I have been working with Taraneh’s firm for the past 2 years on a complex historical building restoration / design project, downtown Montreal (Plateau Mont-Royal). The building, an historical architectural landmark on the Plateau, previously owned by one of the mayor of the city in the early 1900’s and was closely monitored by the city for any alterations and modifications that will alter the historical elements of the building. She has been a key contributor to the quality of the final result. Not only she was able to navigate the complexity of the rules and regulations of the Plateau Mont-Royal, she was able to inspire new ideas and key design alternatives within those constraints and parameters that led to a more modern, open, industrial design that we were looking for while preserving the historical quality of the building. Would highly recommend Taraneh and her firm for innovative designs and renovations on the Plateau Mont-Royal.

Our family recently finished a large project to redo most of our house. We throughly enjoyed working with the team at accordeon! Yahel and Taraneh took a lot of time to really understand what we were looking for. They were extremely patient and they didn’t rest until we had the plans that we were comfortable with. They brought amazing ideas to the table, and their plans really integrated a modern fresh style into an older contemporary home. Once we started the actual work, Yahel made sure the guide us every step of the way. I definitely recommend this team for designing your next construction project! She managed to magically create space and functionality in what was very little space while still keeping things very open and airy.
