As an owner of a registered heritage building in Halifax comprised of commercial and residential space, we chose Solterre initially because of their novel design ideas that no other firm offered us during the interview phase. They spent a great deal of time understanding our space and our needs and that translated into better utilization of the existing footprint and minimizing the size of the addition required. They were extremely patient with us as we iterated through finalizing our design. They guided use through the process of choosing a construction specialist. They produced detailed drawings and maintained excellent communication with all stakeholders involved. They were dependable and fair seeing our project through to completion. I highly recommend Solterre Design.
