This is a significant edifice of public investment in the 19th century. When I visited, the building was still in use, but there was no opportunity to visit the interior. Such public buildings would tell us a great deal of the country if only we could see the pride and work that went into its construction.

Beautiful library at this location (used to be a school). Great for a quick stop, pictures and there's plenty of parking. They will be supposedly adding tours in the future, so will definitely recommend visiting when they do.

The Lunenburg Academy is the most beautiful building in town. It has its very own atmosphere with its unique architecture, isolated on a hill and surrounded by a cemetery.

Now the public library, this building offers a great service to the community as well as offering locals and tourists alike to get a good look at a historical building. They also host a genealogical society as well I believe, which is fantastic!
