From start to finish LPC Construction was fabulous to work with. Ben was excellent at communicating through all aspects of the job from the consultation to start date, during and even after the job was completed. All of the tradespeople that were in the house were very professional, excellent at trouble shooting, and pleasant to have in my home. Ben and his team went above and beyond to keep the job moving forward on schedule, traveling through terrible weather and bringing in extra people when needed. They also listened to my requests and made special custom pieces to fit what we wanted: a secure wooden insert in the wall to attach a shelf by our treadmill and a higher plug for the t.v., a built in "closet" in the guest room, special access hatches in the guest room for access to plumbing, building plywood walls in the laundry room for my shelving and screwing down the custom shelving, and a multi plug outlet where the larger t.v. will be. The attention to detail and to how we wanted to set up the space was greatly appreciated! When the company that did our flooring came in to install the flooring, the craftsmen reinforced my high opinion of the workmanship of Ben and his team. They were so happy to work in a space that had square walls! It made laying the floor much easier for them and it looked beautiful due to the straightness of the walls. Ben and his team are highly professional and do all they can to make sure you are happy with the result of the renovation. I am looking forward to having them back to do our bathroom in a couple of years. p.s. I apologize for the pictures as we haven't fully set up the basement yet, we're waiting on some furniture still. However, we do love the space and are getting use out of it already.

LPC completed the renovation of two bathrooms in a century old house. It was a complex project but it was executed flawlessly and we are really happy to have worked with Ben and his team at LPC. First, the quality of the project was outstanding. Ben was always willing to discuss options and accommodate requests and preferences. He was patient with us at all times. He provided clear updates on every stage of the project and well-written weekly status reports. He also billed exactly what he said he would bill. His sub-contractors were all well-selected and delivered quality work as well. When unforeseen circumstances arose - which they did - he provided clear, costed options. The team exercised the utmost care in all their work, and cleaned after themselves at the end of every day. We enjoyed working with Ben and his team so much that we didn't want them to leave. I was literally going through my head trying to find something else they could do.

LPC Construction worked with Paragon Kitchens to complete a full kitchen renovation over the Christmas holidays. Ben and his team did everything possible to minimize the stress and disruption on my family through the holidays. Ben and Sean have an excellent eye for details and are proactive and creative in solving problems as they arise. I have worked with several different contractors on various projects over the years and LPC is by far the best. Ben communicates clearly and frequently. His subtrades were excellent. I never had to worry because he is organized, on top of things and has a great attitude. The project took exactly the amount of time that they predicted even with delays due to weather and the Christmas holidays. I will definitely call LPC for my next project.

If you have a Heritage home and wish to work with someone who understands old homes and how to work with them sympathetically, then Ben and his crew are for you. Our project was very complex, taking an unfinished uninsulated attic space on the 4th floor and creating a usable mezzanine space while opening up part of it to the 3rd floor below. It required removing a wall and a chimney that went through the space and was technically challenging from an engineering perspective as two balconies - one on the 3rd and one on the 4th floor - were cut into the steeply pitched roof space. Ben has fantastic communication skills, keeps everyone updated on the same page including the architect, trades and myself and works well with all. And their workmanship is excellent. All his crew were a pleasure to have on site.

We contracted with LPC Construction to construct a fireplace surround and chimney (for our corner gas fireplace), paint our master bedroom, ensuite, hallways, install pot lights, and to do many smaller "fixes" around the house (including installing and hanging 9' curtains, towel racks, mirrors, etc.). We are extremely happy with the high level of service, quality of work, and overall care this company took to do the work. They really were committed to making sure we were pleased and happy with how the process was going and how the project(s) were looking every step of the way. LPC took our lack lustre corner fireplace and transformed it into a beautiful stone tile construction with chimney to the ceiling. Each piece of tile was cut to fit perfectly in a very pleasing design. When we had trouble finding a good piece of wood for the mantel, they offered to source it. They found a train rail for the mantelpiece and carved it to fit snugly in the corner -- no small feat! In addition, the paint job LPC did is stunning. They took great care so that now, no matter where we look, the lines are straight and the coverage perfect. No one would ever know that the master bedroom walls used to be dark brown, gold and rust! We could go on with many compliments, but the review would become a novel (which it almost already is). In closing, we'd just like to let potential clients know that LPC is a great company. They communicate well. And they take whatever steps are necessary to make you feel comfortable (like thoroughly covering and protecting our belongings; asking us regularly for feedback about the work). They are concerned that your home is as habitable as possible throughout the renovation process. They clean up after themselves each night, and are always careful as they work in the house. I don't think many contractors would be as sensitive to these sorts of issues as LPC clearly is. We highly recommend LPC and look forward to working with them for all of our housing renovation needs. We feel very fortunate to have found this dependable, resourceful general contractor who cares.

Their attention to detail and care ensured that the rather intricate project was a success. Having worked with LPC Construction (The Lime Plaster Company) on a couple projects spanning several months, I have only praise for Ben and his team. We recently completed a kitchen renovation partnered with Paragon Kitchens and LPC Construction. We could not be happier! Ben and his crew, Sean & Jim were amazing. There was constant ongoing communication, they were always on site when they said they would be and the site was always left in a tidy manner. Just prior to commencing our project, I made changes, I decided a wall needed to be removed…..I was a little worried how that would be received as there was a plan in place. Ben promptly assessed the changes, consulted an Engineer and quickly revised the action plan and made it happen all still within the scheduled time frame.
