This was a pleasant surprise. We had some time to kill and decided to check out this mansion. The furniture is pretty much as impressive as the house. The ceilings in some of the rooms, and the staircase, are amazing. The stories about the family were interesting, as well as the exhibit on the maids that lived and worked there. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

This is an excellent Manor built in the late 1800's. It is constantly being restored and is a pleasure to visit. They host many events from tours to school trips, afternoon tea. Please take the time and visit this beautiful home.

I love Glanmore house the place is old but beautifully kept inside and outside I've only been inside once or twice but it's beautiful the employees do a great job. I hear it could be haunted and honestly i think a haunted glanmore tour around Halloween could be really fun and they could make a lot of money from it. So I'd give it a 5 star rating truly a beautiful place and worth a visit.

Very worthwhile historical tourist attraction - with a surprisingly large floor space of meticulously maintained original and replicated furnishings. If you like history and museums, you'll find yourself intrigued by the originality and intricate detail put into the historically accurate renovations. The staff is VERY knowledgeable about all aspects of the estate, from design and typical use of the many areas of the house for entertaining to architectural features. None of my questions (often relating to very specific aspects) were left unanswered. This is a hidden gem that took me by surprise, as I expected that there would be far less to experience considering only hearing about it in 2016.

Glanmore National Historic Site is an elegant and beautifully exhibited historic high-society building that takes about half an hour to visit. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking spots are slightly limited.

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the history and the details, and were able to answer every question about the house, the history of it, and the restoration steps. As first time visitors to Belleville, this was on my list of places to visit. From the outside the mansion is impressive. We visited towards the end of November so inside Glanmore, it is decorated for a Victorian Christmas! As if the year round display wasn't enough having the Christmas elements incorporated was just lovely. We couldn't believe the treasures within, and the way they were displayed. The volunteer and curator were a wealth of information and so happy to share stories and history with us. We were told about the display showing the history of the Belleville Fire Department at the Firehall, so we went to visit that as well. Don't miss visiting Glanmore when you are here!
