Did more damage to our yard and house foundation than actual improvement. Left a big hole in our yard for months. Getting him to come out and finish the job is like pulling teeth. I would not even give this company one star. Buyer beware!!!

Buyer beware....if you’re looking for a company that does quality work, and fully stands behind it, keep looking. We hired Josh, the owner of Distinctive Grading, to put rocks down on our yard to prevent fragmites from growing. He suggested rocks, and guaranteed nothing would grow through them, so we trusted him, he did the work, we paid him, and he left. DAYS after he put rocks down, fragmites started growing. I contacted Josh to come fix it, and I was completely understanding of his backlog due to the rain, I just wanted to be on the books for when they were available to do the repair. After reaching out to him several times, and Josh promising to come “that week”, he never showed and stopped responding to my texts and messages. Lesson learned, read the reviews and trust the feedback from other customers. Had we done that, we would have gone with a more reputable landscaper that stands by their work.

Had a good experience with Josh and his team. They did a great job on our paver driveway, ledgestone retaining wall and ledgestone stairs to our front porch. Constantly getting compliments on how the house looks. The job took a little longer to complete due to weather issues and FEMA/government issues that we ran into because of building on the water.

We likewise had a horrible experience with Josh. He did an incomplete and shoddy project for us for over $12K cash! Do not pay this person until the job is complete and for the love of God read the ripoff reports on this guy! This is not a good person and certainly not a professional. Save yourself a major headache and look elsewhere!
