Excellent spot to take the kids to play, in the summer it's a fun fast way to cool them down and socialize with others. You can rent pavilions at an affordable price for birthday parties or reunions or whatever you need. It's well kept and maintained. Many neat things to consider like work out stations and trails along with events are hosted here as well as well.

It's a really big park with outdoor gym equipment, a splash pad for the kids, which is pretty awesome. The city runs summer camps for the kids here. Lots of play equipment that kids seems to love

I just learned today that the play equipment is tapped off because there is a nest of ducklings living in there. I love that the city tapped it off for this reason and that the people (that I saw today, anyway) were obeying this guide. Go Chatham!

This park is stunning. It has a huge splash pad area during the hot months, a wonderful outdoor gym, and hills and paths galore. There's parking right next to the splash pads and playground. There are also a few picnic tables.

I grew up playing in this park and it was a great place to learn the facts of like. Now that I'm older and have a kid of my own, I find that the park had actually got even better with all the updates that were done about ten years back. There's a lot more variety in the play equipment, they have a sweet splash pad, the amphitheatre is a great place to take in movies (wherever we can start doing that again), the walking paths have been expanded and I can go on and on.

Amazing place. It's huge! There's 2 spots with sprinklers which is awesome. They have 3 sets of play equipment and each one is for different ages. This is so fantastic if you have smaller kids. There is also a spot with exercise equipment at the back and lots of paths to walk, jog or bike on. Seems like a lot of activities go on here as well. Oh and the washrooms. Sooo nice. Spacious and even a change area. Love this park.

Visiting from out of town, I was looking for a good place to get in my fitness component, while visiting family at Christmas. I am an advanced single track trail runner from Muskoka, and as I found, any decent looking trails (in the Chatham area) were a good drive from my downtown location. I was told of this local park from a dog walker. I assumed when going, I'd just be doing some paved path moderate running. Well, to my surprise:) .. this park offers much, much MORE! As a 49 yr old back country trail runner, agility and strength training is very important to me. What I thought would be a casual maintenance fitness day turned into a aggressive afternoon of great fun and challenge. There is plenty in this urban park to get in a full outdoor workout. Hills, steps and long stretch raised curbs made this an exciting little park for doing my thing. I loved it so much, I had to go back... on the same day, lol. With a little creativity, I was able to walk out of this park satisfied, as I ever am running my favourite glorious home trails. I was pleasantly surprised! This is a nice little Chatham outdoor fitness park, for those looking for any level of workout challenge, a destination for kids to play, or to just go for a casual walk. This park has it all covered! This is kind of a bad analogy for the health minded post I'm leaving here.. but I was a kid in a candy store!

This is an AMAZING park!!! The splash pad is the best I've ever seen and great for all ages!! There are three big play structures again, something for all ages. There are outdoor exercise machines and a lovely running/walking trail around and through the whole park. Bring a lunch and stay all day!

Kingston is the best park in chatham, they have plenty of playgrounds, splash pad, lots of room to run around for the kids. Theres lots of paths, sitting areas & parking, bathrooms & even a water fountain. In the winter, huge hill to go sledding. If you're into that type of thing they also have some pokemon go spots and gyms.

Ample parking. we live almost an hour away and we'll drive to Chatham specifically in order to visit Kingston park. I definitely recommend going there especially if you have kids.

Always a good time at Kingston park. Wide open spaces to run around and have fun. Nice paths are in for some cardio exercise or just to leisurely stroll around the park. The play equipment is well maintained and provides great challenges to keep kids entertained. In the summer there is also an incredible splash pad here. With all of the picnic pavilions Kingston park is always a great choice to host family gatherings or celebrate outdoors in a nice clean inviting space. You can easily spend hours here enjoying family time. Also let's not forget the giant tobogganing hill :). Everything a kid needs to have a blast at the park.

I've lived in Chatham a long time and as a senior I've recently taken up walking daily to maintain my health. Recently I've discovered Kingston Park is the ideal place for my walks. Absolutely beautiful and so well maintained! I don't have young children but if I did this would definitely be the place to take them. In the summer they operate an amazing water pad/play area. Lots of picnic tables as well so bring your lunch!

Great park with lots of different areas for kids to play. A bit on the larger side, so it can be hard to watch your kids if they move around a lot. The water park stopped around 2pm, not sure if they take breaks for the water, but it was a nice opportunity to cool down inside in the air conditioning. We will definitely go back again!

The park could have been better maintain the garbage facilities the bathrooms, the availability of shaded areas there should be some type of vending on sight in case parents want to buy water if they run out the fountain was pretty filthy just not a good Park I I would I will bring my my kids there because the only one in Chatham but it's poorly maintained

I cant believe that this place is for free.. Great place to take your kids. Also if you're looking for a good spot to have a party this is it.. Look out for smelly bathrooms though.

Omg!! Beautiful amazing place. Multiple play areas and nature areas. Something for everyone. Splash pad too! Two types of swings for special needs. Plastic with the over they head plastic piece and one with more of a carseat type restraint. Absoulety amazing!!!!

I like Kingston Park because there are lots of play areas as well as a splash pad. You can also hike/jog on the trail that surrounds the park. Perfect place for busloads or to bring your family!
