After purchasing an older home in River Heights, we worked with Rob Everitt to turn our 90-year-old character home into a modern space, while maintaining the interesting architectural features. In our meetings with Rob, he listened to our ideas for the house and incorporated colours and design to create a warm and comfortable space. The project included: designing a 400 sq’ addition to provide a main floor family room featuring a large tray ceiling and laundry room/mud room with an attached garage, updating our home in a most functional manner. His meticulous attention to small details, such as hardware and lighting, and large details such as cork flooring in the kitchen, family room and bathrooms creates a continuity so that spaces in the house flow from one to the other. The total makeover also included 2 new bathrooms and granite kitchen counters. We love our home and friends and visitors constantly tell us how welcoming it feels. Rob deserves the credit for transforming a historic residence into a family home and we cherish every moment. Thank you Rob for sharing your expertise with us.
