to my house over the years. A person who takes time to listen is capable of making suggestions a client might not have considered, especially in the case of a company like Pella with a wide range of styles. Mr. Kane's personable manner made his visit a pleasure as well as an instructional experience. Almost made me want to embark on even more renovations!
We chose Pella because we believe it’s one of the most reputable window companies in the market. When we met with their Toronto sales representative, he emphasized on Pella’s quality of products and service. Disappointingly, we’ve run into several and very significant problems since our new windows were installed: 1. The sales representative didn’t give the office the right color of flashing and the installation had to be postponed; 2. The installation dates were May 1-3. However, the installers appeared without previous notice on Saturday May 4 to finish the job. Luckily, there was someone in the house who had to cancel their plans so she could let them in; 3. We got the wrong glass on one of our windows, there were missing caps on another and sloppy caulking on one of them; 4. We booked June 3 to replace the wrong glass; however, it was cancelled on the same day and again without notice; 5. Another appointment was booked for June 11. On this day, the team never called to inform they were late for the scheduled time (8am-10am). Instead, they arrived after 11:30am and extra arrangements had to be made so someone could open the house for them. They installed the missing caps, but couldn’t fix the sloppy caulking because they didn’t bring the right color; 6. The team showed up again without previous notice on June 14 to fix the caulking; 7. We booked June 24th to fix the wrong glass, but the team showed up without the correct replacement and had to leave without fixing it; 8. We’re currently waiting for a third appointment to replace the glass and still don’t have an ETA. We understand that the house renovation business is sometimes unpredictable, but more than unpredictability, we’ve experience what feels like disorganization and lack of communication from Pella. The great service we were expecting hasn’t been true to what’s was promoted to us and we’re incredibly disappointed. Adding insult to injury, we have had to take time off work to accommodate installers... and probably will have to do so again! As if that wasn't enough... their communication has been incredibly effective (borderline harassment) when it comes to collecting payment for a job that still hasn't been completed!
UPDATE: Unfortunately, our process of having our windows installed has not been as seemless as we were promised. We have had to deal with last minute cancellations, changes and product not being in stock, twice now. Fortunately, my work has been very understanding and my husband and I have been able to be flexible, but it has felt very disorganized and disappointing with how these situations have been handled. Especially when we have to book time off work, and having contractors booked to have things ready for the installations (removal of blinds, as per Pella's request). The team who has installed half of our project have been very nice, and they work well, but the customer service side of things have been disappointing to say the least. April 2019: We have yet to have them installed, but as first timers, Pella has made the process very easy and to our scheduling. Dale Kline was more than helpful in helping me create the vision we were looking for, all while helping us save money. We are very excited to have our new front door and windows!
Excellent service!
Go with Pella if you are looking for a horrible customer service experience. I had windows installed; the sales guy was good, but once my deposit was paid everything went downhill. I never once heard from the project manager, who did not show up on the day of the install and never collected the rest of the payment. 3 months later I have Pella admin staff calling me, cap in hand, asking for the remaining payment without any acknowledgment of the total lack of communication. When I used Renewal by Andersen a half year prior, they had two PM's there on the day of the install, and they followed-up a few days later to confirm that everything was still fine with the product and install. I just wanted some level of acknowledgement that the project did not go as promised to me. One of my screens was quickly damaged so I asked if they would consider replacing it to help nudge me to consider sticking with Pella for the last stage of my project. This request was denied.
I am a bit surprised when I read the reviews here , we had an installation with Pella last week, they were very professional. The installers were on time , they changed all 3 windows we requested in one day and they worked very clean. I know they might be more expensive but I am very happy with their job.
Accidentally broke the glass in our patio door (actually in the side panel of the patio door. Contacted Pella Service for a replacement glass and although I was told this is not a problem on the phone, I just now received an email from a different person explaining the glass "cannot be replaced for this Door vintage" and enclosing a quote for a complete replacement door unit instead at $2496.46 plus tax plus "estimated" $1200 labor plus tax - so total around $4,174.74. Needless to say we have a local glass company who unsurprisingly find no problem in replacing the glass - at a fraction of the price of the expert at Pella "Service". Thank you for your assistance Pella.
When an issue occurred with our sliding door, the service department at Pella was extremely courteous and helpful to redirect our call to the appropriate service area. When Mike, the service agent, arrived he was on time and very professional with a great knowledge of the product. We have had and continue to have a great experience with this company and are very satisfied with the products and service we have been given!
What an incredibly thorough first-time buying experience. Katie came to our home with samples of everything and made it easy to do business with Pella . Then, the gentleman who came to review and measure was very knowledgeable and we knew that we were dealing with a very professional organization.
Bought 25K in Pella windows when rebuilding my house. I love the product but their people are very unprofessional and they don't know what customer service is at all. One window arrived damaged - I sent photos the day I opened the box and 6 months later still no resolution. They failed to send one screen and crank cover which were also missing from the order - again, I've been bounced between our salesperson, his boss and service and no one actually sends the parts. Our sales person washed his hands of the transaction as soon as he was paid and refers us to Pella service, who, as far as I can tell don't serve anyone. I like the windows, they look good inside and out, but you're on your own if anything goes wrong. Very disappointed by the experience. Follow up - better late than never. Pella finally got around to sending their painting contractor to fix the ding in the window frame and provide the missing parts. It took a while but I’m happy with the final product.
We were very pleased with the service and love the product. The installers were excellent!
I choose Pella based on the company's reputation of high quality premium products and services. My experience over the last 6 months have been aggravating and disappointing. At every step in the process, there were problems, cut corners and delays. Problem #1 - Poor communication, coordination, and follow through - Miscommunication and poor coordination meant that I was following up with Pella 4 times and did not get the brick work done as promised, causing delay to our renovation. Pella hired a subcontractor who was not informed about the scope of the job and tried to charge extra for the work that Pella was being paid to do. Problem #2 - Not taking care of their garbage After brick removed for door, the contractor left a pile of garbage for us to deal with. Most contractors we worked with are responsible for their own garbage. Again, we had to call several times before they finally removed it. Problem #3 - Multiple installation deficiencies After the windows and doors were installed, there were 8 deficiencies ranging from random holes left in the doors, one of the windows just didn't even open, misalignment in the screen window. The front door didn't close properly unless we jammed it in. This is NOT what you expect for a premium product/install. Shortcuts were taken and we had to point it out for them to fix it. Where was the quality control? Problem #4 - Deficiencies still outstanding We had our first meeting with Pella on Feb 8. It is now Aug 6, eight months later, and the job is still not done. There is still outstanding work. Problem #5 - Too many people In the whole process, we had to deal with so many people from Pella. The person who gave the quote, the person who made measurements, the installer, the project manager, the subcontractor(s), the first repair team, the second repair team, there may be a third repair team now ... I gave two stars out of five because the initial representative, Will Molnar, was very thorough and knowledgeable and answered all my questions, followed up and was helpful. Our project manager Kathy was also responsive and available.
Josh Kane's energy and knowledge sold us on what we already knew was a quality product. He walked us through the various options and secured us an installation date - can't wait to see the finished product.
We have had good experience with Pella before and wanted to upgrade windows in our bedroom. Herb Lee responded quickly and professionally. He had records of previous purchases and helped design a good concept. The windows were delivered and installed on time and the install team did a flawless job. We are pleased with the result and give a strong recommendation.
From start to finish, we had a very pleasant experience with Pella. Jeff Provis, our sales rep, was not only extremely professional and knowledgeable, but also very patient. At no point did he pressure us into making a decision. Rather, he took the time to explain to us our window options, as well as answer all of our questions and concerns. We were beyond impressed with the installers, Ted and Roman, who came to replace our windows. They were organized, quick and clean, and also extremely polite and respectful. We highly recommend Pella and can’t say enough about Jeff, Ted and Roman.
We have been pleased with the service and quality of work. Our salesperson, Jeff, was super.
Just had a set of 3 panel patio sliding doors installed 2 weeks ago. Our sales rep John Alexander went above and beyond to assure us a satisfactory result Pella is not the cheapest product out there but I am a firm believer in "you get what you pay for" Oh I almost forgot the installation by Ahmed and his assistant was first class in every way and we could not be happier with the finished product.
We decided to replace all our outdated front windows and doors both for efficiency reasons and aestethics. We chose Pella because of their renowned reputation for quality durability and efficiency. Josh Kane our sales person brilliantly navigated us through the process of the myriad selections required to make a final decision. His vast experience and expertise made the choices and decision a stressless and comfortable process. We were also concerned about the difficulty and disruptive nature of the installation process. Our installers were incredible ! Paul and Ryan completed the job (which included the rebuilding of a two storey bay window ) in only three days and pristinely cleaned up the site at the end of each day. Paul was particularly creative and even artistic especially for the bay window. Thank you Josh Paul and Ryan
Start to finish, unbelievable experience. We have done a lot of reno’s to our home over the years and this may have been the smoothest. From the beginning, Josh Kane was informative and knowledgeable and you can easily see he truly loves his job and believes in his product. Paul and his partner did an incredible install. They were clean, precise and very friendly. Pella truly lived up to the hype in every way. It’s easy to see why they are one of the premier window companies.
My house has Pella windows throughout. My sliding glass doors required replacement. Pella team took accurate measurements then installed 4 months later due to Covid supply chain bottleneck. They installed with perfection & did not incur any damage to my fresh paint around the frame. They left the premises in a clean professional manner. I was so pleased I ordered a second sliding glass door for basement walk out to be installed in February 2022. Great sales & installation team. Highly recommend Pella.
I recently decided to replace my windows and patio doors. Based on Pella's reputation for quality, I contacted the Pella Toronto location, wondering if they would be able to supply and install their product even though I live in a small community outside the GTA. From the first contact with Pella Toronto by phone, I was impressed. The representative set up an in home consultation for me right away. My phone call was followed up by an email and then a personal email from Victoria, the consultant who would be coming to my home. Replacing windows/doors is a big investment and I appreciate the opportunity for an in home visit vs. online ordering. Upon meeting Victoria, I was impressed. She is extremely personable and professional. Her knowledge about the Pella products was super helpful and she was able to answer all my questions and provided some very helpful design information as well. Not once during my consultation did I feel rushed or pressured in any way. To my surprise, she was able to provide me with a quote right away. After my consultation, I had a few more question and Victoria responded in a very timely manner and provided all the answers I was looking for. She even went out of her way to attend my home for a 2nd time. I am looking forward to receiving my Pella windows and doors and can't thank Victoria enough for making the in-home experience so pleasant and easy and allowing me to make an informed decision on a big investment.
I love the product, but the servicing takes too long and is quite expensive.
We were hesitant at first to go with Pella as we had a bunch of quotes half the price from other companies. The sales rep Will Molnar took his time and explained the difference between their windows and the competitors vinyl . Not only that but they also offered us an easy payment plan over 3 years which was amazing because we had a whole bunch of other renovations to do at the house and now we can. The experience was top notch ( I would compare it to a high end car dealership experience) . We did pay a pretty penny for our windows but we are so glad we chose Pella as our house now looks amazing. Thank You Will and team and I will definitely be recommending you to our family and friends
We replaced six large windows in the house about 3 years ago and replace the final three sets of double hung windows along the upper back of the house in October. The house was originally built with Pella windows about 46 or47 years ago apparently and the old windows held up well. We wanted to continue with Pella product as it is higher end and in keeping with the style of our home. We have no regrets after the installations. The windows are weather proof and the view through them (even with the screened portions of the windows) is spectacular. We have had awnings on our house for several years but it appears that the technology of these windows is such that we no longer require our awnings which is a bonus now that I am not overly keen about using a long ladder to take care of that task! Service was great and the installers are very professional. Very happy overall!
I love my new Pella door and I had such a great experience with Pella. Initially, I went to the store on Bayview Avenue where I was greeted by smiling and eager to please Wally who gave me an appointment. The sales consultant who came to my home, John Alexander, basically picked the door for me and it’s a match made in heaven. This elegant door blends harmoniously well with my house and enhances its look from the outside as well as the inside. And I have so much more natural light in the house. Thanks John! You did great! I also want to thank the installers, Paul Rouzes and his nephew, who were both very pleasant and professional. They did an excellent job and left everything clean behind them. The door is beautifully crafted, chic yet sturdy. It exudes quality and excellent workmanship. I feel fantastic about my purchase and my experience, and most of all… I LOVE my new door! Thank you all!
Sales Rep (Josh) -5/5 Installation - 1/5 Customer Service 5/5 We purchased a new fiberglass door and three wood windows from Pella in the middle of the Covid pandemic. The sales rep (Josh) was very knowledgeable and was a pleasure to work with - I'd recommend him to anyone, no doubt about it. Unfortunately, the installation experience was a complete fiasco. One of the windows arrived from the factory with a broken sash, the installer told me (incorrectly) that our door set was incompatible with the new door, he drilled a hole for the handle in the wrong spot in the door, spent most of the afternoon on his cellphone, then left early without doing any of the outdoor flashing or caulking. The next day he didn't even show up to finish the job, so I had to call Pella (special thanks to Bonnie at head office) so they could send out a different crew to finish the install properly. Despite the problems with the initial install, post-installation customer service was impeccable. They replaced or repaired every issue to our full satisfaction, and checked in repeatedly to let us know the timelines and to make sure we were happy. Despite the issues with the initial install I would recommend Pella to anyone.
I feel confident in recommending Pella Windows & Doors of Toronto. All the folks, from sales to installation, were courteous and a delight to work with. They were incredibly helpful, and took time to address our concerns. Thank you Trevor, Lynda, Ted and Norman!!! My family and I really appreciate your work ethics and we wish you much success!!!
We are very pleased with the installation of our new front door. Katie Martin did a great job of explaining features and benefits and guiding us with our selections. The install team was very thorough and the before and after communication was excellent. We would certainly use Pella again.
Katie Martin, our sales consultant, did an outstanding job walking us through the various material options, features, and pros and cons of each. She was very professional and seemed to have our best interests in mind. She was the reason we went with Pella. The patio sliding doors we selected were installed on the date as promised. The installation was done with very high quality and the attention to detail exceeded expectations. Overall, we are very pleased with the entire experience. We highly recommend making Pella one of your vendor options while searching for doors or windows.
John Alexander was really great to work with and helped us determine the best solution for our project. We look forward to a great install by the Pella team.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HORRIBLE COMPANY !!!!!!!!!!!!! I SENT AN EMAIL AS THEY ASKED ME TO DO BUT NOT RESPONSE!!!
Not sure how this company is in business. Worst customer service. Total lack of professionalism and totally disorganized. Buy from somewhere else. Don't even waste your time
We installed Pella windows 20 years ago when renovating our home and have been very happy with them. However, we never changed the bay window in the living room because we were afraid of losing the character of the warm wood trim and original hardware. This cold winter forced us to reconsider and I am so pleased that we did. Our sales rep Jeff Provis was so helpful when selecting the style of the windows and the right finishes. The Early American Stain and the old style hardware he recommended are perfect. The greatest compliment is that it is difficult to realize that the windows were changed other than the crystal clear view out of undistorted glass and the warmth. Tom from Pella came by and verified all the measurements and Viktor Hlynsky’s very efficient and personable team installed the windows quickly and cleaned up everything afterwards. I am happy to recommend a company that not only has a great product but great people to ensure your project is a success.
Incredible company with great service and outstanding products. Our rep Will Molnar has been great work with -- extremely thorough, timely and professional. We have been slowly installing Pella windows in our 150 year old Victorian home over the years and the quality of product and service in every arena has been second to none. Get it done right the first time and go to Pella for your windows!
We. We’re very happy with our experience with Pelli and their doors. Katie Martin our sales consultant came to our house a few days after we visited the showroom on Bayview. She reviewed the different types of doors with us. Very patient with us even when we decided to change the style within a few days. The installation took place the Friday before Christmas. It went very smoothly. The call before by the coordinator to let us know the arrival time by the installers. The installers were professional. We’re very please with our experience with our company. You cCompany came a Recommended by a friend and you
We felt completely taken advantage of. After being nothing but flexible with MULTIPLE last minute changes, we finally had our final windows and front door installed on Saturday. When the day was coming to a close, the lead man on the job came in to tell me that it was done, and that he needed my signature. When I looked at our windows, the inside casing was no where to be seen. When I asked him where it was, he simply said that they were not given the product to install, to which I responded, "so the job is NOT done then.." He had no answer for me except that I can call the sales rep on Monday morning, as they were closed for the weekend. He then proceeded to complain that he took the time to come in on his weekend (WHEN IT WAS HIS DOCTORS APPOINTMENT THAT SWITCHED THE INSTALLATION DAY FROM A FRIDAY TO A SATURDAY LAST MINUTE) and then complained of how heavy the glass window was.. not sure how this is my issue, as I simply purchased what the sales rep sold me. He fully tried to just walk out and not do anything about it, and Pella has not been successful in contacting me with any kind of resolution as of yet, even after my multiple phone calls and messages. See the pictures below of how they left my house, and what they consider "COMPLETE". Absolutely disgraceful. I would also like to point out that this is my first time leaving a google review on any experience, but since Pella asked me to review it when I first hired them, I felt obliged to let others know to be wary before hiring them. I would most definitely go a different route knowing what I know now.
Just completed our Pella renovation and could not be more pleased with the quality of the windows and service. Spoke with other manufacturers but chose Pella primarily as a result of Graham Climie whose performance and professionalism met every expectation. Highly recommend and will continue to support Pella/Toronto. R. Sniderman
Despite receiving other estimates by email and which were cheaper, we decided to go with Pella. Your professionalism and trip up to see us personally (none of the other companies made an effort to see us during these challenging pandemic times) in addition to the quality of the Pella product, workmanship in installation and warranty, made the difference. Our representative Josh Kane came from quite a distance to see us specifically. He was very personable, informed and professional, addressing all our questions and concerns. It’s not just what you do but how you do it that counts and Pella does it right. Looking forward to our replacement. The Pella Window installation team arrived at 8:00AM. The two installers started immediately by laying floor and ground covering and preparing the necessary equipment to do the job. Our old window, which was a make-do job by myself and my dad, Joe after we bought the house and needed to make the windows more energy efficient. Over time, the windows started to develop mold inside the glass. We chose Pella because they were the most attentive and professional and the only company to come and see us personally. We paid a bit more vs the others but their installation and extra measures to assure a great job were clearly evident. They were here by 8:00AM and finished by 2:00PM including siliconing, detailing and cleanup and vacuuming. A complete job! Everything done. Nothing left for us to do but enjoy the view. We were very very pleased and now can see out a UV protected, thermal pane window. Thank you to the Pella team Kathy, sales Josh, measurement Richardo , and installers, Vladimir and Nick. We highly recommend Pella! Gary & Janie
I had a break and enter through my back door almost 2 years ago and was referred to Pella Doors for the replacement of my old door through a relative. It was one of the best decisions I ever made in terms of the overall security, aesthetic look and quality of my rear entrance way. Our sales representative John Alexander was a true professional. He was patient, understanding of our situation and thorough. There were no high pressure sales tactics or disingenuous comments ever. We got a door system installed that we are so proud of. It has totally added value to our home and we’ve never felt more secure about our rear doors. Just today, I had another appointment with John to come in and have him look at replacing our commercial “no name” side door. After 30+ years it needed changing... we are very pleased with our decision to have a Pella door installed that is solid, secure and attractive once again. I am always so impressed with the relaxed professional attitude John has and his concise and technical nature gives give me confidence in our purchase and our project every time. I feel that John’s lead on projects also means I have a professional who’s ready at all times to start, follow through and follow up on every project. He’s always available to answer questions at any time. I appreciate that. Thank you John and thank you Pella!
My wife and I are so pleased with Will Molnar and his appreciation for our heritage home. He is very knowledgeable and we are very excited for our new windows!
A terrific company with great products. Everything and everyone involved in my project were extremely polished.
John Alexander provided complete and total satisfaction during the consultation process. I’m very much looking forward to seeing the final product a full glass storm door and an architect series craftsman style front entry door. I highly recommend both John Alexander and Pella products as this will be my third time working with both.
Pella Windows and Doors installed a storm door that does not fit and is useless. They make appointments which they cancel without notice. I lost a day of wages waiting for them to show up. They do not return calls or emails. They called after 2 months to collect the second half of the payment before the work has even been completed properly. Still waiting for that. You can take back the door that does not fit and refund my deposit. You can address my issue with the BBB.
This was the second install Pella has done for us. Both were professionally done. Herb Lee who arranged the purchase and installation kept us informed and checked that we were happy after the windows and door went in. The two installers were great, neat and polite. I would highly recommend Pella windows and doors. A great company to do business with.
Its a pleasure to work with Pella Windows. Jeff, the sales consultant, is extremely approachable and was very accommodating & willing to work with us at the pace we wanted to go on our project. The team that measured & installed the windows were highly professional and made the entire process very painless. I highly recommend Pella Windows.
April 2019, Trevor Panos- Pella, replaced previously installed windows and sliding glass doors purchased through another manufactures in our current home. In our previous home we installed Pella and for over 20 years never a problem. You get what you pay for, Pella, for us is a tried and proven product, solid construction made to last and reliable enhanced with great customer service. Trevor, again demonstrated why Pella is number one in product quality and their people. Gary and Bev Toronto
Process of getting an estimate was professionally handled by Katie M. She accommodated our multiple requests and was open about the options we had and explanation of concepts. When in doubt, she checked with the technical/installation team so to confirm to us. Guy sent to verify measures (Mario) worked diligently and explained next steps. We don't expect "surprises" on installation day and looking forward to ratify this review once windows are installed.
3 doors installed, 2 storm doors. -timelines met, staff from consultation to installation and overview were punctual, professional and willing to help in any way. -knowledgeable staff -work and craftsmanship excellent, neat, and clean. Very happy with the install and entire Pella experience. Would highly recommend, everything is arranged, ordered, organized to your choices, options and liking and price points.
I have used only Pella windows and doors for over 40 years. They all still operate like new. They cost more and the difference is noticeable. Do ot right the first time with Pella.
I worked with Josh Kane to find the right solution for my home. He helped me pick new Pella Windows and work my way through the warranty on my back door. I moved into my home recently and my back door was drafty. Josh quickly sent someone out to measure my windows and inspect the door and because of he was so highly responsive and competent I was able to get a new door under warranty which will fix the draft in the back of my home. I am thrilled with my experience so far and can't wait for the new windows to be installed! Derek, the gentleman who measured my windows was also very knowledgeable and friendly. Nardian from service was also excellent, responsive, and very knowledgeable. I believe I will be a Pella customer for life.
Awesome job!!!! Thanks again to Josh Kane and everyone at Pella for a job well done. Cheers.
I am extremely pleased with this company. Very professional and amazing customer service. They are expensive but worth every penny. I truly was in the greatest hands from start to finish. I would recommend this company.
I am delighted with all aspects of my window purchase and install from Pella. Trevor Panos was knowledgeable, helpful and patient with all my questions and went above and beyond expectations. Al Viverros did an amazing job with the installation. The product is very high quality and I am very impressed with the experience. Thanks!
Jeff Provis was our salesperson. Ted and Roman were our installers. We had three windows and quite an elaborate door installed in our kitchen on August 6, 2019. We were exceedingly pleased with the sales service and install. Ted and Roman did a great job of installing the products. It was a difficult install. Hard to manoeuvre in our congested Toronto neighbourhood. Clean-up was perfect. Highly recommend Jeff, Ted and Roman. Wendy Turcot and Brian Dourley
Katie Martin was an awesome sale consultant. She walked me through step by step of choosing the right door and its components for my main entrance door. My door was not the standard size and she helped with measuring to make sure my custom made door is well fitted. The installation team was dedicated. They worked hard to make sure every detail was perfect. It has been a joy to have a beautiful navy Pella door for my house’s entrance door. It serves both purposes: great first welcome for guests and a calming look to welcome home after a long day of work.
Booked an appointment for replacing a door. Our consultant, John Alexander was very knowledgeable in the products and very helpful in the decision making process. We are looking forward to the installation in a few weeks!
How can I write about Pella as a super excellent company? Let me say from the begining. During my project I found Bryan as one of the best sales person/manager. His knowledge is excellent and knows what to do and what is the best offer. He follows up very well. The time management for producing is amazing too and after that installation team will be on time. They are really sophisticated. You can sit and see how they do perfectly in shortest time.Well, for price, I have no idea. You don't pay for the material, you pay for combination of Material, getting excellent consulting from a expert sales person (Bryan), trust the time they say and nice installation team who are excellent. I highly recommend this company and don't forget to see Bryan to get the best advise.
The Installation crew were great guys Very professional attitude Fantastic job Would hire again Thf
Jeff came to our home today to discuss replacing a large front window as requested. He was very thorough, personable and knowledgeable. We are 100% confident with our decision to go with Pella Windows. Thank you so much Jeff! We look forward to having our new window installed.
So far so good. We received great advice from a friendly and knowledgeable sales person. Have ordered new windows and doors and am waiting on delivery.
This is an initial review based on meeting with the Pella Sales Consultant, Ian Kennedy, who did an excellent job guiding us through the patio door options and helping us decide to proceed with Pella. The one thing that I would suggest Pella improves upon immediately, is offering a broader range of cladding colors. The colour we wanted was only available on a more expensive door that did not have other options we wanted in our patio door. I bought Pella because of their reputation for quality, durability and service but would hope they would expand the cladding colour options to all their lines of wood patio doors.
John Alexander from Pella , Toronto Office was fantastic! From first contact to placing the order he was extremely helpful, accurate and available for support. We can’t wait to have the windows installed.
My experience in replacing my back patio doors was excellent. Will was knowledgeable, had excellent recommendations and actually convinced me not to replace any windows in my home as he felt it was unnecessary although convincingly shared the benefits of the solid wood door over competitive offerings. It was a true consultation rather than a sales interaction which was very much appreciated. The installers (Alex and Vlad) were top notch. Kind, respectful of my home and completed a high quality installation w minimal mess. All 3 individuals are terrific ambassadors for Pella. While not the least expensive option, you truly get what you pay for. This was an exceptional experience all round and most importantly I am thrilled w my new doors.
I am looking for a quote for my door system which Ian Kennedy provide a great design solution which we are now convinced is the correct approach. Ian is very knowledgeable about the products / process's which go into the Manufacture of your systems and was able to demonstrate excellent communication of the various differences between you and a competitors product. We will place the order in the near future. Lol
I found Katie Martin, the Pella sales representative who was at my residence, to be highly informed and knowledgeable about the product (Windows). Katie pointed out the benefits of the Pella window construction the warranty that was included and professional skill of the installation staff. I recommend anyone in my area(Toronto) who has plans for new replacement windows to contact this terrific sales representative Katie Martin Alex F
I absolutely love my windows. the Pella installer was wonderful, quick and clean. He was very professional and organized. I did have problems with a no show for my first appointment; however once done , I am very pleased.
Just finished having my windows installed that were manufactured by Pella. Had a great 5 star experience with the sales rep John Alexander, the support team Lynda and Flo and Paul the installer. Everyone was very kind and helpful. Not only that, the windows look fantastic and function really well. Money well spent. Kudos to you all - I am so happy!
I could not be more disappointed with Pella. The way they treat they customers is appalling. It's been months since the initial (faulty) installation, and they still haven't fixed the issues. We have purchased two doors and invested over 10k, and I would not recommend them to anyone! From the beginning, they have made countless mistakes, such as ripping our door frames and exposing the insulation (which we had to live with for months), dying the outer frame the wrong colour etc... The quality of their bug screen is inferior and was torn the next day, and the "privacy film" they installed on the front door that they promised will last for 20 years, peeled off after 2 weeks. As I'm writing this the issues are still not resolved and they keep cancelling and rescheduling service appointments as they please.
Excellent service and product. I dealt with Jeff Provis as the sales rep. He was very helpful and replied very quickly to my emails whenever I had a question. The installation went well and I was impressed by their attention to detail in their finishing work. The windows are impressive. I would order from Pella again and would recommend them.
My journey to replace two exterior doors on my 70+ year old home was aided by a recommendation from my neighbour. The showroom discussion of the door product lines was informative. Visually seeing and touching the display doors helped me decide on Pella doors. I liked the selection, quality, finish and weather-proofing. A home consultation was setup. Home Consultant Sales Rep Josh Kane helped me decide on a new front door to replace the original front door, and a new side door to replace the two year old side door that was not working out well. Josh helped me decide on the best replacement doors to fit the architectural style of my house, paying special attention to colour matching of the front door and trim. Josh's knowledge and explanations to my questions made deciding on the door colours and styles easy. Looking forward to a warmer home this winter with new weatherproof doors. Awaiting the installation of the new doors.
Pella provided professional and thorough service for planning a complete change of all windows and patio doors. My sales rep, Katie Martin, went above and beyond to make sure everything met my high standards, and provided competitive pricing. My home has wood windows, and she worked hard to find the best product to replace them while maintaining the same look plus adding soundproofing features. The installation is set for the spring!
I was very pleasantly surprised with Sales Consultant Josh Kane today. He was professional, punctual, detail oriented and clearly explained the qualities of the various window products - the advantages and disadvantages of each of the window types, and he helped make my decisions much easier. I felt that I could trust Josh - he seemed very knowledgeable and he patiently answered all of my questions. I never felt rushed nor felt that this was just some "sales job". My first impressions of Pella Windows through my interaction with Josh is very positive, and I am now eagerly awaiting the installation of what I expect to be quality windows that I'll be very happy with.
Met with Ian today for a consultation. He was very professional, knowledgable and patient as we asked all our questions and identified the choices right for us. Thanks Ian!
Horrendous experience and customer service. They delivered our windows but forgot to schedule an installation crew so I had to pay my own contractor to do it. It’s now been 3 months and Pella still hasn’t finished the flashing - after several failed promises to show up they now stopped responding to calls/emails. All this AFTER they demanded full pay to schedule a crew (which by the way included full install). I’m out a significant $ for their failure to complete what they committed to. If you want a smooth project avoid these guys like the plague!!!
Very happy with the entire process of selecting and purchasing the front door and picture window from start to finish. Began with the sale's rep Josh Kane. He was very patient and helpful in putting together a front door that met our needs and budget. Pella's Oakville showroom was a must visit. The final instal by Paul was top notch. The end result met our expectation and more. Thanks to a job well done Pella!!
We had a very unpleasant experience with Pella and felt completely taken advantage off. We had a dualpane window installed in our master bedroom but the entire thing took a wrong turn from the beginning. Pella changed the installation date last minute, the second time the installer did not show up, the third time the installer showed up on a pouring rainy day and finally, after about a month of re-scheduling we had our window installed. But don’t keep your hopes up because Pella will never call you to re-schedule the installation. We had to keep calling Pella and they don’t give you an install date right away – we had to keep calling Pella many times until we got a date but then the installers don’t show up and you have to start from the beginning. The other issue was that we paid for a full frame installation (because the salesman John Alexander recommended since there was too much noise from the street) but in the end the installer only did what is called “RETROFIT WINDOW INSTALLATION”. He didn’t remove the casing, or the jamb, or the trim – ONLY THE DUAL PANEGLASS WAS INSTALLED. The installer told us someone from Pella will stop by to see how the window was installed and will process the payment after. Well, it took two months and no one from Pella showed up or even followed up with a call to see if we were happy with the installation. They were happy to collect the money instead. We wanted to receive credit for the work that was not performed and all the pine wood we were charged for - but you cannot do this with Pella. The salesman John Alexander and Flo from the office, keep flaunting the contract in your face because we signed it and once you sign you don’t get anything else from Pella. Paying $3,400.00 for a dual pane glass installation that is even missing a hardware, I think it’s very expensive. When I told John about the install and the missing hardware he didn’t even offer to send me the hardware. All I got from him was “Well, did you sign off after the window was installed?” So, I guess this is what you get from Pella – rude customer service who’s not even offering to send you a $3 hardware because they are busy flaunting a contract in your face. Well John and Flo, for a very expensive dual paneglass installation, I was hoping to have come with at least all the hardware. And no, we didn't keep all that pine jamb and casing or anything else we were charged for - I am sure you were able to use it for another install. I don't usually write reviews but I'm so frustrated with this company and the way they treat people. Please read the reviews before getting into a contract because house renovation is already having a strain on people.
Dealing with Pella was a very positive experience. Trevor Panos, their sales representative, ensured every requirement I had for my home's many windows was accommodated. I am very pleased with the work the installation crew performed.
Worst windows I have ever bought! Stay away from them. I bought these about 8 years ago and they are horrible, let me note why: 1) They offer zero sound protection, you can stand in our back yard and have have a conversation (at normal speaking voices) with someone upstairs in the bedroom, while the windows are close and locked shut. 2) They are drafty. We have had repairmen from Pella out here at least 10 times to replace the weather stripping and it makes no difference. In the winter you can actually feel a breeze coming in. 3) Cost. They were significantly more expensive then any of the other windows. The one good thing I have to say about them is the light blocking. We got the windows with the built in shades as my wife is a nurse and works nights and sleeps during the day so we wanted something to block the light and they are superb at doing that. Overall I would have preferred to stay with the builders windows, yeah, they are that bad.
Awesome job, again!!! This is my 2nd phase with Pella and once again we are tremendously pleased. Our rep Josh Kane, has helped us throughout. He is knowledgeable and charismatic, professional and passionate. Josh helped us with our selection, understanding our vision and making it affordable through phasing. We have had two different install crews with our two purchases and both did an amazing job. They were all tidy and clean, very pleasant gentleman. No wasted time, very efficient. With another successful job done to our high standards, we will continue to use Pella to complete our house and will recommend them to anyone in the market for new windows or doors. Michelle
On several projects, Marek Ryzyj has provided well-informed and experienced advice on Pella products and services through the design and budget pricing phase. With projects that Pella was awarded contracts to supply windows and doors, Marek has always been timely and helpful with responses and in providing oversight. In the occasions where changes or additional requirements were needed during construction, Marek supported our projects through completion.
My experience working with Jeff Provis with Pella Windows was excellent. I have done a lot of renovations lately and working with Jeff to replace the windows in my living room, two bathrooms and my bedroom was smooth and successful. He was great at helping me pick the style, the colour, the features that went with my selection. The installation was smooth and the workers were very tidy and pleasant. I requested Custom colours on my wood interiors, not an easy job, and the match was perfect. I feel the service was 5 star and Jeff was personable and the customer service was outstanding. I would not hesitate to recommend them to my friends and neighbours. Deb
Our experience is identical to Domenic Saverino's. We purchased a storm door that was so poorly manufactured and installed (open seams, dents, scratches) that we arranged for a replacement. The re-install date came and went with no installers even showing up. Finally got a replacement door about a month ago which is still not properly fitted to the frame and a huge gap underneath. We are trying to get an inspector out to have a look but our service rep has not responded to us for an entire month. Have had to shove a sheet under the door to keep drafts out. Certainly not the quality that we expected from Pella. Have used them many times in the past but will NEVER use or recommend them in future.
For such an expensive product, they have the worst customer service imaginable. Don't bother emailing them, it will take forever to get a response if you get one, and when they do come out they are quite rude. They show up outside the times they advise you, and then expect you to stop what you're doing to accommodate them. Just unbelievable how bad it is.
I have been presented by Ian Kennedy from Pella, on a window quote for my house. He is so knowledgeable, organized, and educated me in details about each single aspect of the product, advantages and disadvantages of the installation methods. What amazed me that right after his visit, he prepared and sent the quote to me. I liked the very professional manner and the knowledge with Ian and the company. Kaveh
Graham was extremely helpful throughout the entire process and everything turned out great. All 16 new windows and a door fit perfect in an old 1940s brick house. Very happy with my pella experience.
I 've used Pella for the 4th time in 2 years for my home and cottage. Will Molnar is my sales representative and he is absolutely amazing when it comes to suggestions and is very patient throughout the process. Ted has been my installer and he is an artist when it comes to installing windows and doors. I ve already recommended Will and Tedd to 2 of my relatives.
We had a great experience purchasing a new front door from Pella Bayview. Josh Kane came to our house within a week of our initial request, and was very clear and thorough in reviewing all of the options and helping us arrive at a selection. The installation took place about two months later, and went very smoothly. The installers were professional, and answered all of our questions both during and after very patiently. We're very pleased with the final result!
We replaced our large basement patio door with a newer better insulated door. Our basement is warmer as a result. The service was great and safe and neat and clean.
John Alexander made the entire process an easy one for us. Appointments were conveniently scheduled. John was knowledgeable about the Pella products and the window industry, didn’t pressure us and helped us choose the right windows for our home. We definitely plan to work with him again when we replace more windows.
Sales rep, Josh Kane, provided excellent service for my quotation request. He was on time to the appointment and was able to clearly and respectfully describe my options. He discussed different scenarios and payment options that made me comfortable and happy. Also, my cat loved him; anyone who can pass her test is worthy.
Our sales rep from PELLA Windows and Doors, Josh Kane, arrived this morning with so much enthusiasm, ready to tell us about the choices we had for our new Sliding door and Picture window. It didn’t take long for us to realize the exceptional quality we were getting. We are really looking forward to installation!!
Katey came yesterday to help me select a new patio door. She was knowledgeable and enthusiastic regarding her products. I look forward to the installation of my new patio door.
I'm sure you will not regret working with this company and will offer it to the rest.
Josh came out to provide info on a Patio door & window we needed to change. He provides outstanding customer service! He takes the time to do a complete and thorough explanation of Pella products, complete with notes, options, and recommendations. What we also like is that Josh took extra care and consideration to make sure we the customer understood all aspects, and to properly prioritize all our options keeping us in our budget. I would recommend Pella & specifically Josh Kane services to anyone needing windows or doors.
We met with sales rep Josh Kane last week in a virtual call about a new front entry door. Josh was very helpful in helping us choose the right door for our Arts and Crafts house. To our surprise, the call was nearly as good as meeting in person would have been. There is no doubt that Pella products are beautifully made and high-quality.
Nice staff. Great product.
We chose Pella because Jeff Provis, sales rep., is very informative about the product and has provided an effective solution to our heat problem due to a western exposure. Also, he offered useful suggestions on how to minimize the overall costs of this purchase. Thanks, Jeff.
Josh Kane is one of the most friendly and thorough home product representatives that we have met. He is a credit to the Pella organization. We feel fully informed and at no time did he pressure us to make a decision. The sales process led naturally to the best solution for us.
Buying new windows is a daunting task. But Jeff Provis and the team at Pella windows (Bayview) were able to make it enjoyable and stress free. From initial consultation to install the process was seamless and straight forward. The install team were professional, clean and accommodating (my two young children watched and questioned there every move hahaha). A big thank you to the entire Pella team.
The sales person Josh was very polite and helpful in helping me to decide the style of my door and window.I have always used Pella and will continue
We replaced all the windows in our house with top of the line Architect Series, black exterior and interior. We had Pella do the installation as they insured me they would do the job right considering the age of the house. They completely destroyed the original trim around the windows. After many phone calls, the sales rep finally came out to take a look at the extensive damage caused by his installer. His response: "it's just trauma, you can fix that." And away he went. So now I'm left with having to repair and paint all the trim work on 4 windows. Hundreds of dollars. Thanks Pella. Unfortunately for you we live in a neighbourhood where word of mouth and recommendations are the norm. Plus we live on a very busy corner and many, many people have already stopped to ask about our windows. Your refusal to fix the problem you made will cost you thousands in lost revenue. UPDATE: Pella sent one of their guys out and the problem has been fixed. The trim around our windows looks as good as it did prior to the installation. Thanks for doing the right thing Pella.
Horrible customer service post install. Impossible to get them to fix a poorly installed window that is leaking. First they send the "service technician" who literally flooded my back yard with my garden hose trying to show that the window wasn't leaking. Meanwhile water was running inside of my house causing more damage. They then accepted the fact that it was leaking. Thanks captain obvious. At this point they left my window completely dismantled on the inside and said the installer would come by the following week. A week goes by and nothing from Pella. I call to follow up and this is when I discover that Pella uses independent contractors to install their windows. I'm told the installer has to call me to set up the appointment. Another week goes by and nothing. I call Pella again and they want me to chase down their installer. I remind them that this is their installer and it is their responsibility to get this person to fix the window. Another two weeks go by and nothing. I call again and get the same response. It has been over a month and a half now and Pella has still not come by to fix the window. Basically the installer gets paid by the install and has no incentive whatsoever to repair their faulty workmanship and Pella defers any responsibility for the repair onto the installer. To summarize, Pella is great at providing the windows at the time of sale but their responsiveness to deficiencies is atrocious and they really don't appear to want remedy any issues with their installations. It's completely amateurish.
Good service. Installers showed up on time and were very clean and efficient. Windows look great.
What an amazing home project experience. From the very beginning, nothing but professionalism throughout the entire organization. Our sales rep, Josh Kane was informative and passionate. We believed he was more excited about our new windows than we were. He showed us options we didn’t know existed and came up with a solution we found modern and classy. The product and install also lived up to the high standards Josh had set. Everything went to plan, with no issues. We are so pleased with our purchase and without hesitation, would recommend Pella to our friends and family. Lou
Great experience. Product was excellent. Good communication through the whole process
This will be the third install Pella has done for us. Previous work was professionally installed [installers were excellent craftsmen] and we have always been pleased with Pella's quality products. Personalized in-home service with our representative John Alexander was convenient and timely. We have worked with John on a previous project as well and find him extremely well informed about Pella products and committed to customer satisfaction. We highly recommend John and Pella and are happy to do business with them.
Beyond disappointed with this company. Window openings were incorrectly measured and three out of four windows were the wrong size, but were installed anyway. Removed existing windows without making sure new ones fit. One mis-sized window had been leaking for 2 months while we waited for Pella to replace it, resulting in damage to our wall. Door was installed improperly – not centred in the opening. Two windows were installed in the space where new window sills are supposed to go. Pella takes no responsibility for their mistakes and instead of supplying windows that are the correct size, insists that massive amount of caulking used to fill gaps are acceptable. Damage to our floors, walls, cedar siding, trees and plants in garden have not been addressed – will have to be repaired/replaced at our own expense. Full payment was charged to our account the day before the installation, so we had no opportunity to approve completed work before 100% payment was made, and therefore, no leverage to get Pella to make things right. Many emails and voice mails have gone unanswered by multiple levels of staff, including Service Manager, Mike. Five months after initial install date we still don't have the right coloured screens (no reply to emails re: this). Service staff have been here multiples times without checking boxes and either have brought wrong stuff or not enough of something. Windows are actually great quality but don't get them to measure or install ... the just don't care.
VERY SATISFIED !! Job : total window replacements - coordinating 3 attached townhouses. - excellent product choice - timely installation - tidy - answered all questions intelligently - stands behind “ the job” - goes “ the extra mile “ Thank you Jeff Provis & The Pella Team for a “ Job - Well Done” Brenda Dixon
I reached out to Pella to quote on an aluminum clad wood entry door with side light. Within 24 hours I received an email response requesting a date for a sales rep to come by. Booking was easy and straightforward. The sales rep was Trevor Panos who was very knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. There were no pressure sales. Trevor site verified dimensions, reviewed all options and provided a quote and drawing on the spot. First class service all the way. Unfortunately we chose to go a different route but based on my experience I would highly recommend adding Pella to your list of window/door suppliers.
We had windows installed and they're great professional installation and would highly recommend the company to anyone wanting windows or doors installed also jeff and Ahmed's help me a lot and where very professional keep the good work up
Replaced windows throughout whole house After getting quotes from a few vendors and reading multiple reviews online, I decided to go with Pella. I was hesitant originally as it had mixed reviews - good and bad. I liked the Salesperson and decided to take a chance with them. I'm glad I did. They were extremely professional and did a quality job. They took a little longer than planned but I believe they did a quality job so I was ok with them taking an additional 1/2 day to finish the job. Sometimes you just have to follow your gut.
I highly recommend Pella Windows. Meredith Richardson has given me superior service. She clearly explained my options for windows, doors and hardware, making decisions easy. She ensured that service was completed promptly and to my satisfaction, and it was a real pleasure working with her. I am so pleased with my beautiful new doors and windows that I will be purchasing more new windows!
Excellent Sales representative( Will Molnar) Excellent product Waiting for installation and I hope the great experience continues
Hi Josh. . As you may know we had our windows installed and everything was done exactly as you said. Everything from their scheduling, measuring ( informative guy) installation ( exceptional) and follow ups was great. As you know I wear a similar hat just with cabinets not windows and I appreciate good communication and a great outcome and your team did that in spades ♠️ Lastly thank you for suggesting the open centre pains on the two windows as they look awesome. We would/will recommend you anytime. I’ll send you a couple of picks as well. Again thanks.
I was very pleased with the assistance that I received from Jeff Provois. He was helpful in choosing the the windows and doors, styles. He answered my guestions any time I called. I would recommend him to anyp
We bought a patio door and blinds between the windows and we had great suggestions from our sales representative Andrew Devon and great service from the installers. They came back to show us how to clean inside the windows. Great service, very polite. Marc
We had Nick from Pella Toronto come out to talk about 2 patio doors, he had some good suggestions re moving the basement walk out to a French slider. Doors went in yesterday, they look great. minor damage on the screen door was noticed by the installer and the Project Manager Kathy, called us and ordered a new one right away. The walk out from the kitchen door looks great and is a big step up from the custom builder door in the house. When it comes time to look at windows we will call Nick for sure.
