I have used Sherwin-Williams many times, the Belleville store is the worst customer service I have ever received. The sales associate that assisted me was condescending and seemed irritated to be helping me. For example after asking a question her response was "If I knew, I would have told you what to do." I was also surprised how she treated the other associate in the store, I believe he was new or in training. She publicly criticised him infront of customers. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable shopping experience. I returned all items of my purchase that I could (can't return tinted paint) and I will not shop at this location again.

Here is the thing Sherwin-Williams is not the cheapest paint! That said I don't think I could ever buy paint from another store again after dealing with the staff here! Let's start with the fact they all remembered my name after my second visit! I was an inexperienced painter so I had lots of questions and every single one of the staff was more then willing to help me answer all of them! I really can't say enough good things about the staff here! A special thanks to Trisha who always went out of her way to help me!

UPDATE: was contacted by store manager asking to provide my contact details for follow-up, then they never bothered following up. Original review: I called to inquire about purchasing a paint sample. The associate was noticeably annoyed by my request and stated they could not provide a sample due to not having the correct bases (mind you, they did not even bother asking me which paint colour I wanted a sample of, so how would you know right away the sample wasn't possible?). When I called back moments later to clarify that the specific colour I wanted wasn't possible to mix, the associate gave me even more attitude. No offer was made to provide a sample when the base issue was resolved, it was very obvious the person I spoke with couldn't care less about my request. Extremely unimpressed.

I made the cardinal decorator's mistake of painting a "not-so-perfect" wall with eggshell paint which highlighted every imperfection. Dave at Sherwin-Williams not only sold me a perfect flat paint but threw in a gorgeous paintbrush and 2 new rollers for free. I couldn't be happier!

Staff was not very knowledgeable about what is in their store. I asked if they carry wallpaper and the female staff looked around the store for 5 minutes before asking if they even carry wallpaper! Need better training, I'll stick with my current paint store.

Sherwin William's products are by far superior to so many paint companies. Bright, clean store, Sherwin Williams Belleville always does a great job of balancing a fairly unglamorous industry with a modern and trendy store. The colour choices Sherwin William's offers are gorgeous! Before you shop or browse, checking the Sherwin Williams website or Pintrest site will help you narrow your focus....allowing you to have a better idea of what you are looking for. Top tip, if you are stuck between a few colours, buy a couple of their Colour to Go...which are little plastic jars of paint colour so you can swatch before dedicating yourself to one colour you might regret. Because the store itself isn't huge, make sure to ask an employee if there is a product or item you are looking for but can't seem to see on the floor. Chances are they have it, or could try and source it for you!!

Over the phone order did not provide me with the products I asked for. Maybe different when you can go in. **Update: After completing this review and a customer satisfaction survey the manager reached out to me (the next day). He listened to my concerns and then provided me with a different product that will meet my needs. I am very happy with the customer service I received. I have yet to try the product itself, but was glad to have a store manager who listened and was able to swap out the product.

I have no complaints about this store ! I received amazing customer service. After having rude customer service from the paint department at lowes i called sherwin williams. They allowed me to take a book home with every single colour they sell for the weekend. Once i had my colours picked they gladly provided paint swatches and calling and ordering the paint was a breeze they were very knowledgeable and made sure the price was reasonable.
