My old tank was leaking. I asked them to come and change it quickly. Yes they did so with excellent quality and price. Ladies at service desk and installation person (Mr. Dakota) did amazing work. He allowed me to install laminate and skirting before installtion. Plus he brought a custom tray to put it underneath the tank for protection. I am a senior architect so I know what I say. I appreciate their business. Please see the attached photo herewith. I am on my way now to bring Turkish Delight (Lokum) to your office. Cheers :))

Our Fireplace has been unresponsive ;-) I’ve been referred by the manufacturer of our fireplace to get in touch with the technicians working for John Mulder. I believe the receptionist’s name is Elaine. A wonderful person to deal with. They have found a technician shirt notice for us. Matthew the Technician has been very helpful too. Definitely recommend their service !

our experience with John Mulder Heating was amazing. over the holidays our furnace decided to quit working. Dec 27th I did a quick google search and came up with 4 Chilliwack companies to call. the first two were closed until the holidays were over. the 3rd was booking for Jan. crossed my fingers and tried the last. SUCCESS. the pleasant lady manning the phones told me they had a technician in our area, Cultus Lake, that day and she would have him stop by. shortly after I got a call from Dakota saying he had arrived in the area and could stop by in 5/10 minutes. he quickly diagnosed the problem and lucky for us he had the part (an ignitor) with him. fate probably had a hand in everything lining up perfectly but I am still very much impressed that from beginning to end our furnace problem was solved in only a few hours and both staff I interacted with were friendly and professional. I would absolutely recommend John Mulder Heating to friends/neighbours

Called to fix and service our tankless hot water heater. Tech shows up and spends time on phone asking brand company to diagnose what’s wrong with our tank. After 10-15 mins tells us what needs to be done to repair and charges 120.00 just for showing up. Told to call office after to get quote for repair plus parts or price for new one. Insulted by office saying I never asked for service when first called ( which I did) and also can’t give me exact quote because not sure how many hours labour would be after tech told me 3 hours max. All I wanted was a price with installation either with repairing or replacing and they couldn’t and were hesitant to give me a confirm price. So needless to say...going elsewhere.

Not even worth the one star. We are local and called them because the contact was on furnace, what a mistake. Asked if they could come see if our furnace was working properly they said ; "sure we have a guy in the area. He's shows up check filter, says we need a new one and leaves and doesn't even replace the filter! Then to add insult to injury they charge $120 for an hour of work that took 1 minute.. wtf¿ If they are going to charge for a house call they should tell you. I'll gladly pay anyone twice as much than be insulted like that again.

Tried to book a water heater replacement. Was quoted a price but I needed specifics on the tank they would install as I have specific size requirements that are non standard. A week later I had not recieved a call back, so I called again and explained no one had called me back. Again I gave the measurement requirements for the new tank. Two days later I still had not heard back, so I booked with another company. They called me back the same day after finding a tank to suite my needs. A week later, on the day my new tank was to be installed, I finally got a call back offering to discuss what my needs were for my tank. It's worth noting that John Mulder was my highest price quote, and I had planned to go with them, but there was no follow through. A competitor from Sardis provided me excellent customer service.

This company came to our address for 5 minutes and expected my wife to pay 120 .00 service call without fixing anything. This was in Dec we then went with out heat till February because they failed to contact us or follow up with the right part or anything. Now they are trying to take us to collections...they sent me a quote to fix my fireplace and quoted 400.00 more than what i had it fixed for...These people are crooks.

I called the office and told them that my 93 year old mothers furnace was not starting. As I live in Surrey and could not get out right away and I asked if they could send a technician out. Within an hour someone was there. It was a simple fix . I greatly appreciated the quick response. Everyone was very friendly and professional.

Mathew was amazing, he spend a lot of time meticulously going through all different areas to identify and fix the root of the problem with our AC. I am glad we called them, we are in the middle of a heat wave just weeks later and the AC has been working flawlessly.

This company is a scam. Three weeks after installing a central AC it didn't work. I kept calling for a tech to came by and fix it but good luck. The technician come to talk about the problem not to fix it. Apparently the unit is a peace of carb. Don't waste your time and money with them

John Mulder Heating was able to give us an appointment same day for a broken furnace. Service tech called 20 minutes ahead of time to advise he was on his way. Matt was punctual, his work was clean and he took the time to check on everything and was happy to answer our questions. On the way out he also helped us out with programming a new wifi thermostat to make our furnace run as it should. This is the second time we have used this company. The first time was the installation of central air. Their prices are as quoted and very reasonable. All employees we have encountered are professional, clean, knowledgeable and go the extra mile. Emailed for a quote on a regular furnace maintenance and fireplace service. Got a reply back same day and booked my service right then and there. Calvin showed up right on time, and went to work right away. He was very thorough and tested everything to make sure it was working properly. These guys are awesome, our furnace went on Wednesday evening. I called them at 8:30am Thursday and the owner Kelly was at our house by 9:30am and we had a quote by 10am. They showed up the following Monday but offered to get our furnace going in the meantime. When the two showed up to install they arrived right at 8:30am and were gone by 4pm. Highly recommend these guys, they made the burden of getting a new furnace a breeze. Still waiting for a call back from the other companies I called last week. This is how all businesses should be run!

The motor on our furnace went and they pre ordered what we needed. Showed up and did the install. Had another issue we didn’t know about, and had to text the tech the next morning at 530. Answered right away and made time for us that morning. Easy fix but made all the difference in the world. This is the second time we have used them and have been beyond happy both times. Excellent business to deal with and really care about their customers.

I turned on my furnace for the first time since the spring and my furnace was quite noisy called John Mulder because they had excellent reviews, they sent Dakota he checked out my furnace did some tests and thought it was most likely the fan motor but said he didn't want to replace it at this point and to just call him back if it got noisy. He gave me a quote on this part and also assured me that it was safe to run our furnace. Dakota was pleasant and professional and I will absolutely call and request him again. He could have simply changed the part but didn't think it was necessary, thanks for being so honest Dakota.
