We hired this company to repair and redo our front landing and steps to our condo as well to furnish and install a railing on both sides of the staircase. My experience with Spot Outdoor Living has been nothing but a nightmare! the workmanship, or should I say complete lack of workmanship left us in a dangerous situation. the cement and brick work was poorly done, instead of putting a finishing coat of cement, they decided to try and cover everything up with paint which started to bubble and peel after the first rain. we never received the railings. every time we tried to speak to the owner about our concerns, he would just smile and say that it what we wanted was not in the contract. 6 months later the job is still not finished and there is a rickety makeshift wood railing on one side of the stairs on none on the other side leaving a possibility of a nasty fall. we had the job inspected by a building inspector and we were informed that not only was the job not up to code but he would be surprised if it held together through the winter. it all has to be torn apart and redone from scratch. stay as far away from this company as possible. not only will you get terrible work but you will get attitude from the arrogant owner.
