Loved visiting this beautiful little cabin. The magic of the Bard's words floated through the place. I could imagine him here, enthralled and inspired by this enchanting town.

Jonathan Ostrander

It's really great to hear the Author's work recited in the shadow of his cabin and to be able to walk through a see how he lived. Open every day in the summer (usually for about an hour or two) for Parks Canada's program and cabin veiwing

Robert service. Nuff said. Fred does a great job explaining the guy's life and interpreting his poems and he's just so likeable. Also the cabin itself is crazy; nobody's lived there since Robert Service left in 1912 so it's hella preserved. No visit to Dawson City is complete without a stop here.

Blair Norton

I missed out on the guide retelling stories, still worth the time to visit.

Fred, the host, was amazing! He talked for an hour and I thought it was only a few minutes. He was absolutely the best!

Excellent and informational tour. The young man did an entertaining reading of a number of Robert Services poems and had a ton of additional stories to pass on (Aug 18/20).

Excellent presentation! Don't miss it. The guy telling the stories and reading the poetry is great.

The "Spell of the Yukon" is vibrantly brought to life at this quaint little cabin up on the east side of Dawson. The young lady who presented our program was full of passion. Her readings of Service's captivating prose combined with a tour of his 1909 to 1912 home painted a vivid picture of the bard of the Yukon.

Tom Friesen

Parka Canada had tour and readings of some lesser known stories/rhymes from Robert Service. Time well spent.

This was fabulous! Justin Aberly recited many of Robert Service's works in such a way it took our group of around thirty folks back in time. He also gave quite a lot of Robert Service history in an entertaining fashion throughout his recitings... We ALL enjoyed this and reccomend taking the time to listen to this gifted man talk about another gifted man!!!
