Carlo answered my online request within an hr! Was not expecting such a quick response. Then followed up with a phone call. With the situation we are all in at the moment (Covid-19) and no projects being started, Carlo offered to come by and talk me through my project, giving easy to do suggestions to help move the project along step by step. After I explained that I need a confirmed time because I have to get my kids from school, he replied, “I think you need to find someone else” and then hung up the phone.

UNPROFESSIONAL AND VERY RUDE! I called in to get a quote and spoke with the owner who immediately wanted to charge me $500 for a quote...just a rough quote. I then asked why he would charge me $500 for a quote when I just want a ballpark estimate price per square foot. He then said we were not a good fit and disconnected the call. This guy really knows how to do business. Try to rip people off for a $500 quote and if they do not agree, just hang up on them. WOW. this guy deserves a negative 5 start for sure.

Please read and learn from my very expensive mistake! If I could give Manor landscaping a negative 3 star rating I would! I hired Manor landscaping to cover up my garden. The only thing that I wanted to keep was my prized Kiwi plants which I had been rearing for years. Since they were so important to me I mentioned it to them every time we spoke to the point where I was told “look I get it, your kiwis are important. No worries I’ll take care of you”. I requested a low maintenance design and needed it within a few weeks as I wanted to enjoy my new landscaping over the summer. Carlo assured me he would speak with his designer and turn it into something really nice since I had a healthy budget. I asked him to peer over the fence as I loved my neighbors landscaping. I asked can you do something like that for that money. He coughed and said “oh yea, don’t worry I’ll take care of you”. I gave them a budget of $4k and signed the deal. The start date came and went. 2 weeks later I called…and called…and called and finally after many excuses of being too busy they came 2 months later. So much for enjoying my summer oasis. My neighbor a stay at home mom saw the crew arrive around 9am one morning and depart around 2pm. I came home and low and behold my Kiwi’s had been ripped out. I called and pleaded with Carlo to return my Kiwi’s and the only answer I got was “I looked in the dumpster and they are not there sorry I’ll make it up to you”. I asked when they planned on coming back to finish the job and he said “it’s done.” There’s no way it’s done there’s no design at all, it’s flat and gutted is all. He asked for more money to finish it because my budget was limiting his plant selection options. I agreed to another $500. Judge for yourself if this is good value for your money this spring. The first picture is the model I asked for (neighbor’s yard) The second picture is my oasis for $4500. Sadly, our friends felt so bad they came and redid it for us. Buyer beware!

Highly recommend Manor Landscaping! My old patio was cracked and sinking and I had only gravel as a walk way to the backyard. Carlo came and talked to me about what I wanted, and Jen worked up a plan for a great interlocking patio,sidewalk and front step. In less than two weeks, Kelly had my old patio removed and a new, larger patio and sidewalk all installed. They arrived promptly in the morning and worked solidly all day. I can't say enough about how pleased we are with the work Manor has done with our landscaping. To start, our lot is not all that large, and we hadn't really kept up with it to much over the last few years. It was weedy and unkempt in the back, and just very "blah" in the front. I reached out to Manor based on testimonials I'd read, people I'd talked to, and work I'd seen. We explained our vision, and shortly after, we received a sketch based on what we were looking for. We had a little back and forth, opting for a larger patio in the back, and smaller deck. Finally, we settled on a design, and received the quote. With COVID-19, things didn't happen as quickly as we would have liked, but Manor kept us informed every step of the way. When the time finally came to actually get the work done, the team was prompt, polite, professional, and efficient. The work they've done so far is outstanding. We've got the front re-done with a beautiful stone walkway, and new plantings. We've got the side walkway level and re-stoned; We have a gorgeous patio in the back, with room enough for eating and a separate area for relaxing, new trees for privacy. Once the wood arrives for re-building our deck (shortage due to COVID), the vision will be complete. It's worth repeating: I can't say enough how pleased I am with the work they've done, and how they've gone about it. Everything's come out better than I could have hoped. They've done a great job. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing some landscape work done.

We just had our crumbling driveway and narrow non functional walkway redone by Manor and the results are fantastic!. From the beginning we got a good feeling from Carlo who was upfront with everything, and responded promptly to our inquiries. Jen helped us pick out pavers and design that would suit the look we wanted, gave us a timeline for install and it was done on time. Kelly and his crew came for 5 days straight and worked hard all day while being respectful, polite, friendly, patient with questions and responsive to changes we wished to make. They also kept the site neat! We got a real sense that the crew cared about the quality of their work and it shows. We have friends who went with the lowest quote they could get and ended up with months of headaches to get the job done, and some questionable quality. They tell us they would not recommend their contractor even though they paid less. Manor may not be the cheapest you can get, but we wanted it done right the first time without excess stress, and it was totally worth it. Highly recommend! Thank you!
