We hired EW for a complete interior and exterior remodel of our split level home. We were first-timers to home remodelling, and from beginning to end we counted on Erica's guidance (and patience, and counselling) as we faced the thousands of decisions that go into a renovation. Erica took the time to understand our needs and preferences, and to apply that understanding to the design of a new house with open floor plan, higher ceilings, wood beams, and walls of glass in exactly the right places to capture the Vancouver light. The result is a house that feels like a perfect fit for our family, matching our tastes, our idiosyncratic likes and dislikes, in every way. Starting from the very beginning, Erica guided us skillfully through a variance process with the district that was necessary to achieve her architectural vision within the constraints of our pre-existing structure, then she made the permitting process as easy and painless as possible. She answered our questions and addressed our concerns in a timely way, often within just an hour or two of asking, and proactively brought up points for us to consider and prepare for. We were fortunate to be introduced to Erica by our contractor, who spoke highly of her abilities. Erica designed a full home renovation with some very creative additional floor space for us.
