Justin and his team were hired to do an emergency repair for a crack in our foundation. Due to circumstances beyond his control, he could not fix the crack as he wanted to. He and his crew were considerate and respectful of us and our home. Justin is an honest businessman, that tells it like it is. A few years ago, Justin did an extension for our concrete patio. This work was excellent!

With names like Emily Wang and QQ Dong it's not hard to see the illegitimate reviews. This one is real. We met Justin at the spring Chilliwack home and garden show. We hired Justin and his crew to do a back patio, sidewalks, front porch and large driveway after a renovation and home addition build. Their work was flawless. Of all the contractors and sub contractors we dealt with Schol's crew was the most professional, time efficient and conscientious. They were on time and on site when they said they would be. They even pointed out and fixed several errors caused by the other contractors (like drainage pipes running uphill instead of downhill) before placing the cement. It has been several months since completion and everything looks great. I highly recommend Schols for concrete finishing.

hiring justin was the biggest mistake we ever made, we were assured he knew what he was doing, clearly it not true, his foundation he put in was out 2 inches in 10 feet , air bubbles throughout the foundation, his workers left wood in the foundation which he had to remove after and fill in the giant holes , he did not look at the drawings , and had the anchor bolts all over the place and not enough, insisted on not putting the floor in , so the framer had nothing to go on as drawings clearly showed floor was to be put in before framing should start, front of forms did not line up to other side , broke our sewer pipe , so we had to get it replaced , hit our house numerous times making me go outside to see what the issue was and I could see he was very upset , I even told him to not dig the way he was digging as he could not see the sewer pipe , i was ignored . The foundation was not at the proper height , after we had the surveyors out 5 times , making the framers , forced to use bricks to make up the difference , the main beam posts supports crumbled away when he removed the supports , he did not install hurricane straps as per the drawing . Do your self a favor find another concrete company don't waste your money , he caused or project to blow well past our budget due to his sub standard work I regret hiring this company

I would rate 0 if I can. Justin and his crews have no idea what they are doing. He does not look at the drawings and did not follow any plan. The mistakes he and his crew mates made cost us twice the money we put in to fix it. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED for any one!

Justin and his team just replaced our driveway, front entry and steps and we are very happy. They made the place look amazing. The team was friendly, and arrived when they said they would. Justin was very responsive and accommodating, and made sure it was perfect to the end. We would highly recommend this local company if you're looking for quality and excellent follow up.

We had Schols do repair work for our company after we had an underground water main burst. Fast and efficient work done to the highest standard. Its unfortunate that a couple of people here are using these reviews to lie about Justin and his work as some kind of childish payback. My company wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

I bought them lunch most days cause I was so happy and impressed with the quality of workmanship and professionalism. They finished the job today which is sooner than I expected. Justin and his team were very professional from start to finish. We had Schols completely renovate our garden. Remove two retaining walls and all the turf in the back garden and then rebuild new concrete retaining walls, drainage and then grade the yard with 3/4” clear. Plus new stairs and walkway down the side of the house. Overall we are very happy with the work and will be having Schols back to replace the driveway next year. I would certainly recommend these guys.
