It is a historic property in downtown kingston with many large trees along the property line and they did a beautiful job of working around them and including the trees in the fenceline. Really disappointed with OPFence. We received a quote for a fence install at the beginning of July. They asked for a deposit of $1900.00 and held it for two months until a week before the expected install date. They then told us that they we needed to pay more and use smaller posts than originally quoted or else they would cancel the project. This was incredibly unprofessional for them to sign off on a quote, keep our money for two months and then try to ask for more. We're now nearing the end of the season and many of the other contractors are fully booked, which means another contractor may not be able to start this project until next year. If you choose to receive a quote from this company, negotiate a lower price from the beginning as they were a bit more expensive than some of the other contractors that we received quotes from. I would also be hesitant to give them a deposit of more than 10%.

Jamie was incredibly nice and was always easy to get a hold of. Mark was quick to come to the house for a socially-distant quote and consult. They were flexible with time frames and open to discuss different options for what would work best for our yard. The crew at our house over the course of 3 days were really great - nice with our kids, made sure we knew the process and timeline, and came back to make sure we were happy with the work. All in all, great experience!

I am pleased to recommend Ontario Provincial Fence (OPF) based on the quality of the work, the cost of the project, and their professionalism. My neighbor recommended OPF, and I am delighted that I selected them to complete a significant project on my property. The work involved installing a chain-link (2-acre backyard), ornate (either side of the house) and a sleek fence (around my propane tanks), which was a significant and challenging undertaking. Many of the other vendors that I approached for quotes were either unwilling or unable to do all of the work, which meant having multiple contractors and a more expensive project. Fortunately, OPF was able and willing to undertake a large project and work with the customer to complete it to my satisfaction. The salesperson was knowledgeable and provided a detailed proposal and quote for the scope of work, which was honored throughout the project. In the cases where we had to deviate, OPF was very reasonable with pricing and even refunded the cost of unused materials. The onsite crew was courteous and kind and did a stellar job, often in very inclement weather. Moreover, the team fully engages in soliciting customer input and feedback to ensure the work is completed in the manner anticipated by the customer. They also adhered to their timelines, and even when other contractors were delayed, they were patient and rescheduled to permit the smooth completion of the project. The result of their efforts was an outstanding addition to the home, which is both functional and aesethetically pleasing! I see my neighbors stare as they walk past my house. Many have commented on the difference it makes to the property's overall appearance. I highly recommend OPF for their diligence in completing the project to my very high standards - thank you.

We recently built a privacy panel in our backyard. We had phoned around to different companies, and Jamie and OPF were the easiest to work with. They also had competitive pricing. We had them come out and dig holes for, cement, and plumb three 6x6-ten foot posts. The installers were extremely nice, funny, and knowledgeable. We actually changed our design idea (the portion of the panel that we built) after speaking with them as they were installing the posts. Their suggestions were amazing and allowed me to create a significantly better privacy panel than what I would have had installed without speaking with them. We would definitely use them again!

If you are looking for a great product and professional grade workmanship, look no further. Ontario Provincial Fence Inc. stands behind it's products and are delightful to deal with. Jamie, Mark and the team are quality driven people. OPF put up two fences at my cottage by the water. 130kms+ winds came through and lifted my 21' x 31' dock canopy off the dock ,threw it into the water like nothing, blew away my shelter logic tent that was fully anchored and blew down four BIG trees on my property. The two fences that OPF installed stood up like champions through this ordeal. I was simply amazed that the fences were able to withstand that kind of brutal force that came through on that day.
