I just wanted to say thank you for the help I received a few weeks ago. I had a juvenile bearded dragon who went from perfectly healthy to on the verge of death in a matter of minutes. I panicked and called all around looking for a vet who could help me, I either got no answer, or I was told the earliest I could come in was the next day, next week, etc,. This Veterinarian clinic answered the phone on like the second ring, told me to come in in 20 minutes, and had my baby boy in within half an hour of making the call. When I got there it was by no means quiet but they still came out and took him almost as soon as I arrived. There was nothing that they could do for my lizard, he hardly had a pulse when I arrived and they came out and told me he would likely not make it. They let me come in and sit with him until he died, and when I expressed my fears that I would take him home to bury him and he would still be alive the vet (I’m sorry I was really in a state I don’t remember her name) told me she could give him some euthanasia to ensure that he was gone free of charge. I’m 22, I was home alone when I found him that sick and i had nobody with me while I waited for my pet to pass away, nobody even knew I was at the vet until after I went home. But the women working on this day were all incredibly kind to me and it made me feel a little less alone. Anyways thank you to everyone at this clinic, this was an awful day for me and I’m grateful to you all for making it easier, and I certainly don’t think any other vet would have done this for free. Even though my pet did not make it I had a good experience here, the staff clearly care about the animals they work with and I would highly recommend.

My grandpas dogs eye was almost completely closed, and they found he had pink eye (did not know that dogs could get pink eye, new information) they were amazing. I personally only talked to the receptionist, was told it would be an week before he got in, then got in on friday (of last week)!! Amazingly friendly to talk to.

I brought my dog in for sand ingestion while on vacation in Midland. Penetanguishine Pet Hospital were able to get my dog in quickly. Staff were very courteous, and Dr. Watson was super knowledgeable and friendly. After exam care instructions were clear and concise. They had my dog feeling better before we even left the clinic and the prices were more than reasonable! If I didn't live so far, I would gladly bring my pets here for regular check ups! Worst experience at a vet. Took my cat in on Tuesday for blood work, promised a reply within 24 to 48 hrs , after two phone calls from me to find out about the health of my 16 yr. old cat no call back from the vet who is very busy for a phone call after 72 hrs. Still waiting. If you value the health of your animal stay away from this place.

Veterinary costs are expensive no matter where you go. The extra care that I feel the vet and staff have given me and my pets is invaluable. They take the extra time to ensure I know what I am paying for and know the pros and cons with the options. I want only the best for my dog. Sometimes the best things are he's and sometimes they are easy. It is wonderful to have educated staff to help make the right choices

I was referred by some family friends. I was shocked by the absolutely amazing service this practice provides especially during these terrible times.They are very professional. Our boy Buster doesn't have something easy to diagnose can get expensive trying to find out if he has Epilepsy or something else. This business is NOT about the cashola they truly care for our Fur babies!! I can say for me and my family this will be our Vet for years to come. We can't thank your team enough for helping with what you can and making us feel very comfortable there and answer absolutely every question we had no matter how dumb it sounded. I will be recommending this Vet for years to come.

When I first met Dr watson,14 years ago he was the first to see my dog siesta.who at the time was a 6 month puppy with vigourous zeast for life.i knew at that time he was the real deal, as far as veterinarians are concerned. He takes a real interest in your pets well being.commuting from Toronto to penetang was a bit to much,so I opted for vet services in my area.siesta is now older with issues,my prior vet wanted to euthanize my dog and I disagreed.dr Watson ,with his years of experience ,suggested a plan for siesta. with his intuitive approach,old school common sense, my dog is much improved.while there are no guarantees for a dog his age,the extra time I have with him was well worth it.his staff is attentive and exemplary.answering questions diligently .if I could, I would turn the dial to 6 instead of 5 for the rateing.keep up the great work Dr Watson and staff.this facility is a hidden gem.thank you.steve.......ps.... if I get another pet in the future I will make the trip from Toronto.it will be well worth it

Wonderful experience. My cat, Sugar, had an eye injury. When I took her to my vet they wanted to send her to a specialist. I know vet tech Jayme personally and she spoke to Dr.Rypalowski about Sugar. She was confident that she could fix her eye for me without taking her to a specialist. Sugar had her surgery and she is doing amazing. Would definitely recommend Penetang vet hospital.

Have met Dr Allorina Rypalowski. She appeared warm knowledgeable & caring.. Vets cost are general across the board .. just don't want to be talked in to more costs ..than what is absolutely needed ...I have and do investigate ..what IS necessary and what is not ... I'm fully behind any vet that gives me the option ...not guilt tripping me for financial gain .. .. Not my vet ..took a friends dog there ..not her vet either ..but was treated warmly and effectively regarding the dogs immediate need was .. Very satisfied..

This is by far the best vet I have been to with any of my animals. They’re also so friendly and welcoming to you and your pet. They treat your pet like family and respect their feelings and boundaries. Also, for another great addition they’re extremely reasonably priced. Would recommend to anyone.

Avoid this vet clinic like the plague. They overcharged and did x-rays on our cat. 2 weeks later he died. I've talked to three other vets and they all said they shouldn't have performed the xray or all the tests. They should have performed a circulation test, then they may have discovered it was a clot. Terrible place to bring your pet. If I could give them a 0 star rating I would. We showed up for an appointment with our dog and they told us we didn't have an appointment. Very unprofessional. Should they have to pay a cancelation fee?

I honestly wish I could give more stars! Staff are friendly, caring, knowledgeable and truly dedicated. Visits feel more like coming home than stepping into a vets office. Dr. Rypalowski is absolutely amazing. You can tell that she genuinely cares for each animal that comes into her office, and always takes the time to explain any questions you might have without making you feel rushed. If you want to ensure that your pet gets the best care possible, I would suggest bringing them to Penetang Vet!

Lost 4 three week old kittens due to no ways to barrie and this vet being closed when there was an emergency, if they loved their job so much why not have someone there for emergency, absaloutely distraught.and having to make an "appointment" after waiting 3 days for an emergency kittens died.

This is the best vet in penatang and Midland. I have went to several places. Dr Watson was amazing with my she-poo, when he blew both ligaments. My dog mayhem is doing great. No limping at all and back to chasing squirrels. I have had the opportunity to meet Dr Rypolowske, when I had to bring my little whoodle in for her blood test. I was little worried when I heard about Dr Watson retirement. It's hard to find a honest vet that doesn't take advantage of your wallet. After working and takling with Dr Rypolowske and ruling some issue with my whoodle. I'm very, very happy with her. She is very caring and explain things to my understanding. I'm very confident she is going to make a great vet for my fur babies.
