I've worked at Rick Balbi Architecture Ltd. for the month of August, during 2012. It was my first serious job in Calgary. I was responsible for imaging architectural paper plans archives and making sure that all the required documentation was safely backed up. I was always treated with great respect and I had the chance to work in one of the most pleasant work environment. Indeed, I was working right next to a 300 square foot japanese fish pond, adjacent to a nice inside jungle ! Yes, that is where I was performing my "office" work. Not the typical office, so much better ! I was also happy to share my time with experienced professional, from which I got a taste of architectural management. All I could see what happy customers walking in and out the door, with a smile on their face. I would recommend Rick Balbi's service even if is reputation was golden before I was born. Indeed, many of the people I've met in Calgary so far, my landlord for example, had already heard of this firm's efficiency.

Terrible employer!! Just set up to fail. No proper training given, and to many things are assumed. They ASSUMED I didnt like my job there, after never talking to me and never even asking me if I liked it. No one talked to me in the whole 3 weeks I was there. No one even tried to get to know me and no one gave me the time of day. They ASSUMED I wasn't happy there and let me go. Just in time for my Rent to come up and have now left me homeless. Way to go guys!! ????
