Very cute spot in some classic architecture dating back to 1860 with modern renovations. The surrounding town is very chic. Wine was full of flavour and the service was great!

Gotta be the worst winery out there. Awful experience. Do not waste your time. We had a booked wine tasting...the server stated he was sitting us in VIP but what that meant was that we got put in a corner and never spoken to. There was no explanation about any of the wines and no passion or love for the wine or the experience. We randomly checked off what wines we might like to sample on a check sheet. The sheet was taken by the server and then he arrived back with four samples of wine in plastic cups for us each to try (on a flight). The wines were not nice or palatable. And there were 6 of us in the party and majority of our wine was left on the table. The server did not even think to inquire why there was still a full table of wine when we were leaving, but seemed happy to take our money. Our parents did like a couple of the wines and made some purchases but the purchases were made because they wanted the wine and not because we had any kind of nice experience at Cave Springs. We had been at a couple smaller wineries before going to Cave Springs and felt so happy as every other place was so excited to share their wines with us and explain all the little details and create a wonderful experience for us. I feel like Cave Springs has gotten too big to care. We all agreed that the experience actually felt yucky and that their guests were more like intruders . Also the prices were not impressive because we got very little wine and had a $20 bill per person. It's quite a bit to pay when the experience was so sad. Places gone massively downhill and I will never support it again

Duo d'Amore

Our string duo, trio and string quartet has performed both at the location downtown Jordan (wedding ceremonies, private events)and at the two sites in the Cave Spring Vineyard just down the road. Both locations are unique and interesting, well worth looking at if you are planning an event in the Niagara area. Highly recommended.

Best winery in the region. The staff are beyond amazing. They will sit with newbies to wine and explain subtle differences. I learned to appreciate wine here. The owners are also amazing. They are approachable, down to earth and full of passion for the wines they make. If you're in the region, make it a point to come to Jordan.

We like their Reisling but went there for a tasting and was disappointed. Not by the server, who was friendly, knowledgeable and followed Covid protocols, but by the price. 20 bucks for one small tasting of 4 wines? Seriously? Because of that, we only wanted one between the two of us but the server said it was policy not to provide one for two people. She let us in the end. We bought two bottles of wine and there was no discount on the wine. A once common practice in the region. Not likely to go back to taste others.

Always a lovely experience in the tasting room! We made our reservation ahead of time. Wore our masks until we were actually tasting the wines and were so grateful to the wonderful staff - so helpful, attentive and informative. We learn something new every time we go. Supporting our favourite businesses is always important, and even more so now. Took home 7 bottles and we’ll be back - thank you!

Beautiful place but found the tastings a bit expensive, 3 small tastings for $10. Charcuterie was very good however. Cave Springs has been known to declare their wines as vegan however when pressed for details about this process both people working there did not have a clear answer backing up this claim and seemed quite unknowledgeable about it.

Their Riesling is my favourite wine from Ontario. The store is located in a very beautiful town and is especially nice to go visit on a summer weekend. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and make it a pleasure to visit.

Tasting overlooking the vineyard is fantastic. They gave an excellent selection of wines by the glass or in a tasting flight. The new 200 ml four packs are cool. If you're there you have to try the Rose estate. Third release and each year just gets better

Another absolutely fabulous experience! Our 3rd time here for the 7 course Tasting Menu specially prepared by the Chef and this was the vest! Challenging to pick a winner but the nod has to go to the first course: Asparagus Spears with gently poached Duck Egg. Sublime! Thanks to all of you for helping us celebrate our 10th anniversary.

They serve you really well during the tasting of their wines. Taste up to 4 wines per person and tasting fees will be waived upon purchase of 2 bottles. Loved the small charcuterie plate that you can order for a reasonable price. Rieslings and Chardonnays are good. Avoid the reds.

Difficult to find, not the friendliest service. You are not permitted to try wines in the lcbo which was disappointing. A sample of 3 wines was $7.

Cave Spring Winery offered indoor tastings for their flights ($20 for a flight of 4 wines). It was an enjoyable experience as the wine associate explained the history behind the Cave Spring Winery as it was situated in a lovely little heritage strip next to galleries, boutique shops and hotel. The staff were helpful and friendly. Everyone wore their masks. Overall, a very good experience.

Such a disappointment after years of visiting. Of course the situation is so very different this year but had we known the tasting was $20 ($10 at most other wineries) and that this cost was regardless of any purchases made afterward. It has never been like this before and we would have skipped Cave Spring all together if we knew this in advance. Not to mention there were only a small variety of wines available for sampling. You’ve been so much better than this for years. Not sure we will be back.
