What a lovely theatre. It has been restores to remarkably glorious condition. If there is an event there you'd like to see, do not hesitate: te atmosphere, the acoustic, the whole vibe of the place is memorable. We just saw Canadian Brass and it was magnificent.

The Capitol Theatre is a jewel of downtown Chatham. They will frequently have shows that travel to larger centres. I have been to many productions at the theatre and have always been impressed with the quality of the shows.

Great architecture in this historic building, cozy venue for live shows. They serve good drinks on the upper level. They did however waste a tonne of cash on renovating this theatre. With no return for the community. It doesn't attract any big names or well known people. The beat show that's been their is a Penn and teller show, This venue is not as historical as the appollo. It's mediocre at best in the sad attempt at luring any tourist.

Beautiful theatre with so much to choose from in their yearly booklet. From plays, to pretty darn good bands. The wine tasting paired with the play was my favorite event of 2018. Always spotless from the from entrance to the seats to the bathrooms. The staff are always there to help you with your seating if need be. Wine and beer are usually offered for most events.

Excellent place to go for a movie or concert. Lovely 1920's restoration of a classic old theatre. And my dad, son, and I put the tile floors in the dressing rooms in the basement. I watched movies there as a kid, helped with the restoration and love when I get a chance to go see a performance there.

The theatre is the pretty great for Chatham-Kent in my opinion. My daughter's performance team participated in The Dance Rage competition held there. The seating was comfortable. Plenty of room for stretching backstage.

Great little place to go. Took the kids there to see mini pop kids. Theatre is clean with very friendly staff. Parking wasn't to bad either. It's very nice inside and very warm which was nice since it was freezing outside. I'd definitely go back to see something else.

Saw I Mother Earth and Finger Eleven here back in January this year and they put an amazing show! It's a beautiful place and it's great for concerts, plays, Broadway shows and all sorts of events with very friendly staff and it's a nice, clean environment! I would recommend this place and 3 musicians and bands I really want to come play here are Sum 41, The Glorious Sons and Seether!

What a great place to see a show! Parking was easy and free. Staff was professional, friendly and helpful. The building itself has been beautifully renovated. The theatre is fairly small, so you are very close to the performers and don't have to deal with huge crowds. We went early and had dinner next door at Frendz Tapas and Martini Lounge to make for a great evening out. Highly recommended.

It's a beautiful theatre, and the $5 movies on Wednesday are a great, budget friendly option. However, the cover band events aren't a big draw. Its a shame that such a beautiful building is so under utilized.

A lovely venue. Very clean, well maintained good helpful staff and the acoustics were good making it easy to hear Burton Cummings and see him. Have been there before for the Queen tribute show and was equally pleased with the performance. While I do not drink I was pleased to se a refreshment bar that caters to alcoholic and non alcoholic. Bathrooms were fair and clean so that is always a plus but quite bland. The seating could use some updating as the seats were for an older time and they were flip seats, small and probably uncomfortable for heaftier people. Leg roo would have been nice but it was alright.

Unfortunately it was poorly managed! One of the spectators stepped on my arm!!!! I was sitting in my seat too. Surprised he didn't spill his beer on me. Plus a few other disgusting things happened. I called to report what happened but never heard back from the manager.
