When we bought a less than perfect home in our perfect location, my husband and I knew we were going to need a great deal of help in bringing our dreams to reality. We had no idea what to expect working with an architect and perused many websites, social media venues and reviews. Thankfully we found Dory and somehow instinctively knew this was our guy. From our very first video chat interaction, Dory and his team were professional and genuine. From our conversations and emails back and forth (during Covid time communication was not the easiest!), Dory listened to every detail of our wish lists, combined his architectural talent and vast knowledge with our vague ideas of what we wanted, and came up with the house of our dreams. Through drawings and immersive 3D renderings, were able to “walk through” our new home and visualize the completed project. Not only was Dory able to accurately envision our crazy ideas, he took care of engineering, drawings and permits to make our experience easy and hassle free. He suggested changes and tweaks that made the design better than we could have imagined. He was honest, upfront and direct in letting us know what was realistic and not. This was critical for us, as it eliminated any issues the builder may have encountered right from the beginning. The detailed documentation and plans provided by Dory allow the construction team to understand the project from the get-go, without question. Personally, Dory is attentive, professional and extremely knowledgeable, while his assistant, Melissa, is very positive, friendly and great with communication. Dory is always an email or phone call away to answer our questions no matter how insignificant or trivial they are, and in fact, checks in on a regular basis during the build to ensure we are confident and happy throughout the process. Although Dory’s work is technically done, he is always there to answer any questions we or the builder may have. Dory and the Azar team are absolutely incredible. We enthusiastically recommend their first class services for architectural design.

How grateful we are for Dory and his team! He took our existing home and created a design that suited all our wants and needs both functionally and aesthetically - something I never thought was possible given the constraints of working on an existing structure.
