Vikas has been extremely professional and instrumental in bringing our vision to life. He takes feedback great and goes above and beyond to get things right. We were supported from design/sketch, to blue print days to gaining our building permit and beyond. He is informed and knowledgeable and has helped us move through a few challenges. When signing up to work with Vikas you are receiving much more than just a plan. Vikas is vested in service and lasting relationships. He has supported us in navigating and making sound decisions. We are in the early stages of planning our dream home build and by chance I stumbled upon a Facebook post from Kapoor Home Design that had a concept of a grand master bedroom which is why we reached out. I had seen a bunch of common designs or trends from various companies but nothing stood out. After an initial consultation where I actually had drafted a few ideas. Kapoor went through some concept binders in great detail of previous homes he had designed. We actually didn’t get into my sketches in great detail at this point, he was more interested in what trends I had liked and which ones I didn’t. We ended up going with a hybrid of what we saw trending and what stood the test of time. During all of this discussion notes were flying and I could see Kapoor was brainstorming. Our meeting went for over an hour and felt like 10 minutes. At the end of the meeting he just said I need sometime but I want to get creative and give you a few different over all looks and we’ll go from there. After 2 weeks I was presented with 3 completely different designs they did over lap a lot but each layout was its own. We then spent the next month with revising and tweaking. There wasn’t a single thing on our wish list that was missed. And things we never even thought of like what routes to take furniture in and openings so we wouldn’t run into issues later on. His attention to detail is unreal. I can’t remember a time where communication wasn’t open and honest. If there was anytime Kapoor couldn’t get back to us he would simply reply with a text or email that he was a bit busy and would get back to us shortly which wasn’t ever more than 2 days. We are well into the build now and couldn’t be happier. We’ve had so many visitors come by our house and everyone says nothing but great things about our design. I would highly recommend Kapoor Home Design for anyone building and wants to push design limits to achieve their dream home. His ability to take your vision and put it on paper is very impressive Couldn’t be happier with our home! AM

He was open to suggestion, took all of our ideas into consideration and used his expertise in putting it all together in his design process. He didn't stop until we were completely satisfied with absolutely everything. Even after plans were submitted and we wanted to make changes, he made them for us immediately. My husband and I were very impressed with Vik and Aarti . Vik went above and beyond to deal with any issues the city of Burnaby had with the plans. The last designer we had, we were not very happy with since he didn't want to want go to the city hall or answer their questions about the design that only he could only answer. Vik took care of everything with the city and any changes that needed to be made were not extra cost. We agreed on a price and that's the price we paid at the end. So I would definately recommend & have recommended Kapoor Home Design to family and friends.
