Dealing with Urban Design is such a breeze! I am able to text the sales rep for pictures of products and he gets back to me within minutes of asking for it. The quality of their items is definitely top tier. I have worked with builders from Chilliwack to Richmond and Urban Design is always the go to for them as well. The owner and sales rep Ruben even set up a lunch and learn at a clients office to work around his schedule. Quality is one thing but this team has a passion for what they do!

I had great experience working with Ruben at Urban Design Building Materials. He was attentive and fair with his pricing. We ordered composite decking from him and was a great experience throughout. Did not feel he was over selling and provided us great ideas to cut cost. I had an incident picking up the materials at their warehouse (frankly the guys there weren't as helpful) but Ruben called me immediately to apologize for their service even though we know it wasnt directly his fault. We needed to order additional materials and Ruben personally drop it off for us even though he didn't need to. I appreciated him going out of his way and highly recommend Ruben. The parts are great quality and his service made it very pleasant.

Personally I hate dealing with sales people because I usually know what I want before I go looking. However in this regard I found the salespeople here not only extremely courteous and knowledgeable but also hold true to the products they offer. The stone recommended is gorgeous and very high quality and exceeded my expectations. Bar none this is the place to get your stone and tile, I highly recommend!

I visited the showroom in Langley on February 6th 2020 after googling local businesses in my area. I always like to support local. I spoke with one of the sales staff and fully explained to her what I was looking for to upgrade my existing fireplace. We discussed different products and I told her what I was looking for She provided me with her business card, took my personal information and advised that she would forward my contact information to one of their reps. She stated that they would be in contact with me in the next day or two. Today is February 20th ( 2 weeks later) and I am still waiting for a phone call. Good thing I wasn't in a rush. I would not recommend this company.

The material they supplied our contractor was garbage. They said the stone was the best and it was the worst. They said the doors where imported from Italy and they are made in China. What a Joke you guys are. We trusted you and this is what we get in return. We paid you cash top dollar as requested for a better deal and now pay for it. Will be reported to revenue Canada scammers. And I am claiming every penny!!! I will not recommend you guys. Now you will tell every one I am not a customer like always. All show and no quality here. Will be posted evry where now. Buyer beware.

We saw a post on Facebook marketplace for some Timbertech decking. Ruben messaged us back within the day and was able to answer our questions. We went to Urban Design store and Ruben took care of our order. A few weeks later we started to build our deck and thought we should extend a few more feet. Ruben again came to the rescue and delivered the few more pieces himself. He is an excellent example of customer service and I would not hesitate to recommend his services again!

I had the worst experience at this store, at least not what I would have expected at all from a supplies store even after telling them I’m a builder. I usually don’t care much about service but this store had nothing in stock. Literally nothing in stock and was told I would have to order and wait at least 4 weeks for special delivery with no specific date. I’ve purchased from other stores and get the materials I need right away if not at least a couple of days later, not delaying the project with a bit of decent service. The sales person didn’t call me back in a week. Not coming here again

Typically, I'm not the type of person to leave online reviews. However, I felt that it was necessary to write a review for this company as my whole experience with them exceeded my expectations. The salesperson who I dealt with was very friendly and he definitely gave me the sense that he wanted the best for my business. He was responsive to my text messages and calls not only during the weekdays but also during the weekends and late nights. Theirs products are very high quality and were delivered right on time.

Yesterday, I found myself without a stone installer right in the middle of our fireplace renovation. Ruben listened to my concerns and assisted me with my stone purchase and found a wonderful installer for my job. Within hours of talking to Ruben, the installer came to my house and gave me a great quote. I can't thank Ruben and the staff at Urban Design enough for assisting us. Bought my stone and flooring from this company . The outside sales met me at my jobsite. Very knowledgable and informative . Price on the stone and floor was way better then other 2 places I visited . Stone was delivered at the time I requested . Not only they gave me good deal but also helped me to find good installers. I am very happy with the service and the products I bought from urban design . I won't hesitate to recommend them to my friends and family.
