Very disappointing that you don't update your business hours on the web site. Drove from Belle River to your Garden Centre only to find out that it was all closed up on a Sunday. It was such a waste of time and gas.

I have been going to the Glasshouse Nursery and Betuila for a few years now, and I have never been disappointed! You can literally spend an entire afternoon there...never leaving empty handed! There is something special about shopping at a local family business, and always seeing a familiar friendly face. Thanks for all your gardening advice over the years!

Impossible to navigate. Majority of the staff were unfriendly and unhelpful - however I did overhear a very nice person discussing the benefits of healthy nematode populations in soil which is why it's not 1 star. Huge variety of plants, and other kitsch, the kitsch and "other" category far outweigh the simple joy of browsing well cared for, interesting and visually stunning plants. Dismayed to find huge quantities of salt deposits on the leaves of delicate tropical plants, very sensitive to this ill treatment. It also means that after purchase they require more upkeep and TLC to rebound. Once wiped the leaves still had the salt deposits, indicating either that the water is not filtered or that they are watered from above with sprinklers which are known to cause mildew. Many succulents were getting leggy straining to find light, and had signs of stress. Prices were on par with other bland, huge garden centres like Terra Greenhouses. Lack of signage, smug staff (bordering on rude/clueless), and how much product you have to wade through to find anything green, is definitely a source of frustration, and I'm sure it impacts sales as customers don't usually appreciate being banged on the head by thousands of products, with little to no organization, no clear easy path to "plants" or "greenhouse" despite the name. Amusing that no signage referring to inside the giant, circuitous labyrinth was met with "here are signs outside showing where plants are". Have some big, labeled, visible maps in every showroom. And publicly insulting customers is not the way to do business. I'd suggest reviewing Google maps' terms of service ????

This place was amazing in helping us find one of a kind planter's for our front porch! We looked all over and couldn't find anything. I called this place- they were amazingly helpful over the phone, Jen B emailed with me back and forth, sending photos of their product and answering all my questions! We ultimately made the 2 hour drive to pick up the products we liked! Crazy.. I know... But SOOO WORTH IT! They look great! Thanks glasshouse nursery...we will be back :) :) :)

I just had a load of sand delivered by Ayden. I just wanted to make sure his manager knows what a wonderful experience it was. First I opened my front door and my dog went to run out and he quickly grabbed the dog for me. He helped me move the few bricks that hold our big gate closed. He was absolutely on point with backing up the truck into the perfect spot and made sure all the sand was completely out of the back of the truck. The whole time he was very polite and carried a kind conversation. Overall a fantastic experience, great job ayden!

So grateful that such cute and friendly shops still operate.while other stores place high expections on the grate big corprations who do not place coumstomer services first, Glasshouse Nurseries is a wounderfully peraonal shopping experience. Love love love the Glasshouse! Always so peaceful with the several different spaces to explore (the patio, nursery, greenhouse, showroom, etc, and SO MUCH outdoor space). It's like walking through a park. I also love how if they're all out of a plant that you really wanted, they will take down your information and call you when they get it back in.

Edit: I’ll give another chance next time I come over then The store is great, they have a huge selection of everything of yard, being there I felt my very excited in getting our backyard looking nicer this summer The reason I gave 3 stars was bc when I got there I needed to use their wifi which they have 2 wifi signals, one for them and one for “guests”, both locked When I asked for the password for the “glasshouse guest” the lady said they simply couldn’t give it to me bc apparently it would make the internet slow, and I needed to search for ideas

Just want to say thank you to Sue and everybody at The Glasshouse for their help, kindness and great communication while distance-buying our seeds this week. We were able to order what we needed and pick it up quickly and easily using their curb side pick-up. It was very well organized and definitely focussed on keeping employees and customers safe. Can't wait to be able to stroll around the nursery again soon, but until then, we have everything we need to grow our veggies this summer.

Good variety of items and plants but poor customer service. You have to hunt someone down just to get them to help you. And they are not very friendly. There also a huge lack in labels for plants. Most plants are not labeled with a name, let alone care instructions. Probably won't go back.

I purchased a swing set for my wife for a birthday present from Glasshouse Nursery, during the winter i misplaced one of the springs. I went into the store and spoke directly with Dave the owner, he explained that the manufacturer was no longer in business but would try other swing set companies to solve my problem. I do realize it was my fault but Dave offered to help me, i have emailed him, spoke to him directly in the store after our initial meeting, and to this day haven't received an email. I did send him another email recently with no response. The swing cost approximately $500 dollars....so i will take my money to someone that at least follows through with their word

I enjoy going to the Glasshouse, they have lots of different plants and their staff are friendly and helpful. However they are fairly expensive compared to some other places. I like going here to look around, but find myself going other places to actually purchase plants at a lesser price. Again good customer service!

Once again we had the Glasshouse doing upgrades in our backyard. As always a very professional job. Very neat and tidy with minimal disturbance to grass and existing landscape. They have transformed our backyard into an oasis. When i show the pics of the backyard i always get the same comment that it looks amazing and i am happy to tell them that the Glasshouse has done the work. Thanks again to Dave, Simon and their entire team for all their hard work. I highly recommend the Glass House for their creativity, professionalism and quality work.

Went to glasshouse house AUG. 4TH @ 10:50 today .. clothing store ... their debit or credit was not working ... so they wrote down information... I don't have problem with that ... but when I asked if the info would be shredded when they inputted the info... I was told yes .. as I was leaving the cashier whispered something to the other sales person and they started to laugh !!!! If your going to laugh at customers maybe do it when the customer is out of ear shot .. or JUST CURB YOUR TONGUE !!!!! Its going to be awhile before I go back there and that's just sad cause they have some great stuff... but I'll be spending my money elsewhere for awhile !!!

Excellent choice of plants. Very helpful staff if you can't find the plant you want they either know where it is or they can tell you if they have it. Join the Garden Club save 5% on all purchases over $25. Excellent plant warranty not that you usually have to use it because I've never had any of their plants die when I taken care of them properly. If you're not sure what plants are compatible for the kind of yard you have ask and they can tell you if it's going to grow at your house. I don't think I buy any plants elsewhere

I called to order black stones for landscaping. I couldn’t get out to look at the stone so they told me to look at the stone online. I did that and picked out black stone and ordered it for delivery. When I got home the stone was in my driveway but it was grey not black. When I called the store they said wash it off it has dust on it and it should be black. I did that and made no difference. I called and they said come to the store they would look after it. I went to the store and the gentlemen who I think was the owner or partner said you should look before you buy. We left and will never go back. We paid over 300$ for grey stone that they said was black and ended up painting the stone black with spray bombs. Looks good now but from now on we will spend our money at pebbles.

Paid $130 for a large monstera that had a fungal issue and started dying immediately. This ended up killing 5 other plants that I've kept alive for years. They told me no fungal issue could spread from plant to plant, and there was nothing they would do as tropicals they don't guarantee. This is a difficult plant to find and one of my favourites but ended up being a couple hundred dollar mistake. Very upsetting UPDATE I was initially told it was overwatering on my part. I've kept a few of those plants alive for years and changed nothing. I was told on phone that no fungus could spread from plant to plant like that. I was then told it was an airborne fungus. I was told two completely conflicting things, but also that they weren't making excuses and they are experts. Would also prefer you remove my full name from your review

The setup here is amazing with anything from home decor to greenhouse plants and pots. It is a lot of fun to browse and discover things. Today I especially liked the fairy garden. Definitely a place to look for gifts!!

I have always loved this place. Came in fall for decor, it was so cold inside i left and bought nothing. Just took my Mom all the way from leamington and we were shaking because it was freezing in there. I usually spend around 300 here just at this time year. We left once again buying nothing because it was so cold inside. I heard several people complaining how cold it was. There loss, maybe should hire a student to wipe off the door handle throughout the day!
