REVIEWS OF Langley Animal Clinic Ltd IN Langley

Great doctors and staff. Accommodating and knowledgeable. They have large animal vets and do farm calls which is rare. Edit 2021 May These guys have let me down so many times this year. I don't know what it is. I have emergencies with my large animals and they don't get back to me for hours until the animal dies. Today with my dog needing stitches I was left on hold for 10 minutes only to be told to go see the emergency clinic for double or triple what it would have cost me to have them see my dog. Not thrilled with them lately

Langley Animal Clinic is amazing!! My first visit to them was to remove a broken tooth from my 12 week old puppy. I was quoted $900 from another clinic and Langley Animal Clinic quoted me between $200 and $225 and my actual bill cam in right at $211 and that included his 12 week vaccinations. I have gone to them for a tummy issue where puppy was throwing up food constantly and they fixed him up with an anti-nausea med instead of doing bloodwork and x-rays and all that expensive stuff. They tried the less invasive way first (which worked) and saved me a lot of money. I have gone back to them for his last round of vaccines and I will continue to use them for his future care. They are efficient, cost effective and all the staff have been very friendly and compassionate to my little dude. They are open late as to accomodate many schedules which is great. The only downside is the wait time on the phone can be lengthy sometimes depending when you call but it's only because they are a busy vet clinic (obviously because they are so great). Highly recommend!!

The vets are great, I will continue to take my animals here. However I was very upset that after I had my cat put down, I had requested a private cremation. They accidently didint give her the private creation and I never got her ashes, I got a call from the owner explaining that everything was filled out right, it was just a mistake and they where sorry, but that doesn't get me my cats ashes back. I however did get her paw prints atleast.

I have no complaints about the service here. Just don't expect them to submit your pet insurance claims properly. I submitted a form and was told that they would fill in what they were supposed to plus add the receipts and submit to the insurance company. They sent the form without filling out there part and did not submit the receipts. I later found that out after phoning the insurance company. They suggested I resend the form through the vet again, but then the vet lost the second form. No one bothered to tell me so I waited and waited for my refund but have yet to see it. They obviously don't deal with to many insurance claims or just suffer from poor training or lack of. For this reason I'm taking my pet elsewhere.

They have been so kind to our family for years taking care of over 10 plus animals for us. Our cat was hit by a car last year and had most of her back leg shattered and a broken hip. Being that she was only 1yr old we opted to do the surgery to repair the leg in the hopes that we could save it. After about a month of rest she was getting some mobility back in her leg which caused the metal screws in her leg to detach. After bringing her in for another surgery and expecting to pay another big bill we were surprised by the surgeon doing it all for free. The kindness they've showed us over the years is unimaginable and I wouldn't go anywhere else!

One of the worst cases of customer service I’ve experienced. The quality of care is not there anymore! Took 2 days to book an appointment, line is always busy, then was put on hold for 30 minutes. I should’ve known then but now comes the day of appointment - I hit a bit of traffic on the way there, I call and let them know I would be 5 minutes late. Most places have a grace period for situations like this? I understand they are booked up but we are coming with a sick animal, things happen and you’re going to turn us away? Several staff behind desk and no one was even a bit kind or served/spoke to me, when they finally acknowledged me they just said we consider this a no show and asked us to leave even though I was standing right there with our cat.. I am glad these rude people did not see our pets, shows how they treat people let alone animals behind closed doors.. All the negative reviews on here are quite similar, you would think they would re-evaluate their staff and clinic!

Very friendly clean wonderful service

We had a pleasant experience when we brought our cat to get neutered. We had an appointment at 9:10 am, we were checked in within 10 minutes and found all the staff we spoke to were friendly and informative. No one tried to "upsell" us anything. It cost us half the price of anywhere else we looked in Langley or Surrey. We were called early afternoon for a discharge appointment at 3pm and again, all our questions were answered promptly and we were out within 10 minutes. We will definitely return to have our other cat neutered within the next couple of weeks.

Leigh Geli

DO YOU GUYS EVER ANSWER YOUR PHONE!!!??? What type of business is this, they won't answer their phone at all and even their email was not working. Someone has to wake up and do something!

Rechelle Cervantes

Dr. Mcdonald saved our dog's life from a severe allergic reaction. She was kind and compassionate. We also like Dr. Meek . When she said what our dog needed and didn't need, I trusted her. She was open and honest. The reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the receptionist's are constantly changing. I would recommend Langley Animal Clinic to our friends and family though!

Ronan Kolvers

Not sure if there is more than one vet here but the one I saw with my cat was awful. He didnt check her at all, and disregarded the symptoms I told him she had. Without doing anything to check or look her over he sent me home with 80 dollar allergy food and no answers. The food did nothing to help and I will never be going back.

Roxanne Ryan

Extremely frustrating trying to find the info on our family pet to get meds. I had to explain to two separate people the name of the animal the owner's name it took them 10 minutes each when Finally they found it. Needs to be a better system as the consumer it's frustrating, time consuming, exhausting to repeat yourself, have to wait that long before they retrieve the info before they can even help you.

Josef Schefer

Great place with nice employees, efficient, appointments are kept at time booked(no waiting). Fees are the best around lower mainland. Been there 3 times, it's been consistent with their service.

Chris W

Had my dog neutered there... they had a cancelation, so I got in right away, they were great and inexpensive.

Darrell Miller

Staff is so friendly and helpful. Really care for all the animals.

Karin

Worst vet experience. Dr Hannah was extremely condescending and rude. It doesn't seem like she cares about pets at all. So disappointed. Went in for a bladder infection (my dog has had them on and off for years) had to argue with her to get antibiotics. She seemed more interested in selling me teeth cleaning and things that had nothing to do with the visit. Was charged way too much for nothing in my opinion. Will never go back. So so so disappointed.

Dustin Simcoe

It's where my cat's preferred vet moved to, she can't be guaranteed that she'll be the one who sees him but it's a noble cause

Kara Berman

Kind and easy to deal with when we had to put our beloved dog down. It’s such a hard time and you don’t want to be messing around.

Cassandra Lollie

A well-run clinic with very friendly & qualified staff. Pricing is competitive & many times lower than average for the above average care your animal receives. Highly recommended.

Jane Reco

Very efficient place, friendly and reasonable cost for my little dog ???? when he needed drains and stitches removed.

Brandie Doyle

Been going for 8 years and always have a good experience

Ilke vz Bakker

Very impressed with the level of care here. Prices very reasonable and the fact that their hours are 8am-9pm means you can get quality care past 5pm, without paying emergency vet prices! Vet was very kind, compassionate, and helpful. We will be coming here for our pets needs for now on.

Ryan Townsend

Vet known his stuff and is compassionate and cost is reasonable but he's not always there.

chantal mishler

Great staff, and a great price! The vet was so good with my giant breed puppy, she even got down on the floor with him to make him more comfortable. I was so so impressed with the service there! Will definitely continue to go back

Julia Strand

This is absolutely one of the best exotic vets I have been to. I have a bunny, and they have at least 2 doctors who specialize in bunnies (it's hard to find GOOD bunny vets, let me tell you). I go there for his nail trims, and for when he goes into stasis. The vets & assistants have always treated me and my bunny with the utmost of professionalism and care. They even looked after him during the day while I went to work (when he was in stasis) so that if he was to get worse they'd be there for him. They gave me medication and showed me exactly how to use it.. and what signs i should see (for improvement or detriment). They're open later than most which is great..and if they can't accommodate you (by the specialist being there) they will give you suggestions (and even call for you) on vets that are open later with specialists on. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet for all animals, especially bunnies!

Wendy Swindells

They were very caring and patient with us and our dog who was blind, deaf and lost his sense of smell and we knew it was time for him not to suffer any longer and as much as he was loved he needed to be in no more pain. The staff was there for our family and I will be forever grateful to them. I am glad we chose them for our Chewy

Doris Potthast

After so many horrible experience with veterinarians in the lower mainland I finally found this clinic. Great veterinarians work here. My two dogs are in good hands.

Lindsay Gray

Dr Lauren Stone Mockler will love your pets like they are her own. She doesnt charge extortionate amounts to treat you fur kids. Just what they need. You can trust her to give them top level care at fair and reasonable prices. I'm never taking my babies anywhere else ????

Wayne Worobec

My wife has taken our pets here and had excellent service. They have long hours and act as the local animal hospital. Last week I went there for a special food for my Bengal cat that has urinary issues and they had a terrific assortment of vet foods. Really appreciated they had so much, it was like a grocery store for pet food, but all vet recommended foods.

Cristina Sherwood gray

Vet was absolutely amazing, and the service was great as well. Very informed and upfront, but kind to the animals. Would highly recommend.

Leonardo Behrens

Good service excellent pricing. Available parking. Free hot drinks. Superb

Neil McMullin

Never going anywhere else. They are always patient and provide lots of information. Pricing is very reasonable and worth the drive from PoCo.

Pugstar Productions

Pretty disappointing !! They have a policy where you need to pay UPFRONT before they will work on your animal. In all my years going to vets, I have never heard of this ! Tried to pay with a card over the phone, as my wife had just driven 40 minutes to get there, but they don't accept credit cards over the phone ?? Payment through Visa/Mastercard/Amex is guaranteed if the 3 digits are provided. Big waste of time. More added stress to my cat. NEVER GOING BACK !! Great vets, but lousy out of date polices ! In a world where you can spend thousands online, they don't trust their customers !! They just lost 3 pets (customers), and likely a big invoice on the cat they wouldn't take on (my cat requires dental work, which I am getting done elsewhere ! I wasn't going to decline the work (never have) it as she needs it, and I love my cat (I'm not a cheapskate).

Karin Algren

Dr Laura McDonald is great. Very caring. She's been very thorough in dealing with my cat and his chronic sinusitis and breathing difficulties.

hajaraman123

Really good and helpful staff!! All the Doctors are very nice and even the reception staff are always working for your animals

Lukasz M

They explain clearly what can be done and what cannot be done, how to do it etc. Well priced too...

L.J. Robertson'

Extremely busy. Time with the vet is brief and to the point, whatever the ailment is and you are out again.

Cindi H

Have had nothing but awesome care for my Chihuahua's! Very understanding and honest. They absolutely love what they do. I 100% would recommend to anyone if needing vet care.

Andrew Joyce

Great people with great service. Only issue I had was they are busy when you try to call usually. Leave a message and they always call you back though.

Oxana R

Great hospital and staff, its a bit far from us but happy to drive there because i trust them with my pets.

Kirby D

Very nice people professional and reasonable

Dorito SuperTacoCat

I had previously left a very long detailed review and because it was so long it would not allow me to write anything else and therefore I could not write an update. So here is a VERY short version of my experience. I took my 6 month old kitten in to get spayed. Long story short, the clinic sent my animal home with someone else. To say that I was shocked, appalled, emotional, frantic, angry are all understatements. I sat in the waiting room for 30 mins when i went to pick her up, only to be told that she wasnt there and they accidently sent her home with someone else. No need to explain how i felt, because any aninal lover would know how i was feeling in that moment. At the time I wrote my original review, the incident had just happened, and I was still VERY angry about the whole situation. That being said, I did get my kitten back safe and sound that night, but the entire situation was very traumatic and the staff handled it extremely poorly. I could go into a big rant about how unprofessional it was, but please just take my word on that. The clinic still expected me to pay the entire bill, even after they had taken my $50 deposit and didnt take any responsibility for their hugely negligent actions. Only after I caused a big emotional scene in the clinic did they allow me to leave with my cat without paying the remainder of the bill. I left with my kitten, hugely scarred, thinking I would never go back there again. However, the next day, the assistant manager called me back. She was not at the clinic at the time this all happened. She had been informed of the incident and called to check firstly on how my cat was recovering, and how I was recovering after such a horrific situation. I was still very stressed, still trying to figure out how it could have all happened and how they didnt do anything about it and basically just said "oops, our bad". I had quite a long conversation with her which included many sincere apologies and somewhat of an explanation. It made me feel better knowing that it felt like someone actually cared about what happened. I understand everyone is human and we make mistakes, but at the time it was all going on, that wasnt exactly what was going thru my head. Bottomed line is this. I wont go back only because I feel very scarred from the entire situation. I did appreciate the manager calling me back to see how my cat was doing and to apologize for their mistake. In the end I didnt want anyone at the clinic to beat themselves up for it because I did get my kitten back safe and sound. I dont even know what I would have done if that had not been the case. My biggest beef was with the way the staff in the clinic handled the situation and acting like it was not that big of a deal.

Chelsea Saltel

Always take fantastic care of my pets.

Rebecca Marieclair

They have always been so kind to our cat. Recommending better diet solutions and walking us through the treatments for him. Very grateful to all the staff.

Corey S

We recently had our dog spayed here and chipped. They were very professional, fast and inexpensive by comparison.

diana marcela Rueda

Love this place

Audra Dore

This isn’t my vet but I’ve gone here before to buy special vet food for my cats. Their hours are great and they have a little store inside that sells vet food and farm vet supplies.

JaiNe-q Austen

I have had this vet for my animals for six years and have been satisfied most of the time. Sometimes, you do need to order in food or supplies in advance, like the tinned w/d food I buy for my cat and the Oxbow Vitamin C tablets I buy for my guinea pigs. Front staff is great, I've only had one interaction where it looked like the problem was an inexperienced, young employee who did not know correct procedure. I should have asked for someone else, but I was upset at the time and didn't think of it.

tomas a gutierrez

Lovely to take care my rabbit s ???? ????

I am hosting a family who has been evacuated due to the flooding in Abbotsford. You know the recently declared BC State of Emergency. The veterinary hospital they typically use has been ordered to be shut down and remain evacuated by the City of Abbotsford. Unfortunately during the quick evacuation, the family forgot to grab Isaderm Gel for their cat. With the clinic being closed we are unable to get them to "just fax it over" (the prescription) to this clinic and will only prescribe it with an appointment. She is incredibly stressed out due to the recent events and dragging her out from under the bed to another vet appointment is not practical. Her sore on her back is so red and raw that I decided to come here in hopes of purchasing this gel for her. I have her recent invoice with the date and vet who prescribed this to her yet this clinic would not make any exception to sell this to me. While I understand there are rules and regulations that need to be followed however, it should not be this difficult during a STATE OF EMERGENCY to help an animal. Reception could have atleast inquired with someone above her to see if there is any possibility. Front desk was not very understanding or helpful at all.

Kenny Davie

I am a dairy farmer and I've had very good luck with their vets. Their hours are also very nice being able to go after work is awesome.

Cheram _

I've been bringing my pets here for almost 30 years but the front office staff have become terrible. They never answer the phone anymore. You have to wait a minimum of 30 minutes (usually much longer) on hold just to make an appointment. Their automated system prompts you to leave a message but they don't bother to call you back. They are so unprofessional.

stephanie dick

Staff are great, most doctors are wonderful. Only have had one bad experience, buy since them its been wonderful. I love the long hours means I can take my pet in after work. Such a great place.

Hantrend R.W

I am here to final a complaint to this company. I brought my lamb for emergency last Wednesday night and after getting our baby lamb emergency treatment , we left and forgot one medical shot for our baby lamb for coming Friday morning treatment. The next day I went to this company and spent over almost 1 hour there, the staff could not find out where the medical shot was and then I got told the staff destroyed it and threw to garbage can. We found that was very unprofessional since most clinics/hospitals would just call the client to let them know they forgot to bring home and keep for clients to pick up. Then on friday, I tried to call them again and again no one picked up calls. I left message and eventually someone called me that the shot was ready for pickup. I was expecting to pickup right away and leave to bring for my baby lamb. Again, when I arrived, no one knew where the medical shot was and they had to call vet again to find out. I was there waiting for over 30 mins. This is ridiculous!! and it delayed the time I brought medicine to my baby lamb and when I arrived , he passed away. So far, I havent got any calls for apology. This is very unprofessional. The staff never pickup calls and service is poor. I will not recommend any to bring animals to this place. VERY POOR TRAINED STAFF AND NOT ORGANIZED.

Brian Gunn

Great vet. Easy to book. Good bedside manner. Efficietn.

Christopher McDonald

I've taken my precious kitty here many times over the years. Everything from major emergency surgery to minor issues. They've literally saved her life. The staff are easy to talk to and the doctors are very knowledgeable and professional. They all really care for your pet and it shows.

echobase Alpha

Always excellent service here. The vet has many years of experience and is reasonably priced. His staff are always helpful and easy to talk to. Highly recommended if you live in Pitt Meadows.

Karl Beer

Awesome visit with our little dog ????. Always a good experience

Haleh Magnus

Love Dr Omid ! He is so caring and know a lot

dachuan Chen

Friendly and knowledgeable. I only have had my dog for a year and been given a lot of help from them. Their hours are very convenient. If you are only updating dog shots, you only need to book a vet technician to do it. It's much cheaper.

Kirsten Miller

Great clinic. I can always make an appointment when needed and they are friendly and very helpful.

plush bear

I take my three cats here routinely and have always been met with quality service. The ladies at the front desk always greet me with a smile, and every vet I've seen has treated my cats with the utmost care. They always give me the most cost-effective treatment here. Definitely would recommend to any other cat owners in the Langley area.

Sea Jaye

Great staff. Not overly priced. Great hours. Bring all my sicky 4 legged friends here.

halo 66

Not a great experience took our dog there cost $800 she did not listen to what we had to say about what we've noticed. The radical decline of our dogs health with in a 4 day period. They took blood sent us home. Our dog is in pain there was no pain management for him no antibiotics nothing our dog lays in his chair has a hard time walking and we wait till payday so we can take him to another veterinarian hopefully one that will listen and help our dog I do not recommend this place at all. My heart breaks for the dog

Pat Sorrentino

Really impressed with Dr Laura Mcdonalds knowledge and care of my french bulldogs. I was very happy with my senior girls spay done by Laura Mcdonald. 6 months later she had pretty major dental surgery done by doctor Hannah and I was also very happy with her condition and recovery.Dr Wood has also been good.

Melissa Boily

Very good animal clinic !! One of the best in BC

Madison Morales

I drove all the way from maple ridge just to get turned down coz they messed up my appointment.and they did not even make up for it..so disappointed, waste of gas waste of time.I dont recommend this place at all!!!

Jason Westwood

Horror experience was quoted way less almost half the price my cat only had 5 babies when doctor said he seen 4 just in the front and usually he only sees 2 so he's definitely not experienced or he didn't do a proper scan. He never let us see the results

Shannyn Marie

After calling several places trying to get a couple chickens we had just rescued in for treatment, Langley Animal Clinic was able to get us in in just a couple hours!! When EVERYONE else we called "was overbooked wont be able to do it today for sure, maybe not even tomorrow" being that we are a rescue, of course we want them to be evaluated and treated ASAP!! Not only were we seen, & treated, but they were VERY reasonable with the price!! 2 office visits, treatment of early bumblefoot, antibiotics for that, the wrapping material, topical antibiotics, medicines for the sick one, as well as preventative treatment for the other 3 to prevent them getting the infection as well. And they were EXTREMELY reasonable with the price! I will gladly take ALL of our future rescues that need support to them!! Thanks a Million Dr. & Staff!!

Schvaun Fryer

Very friendly and helpful. Great prices. Honest as well.

Good customer service. Great with my dog.

Daniel St. Andrews

We have been loyal customers of this clinic since 1997 and have had three dogs and several cats - all of which received their care from the Langley Animal Clinic. We spent tens of thousands of dollars there during that time. Last Friday my fourteen year old dog, had a bad case of diarrhea and wasn't eating food. I took her to the vet and was given two medications for her to take with food. I was told to bring her back to see the vet in two days if her condition didn't improve. On Monday, she was in worse condition and I called at 8:00 AM to get an appointment. The receptionist said they were booked solid and I would have to bring her on Tuesday. I explained that Holly had not eaten in four days and still had diarrhea! I also explained that we had been customers for over 20 years and had spent thousands of vet bills there. The receptionist put me on hold and spoke to the doctor but she advised that there was nothing they could do for her that day. I explained I just wanted to drop her off to be hospitalized but she said there was nothing they could do. She suggested that I take Holly to the Animal Hospital down the street! I now go to the Peace Arch Clinic in White Rock, where she is receiving excellent care!!!

Dan Zahn

Prices are reasonable. good service, knowledgeable vets and staff very accommodating schedules willing to answer questions without having to make an appointment Wide range of specialist on staff

Shan B

They were very good when I had to take my cat in. Unfortunately he had to be euthanized but the staff were very compassionate and caring.

Mo G

❗ Please do not take your animals here. My cat had vaccinations here on friday and now my cat is very ill. My cat will not move more then a few steps, has lost his meow- and will not eat or drink much. My cat has been sleeping all day everyday for the last 4 days ! The doctor was very quick to rush me out of the office once the cat was vaccinated- no physical on the cat was done at all just a jab and go although i booked and paid for an exam ( the appointment was 3 minutes long) and did not give me any indication at all about side effects or any information on the vaccines what so ever! I brought my HEALTHY animal in as we are now living in a different province away from his regular vet and his regular vet suggested we keep up to date on his yearly vaccinations. This clinic will NOT call you back or let you speak to a manager!! If you care about your animals stay far away! My cat has lost so much weight in the last 4 days !

Easykillah

My old dog had a huge bleeding tumor on his face. Not only did they remove it (at his age the anesthesia could have killed him) but he is almost fully recovered already! After a consultation they gave me a full estimate for the procedure and the total ended up less than estimated. Thank you guys so much for helping my best friend have a better life with what little time he has left. He is doing so much better now!

Rory Cutler

Great vets and awesome big animal vets. They take care of our farm critters and we live them

Lin P.C. Michael

Such poor communication. I called and confirmed with the front desk that they can do a procedure to remove my dog's lump on the same day we visit the clinic. I had double-checked with the front desk and the lady said yes, they can do on the same day. But, the day I brought my dog in, the doctor said they cannot do the same day because he needs to be fasting and they needed to prepare the stuff. He said the technician would email me a quote in 3-5 business days and reschedule the procedure. Today, they send an email me regarding the price and I called them to book the appointment. The lady told me the earliest day she could book will be at the end of July. "The end of July" "The end of July" "The end of July" "The end of July"! Are you kidding me? What was this communication? I chose your clinic because the clinic I used to go to cannot to it early. But, now you told me I need to wait until the end of July? So your staff basically trick me spent the office visit fee for nothing? Good job. Well done then.

Holly Comeau

My friend had to bring her goat. We were well taken care of. I was very happy that this facility had a neutral smell (some vet offices smell of wet dog).

Crystal Tiana Major (Crazy)

Wonderful considering prices as well as polite staffing and the doctor's are great.

noxtramas dacovany

Excellent from start to finish

Kelly Marshall

I love the fact that I can get my cats spayed and neutered and its cost effective. I love the staff, there so professional and polite and accommodating. I like the set up on social distancing and the clinic is sterile and clean and you don't even smell anything. I love this place. I am so happy I found them.

Honest Reviews

Both times i've been there, the vet has been AWFUL. First time was for a shot (for a puppy). Did not tell me weight of my pup (thought he was 3lbs instead of 3kg), had 40 minute wait even though i had an appointment, and he barely looked at him, took 2 minutes to give him a shot and sent us off. SECOND TIME was wayyyyy worse. It was long weekend and no where else was open. The vet was condescending and just plain rude. When i told him my pup was having trouble breathing (huffing and puffing) due to blockage in his nose. There also seems to be cloudy green mucus coming out of his nose. He questioned me and asked if i was sure and if he was actually having issues because he "looks fine". I would NOT go there if he was fine...When i asked if there is a reason he didn't want to give him antibiotics (because my pup had an nose infection), he said "well there is a resistance against anitbiotics over time..i am surprised you don't know that. studies are all over". when i asked if his infection was contagious, he said "well if you had a sick kid, would you bring them to school? isn't that common sense? there is no way to know if it is contagious" HE IS JUST PLAIN AWFUL. When it came to paying, the vet didn't instruct the receptionist at all. I had to wait 20 minutes for them to figure out how to give me the forms for microchipping and another 20 minutes because the vet went into another appointment and didn't tell the receptionist what to bill me for. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL! DO NOT GO (unless you want to be belittled and wait for 40 minutes even if you had an appointment).

Chris Tones

This clinic has served our many pets, big and small for many years and they are awesome! We wouldn't go to any other vet. They are caring, supportive and friendly. Thank you Langley Animal Clinic for everything you do!

Elyse Smith

I came from the North Shore to have my cat fixed because the price was 1/3 of what it was on the North Shore. The staff was incredibly friendly and the surgery went perfectly for my kitty she had such a small incision so much better than the surgery my previous cat had on the North Shore. Very professional Vets I would highly recommend this pet hospital

Jamie Reisig

Take excellent care of our cats and dog

chris quinn

Had been going here for years, called in when my golden was really sick and couldn't figure out what was wrong, only to be told they were too busy to fit her in. Service up until this point had been good, but I won't risk them not having time for us in an emergency.

Alex Soldatov

Best animal farm clinic. Doctor Gibbons always have the best interest for our piggies. If you have a farm animal please go see them.

Dennis Jay Rosales

From inquiring about getting our cat neutered and to bring our cat home from his operation, the Langley Animal Clinic Team was helpful, professional, and courteous throughout our cat’s visit. They clearly explained our options & packages they had available. Which are also listed in their website. They do ask for a deposit to prevent no shows, but that was understandable. All in all, I highly recommend LACL for your veterinarian needs. ????

Suzanne White Anders

I go there for pet food. Staff at front desk aren’t so welcoming. Don’t greet you. You have to ask for service

ChelSea

Love this clinic, it is one of the only ones I trust with the care of my fur babies. They are kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. They appreciate that most people have a budget and try to work best within it. They work well with both cats ???? and dogs ????. Their office is lovely and comfortable for both people and pets. They have a TV with the food channel on and a free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate machine. I drive an hour just to take my pets here, couldn't recommend them more.

Dr Thot (Tiki_The_Hyacinth_Macaw)

Great place and very affordable. My dog is epileptic and we weren’t sure if we’d be able to afford to medicate her for the rest of her life but the price of her pills was only 40$ per month! If we hadn’t been able to find an affordable price my dog would still be experiencing cluster seizures regularly, I can’t thank them enough.

The304krew

Been a help a few times now and helped me heal my sick puppy of Parvo in the cheapest way possible

Terry

Always have the food I need for my cats.

Used to be really good. They seem to only help if you're rich now though. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Tracy Lenfesty

Also great staff at front.

Luke Osachuk

We've been going there for 20+years and they've always been AWESOME!!

Urjita V (UV)

Definitely recommend for neutering!

Stevo Canuck

First time at this clinic. Came here to get my rabbit neutered and everything went incredibly smooth and quick. Staff and docs were great and very informative

sarah treliving

I just recently started going there. The vet my dog is seeing is great. But the receptionists need to take a coarse in customer service. Ive never once gone in and had them say “hi how r u, we’ll be with u in a moment. Im lucky if they even look up from their computer. My dog is most likely going to be put down today and i wanted to get in with one particular vet that came in at 12. She was booked till 2:40. Im crying as i talk to them to let me see her for 5 minutes at 12. Nope wouldn’t do it. Have some compassion for gods sakes. Dont think I’ll be bringing my other dogs to them.

Melanie F

Best Vet experience I've had in years! Helpful reassuring staff, no pressures, no upselling, no BS! Prices are more than reasonable. My two fur babies were treated with care. I don't think I will be going anywhere else.

Jackie Smith

Excellent veterinary clinic. I too came from the North Vancouver area and I'm so glad that I did. Pricing is so much more fair and then over here on the North Shore and the vets were so much more interactive and professional the receptionists were extremely knowledgeable and very very helpful and the communication was wonderful.

Lana Lipsett

I get to the door ….the one day of the year your closed is New Year’s Day!!!! Sort out the website and turn off your open sign…

Dean j Miles

Very good people and good to my animal .

Mickey Mang

Affordable animal clinic/hospital similar to a human hospital with a big staff of doctors and nurses unlike some vets with one assistant who may sub contract the anesthesiologist etc... and most importantly, They took good care of my little buddy.

Carey Meek

I've had so many issues with the administrative staff at this clinic. - call their phone and hold for at least 30 min. Meanwhile when I've been in the clinic and their phones are ringing, they prioritize 2 staff members trying to print some document that could have waited. I counted at least 7 lines holding while this happened. - call their emergency line at 9am, don't even let me explain the issue to them and say they're booking in the afternoon. No apologies or effort to try and make something work. - rude in general to their customers. I've asked questions regarding continuing home treatment for my pet which wasn't explained, and was met with a sharp tone - in general they don't encourage questions. - the only doctor worthwhile seeing is Dr Wood - I have had awful experiences with the other docs here. Today when I called the emergency line and was met with the response I detailed earlier, was the final straw for me. Will no longer be returning to this clinic.

Brenda Perry

I had to unfortunately put my fur baby down. I was beyond crushed and distraught. The vet and staff were so supportive and caring. We weren't rushed and they let us decide when we wanted to let her go. A very hard experience, but it was made better just by the empathy the staff and vet had.

marianne jensen

They were amazing with us the really took there time explaining test result , and really got the feeling they cared about our dog and his well doing . Price was good. Highly recommend them .

Ama I.

Really impressed with the attention to detail. Never pushed to spend money like I was at previous vets.

Jill Niver

Dr. Hannah Weitzenfeld went absolutely above and beyond to help my epileptic cat. She listened to our needs and helped us out without making us come in for repeated visits. I would recommend this clinic (and especially Hannah) to anyone!

Bill B

Great vets here, super friendly and explained everything I needed to know post surgery in great detail. I drove out from Vancouver to get my cat spayed because the price is unbeatable.

Dean Ritchey

I have been here a few times now over the past 5 years. It is an extremely busy clinic. They treat more than domestic animals which may help explain why they are. Not only have my experiences been good here, they have gone above and beyond when I was left in a dismal position from an atrocious experience at another vet. They rescued my pup. We went to them to get our pup spayed and was told to keep her cone collar on to prevent her from chewing her stitches. We decided to take it off after a few days to give her a 5 minute break because she hated the darn thing. BIG MISTAKE. She tore out every stitch which left a gaping hole in her gut. I put back her cone collar and rushed her to the emergency in Langley. They were brutal and refused to stitch her up and said that they needed to put her under again to do surgery. I told them no way and insisted the they stitch her. There is no way I was going to have my pup put under anesthesia so close to just coming out from her previous surgery ... way to dangerous. They refused to help so I took her home and waited up all night with her to keep her still and then took her here without an appointment first thing in the morning They not only fixed her up but they took her immediately and never even charged me. They stitched her right up in front of me and put a little drainage plug in and gave me antibiotics. She made a full recovery and I have this clinic to thank for it. Amazing staff who really cared for my pet and me in my time of crisis. The other place seemed only concerned about making money NOT MY DOGS WELL BEING ... these guys were the exact oposite!

Clickerchicks 1

Needed an emergency vet appointment. Staff was very friendly and vet was exceptional. Ruled out everything and treated my dog with medication after a thorough examination. Highly recommended. Very affordable!

Dr. Wood performed Extracapsular Suture knee surgery on our 7 y/o corgi/collie in December. I was extremely nervous when my dog tore her knee. After paying almost $1500 for another pet hospital to diagnose and provide pain meds, I started doing research on the various procedures and calling around to see who was willing to do what. The vets I spoke with were all recommending TPLO or TTA surgery which sounded extremely invasive. Desperate to do what was best for our dog and at any cost, I mentioned to a friend of mine what was going on. He put me in touch with Dr. Gibbons who put me in touch with Dr. Wood. Dr. Wood was very matter of fact, discussed my options not only through the Langley Animal Clinical but others that do similar procedures, and made a recommendation based on my dogs needs. It was decided that we would do the cheapest of the options as it was also the least invasive and Dr. Wood was confident that it would be sufficient. After calling around and speaking with others in the industry, Dr. Wood came highly recommended and we made the decision to do the surgery at the Langley Animal Clinic. It all happened very quickly and they were able to get our dog in for surgery just before Dr. Wood went on holidays. Their fees were reasonable, all inclusive and they provided everything we needed for her recovery. I'm extremely grateful to say that Kalli was back on her paws in about a weeks time and not even a month later, her limp was quickly improving. We're almost 3 months in and Kalli is running around like she always had and it's safe to say, has made a full recovery. I can't thank Dr. Woods, Dr. Gibbons and the staff at the Langley Animal Clinic enough! ... Highly recommend.

Julia Topaz

Worst place ever. Untrustworthy and shady

C4LichKing

I went here today to get an ultrasound done on my dog, the receptionist that I dealt with was a real pain, she claimed to be a nice person when she wouldn't listen to what she was being asked and instead of trying to help she tried to push away and get me out. The question was how much it was going to cost and why the costs were different than what we were told, she then claimed that we were screaming and yelling at her when we were having a conversation at a normal volume. I don't think she should be allowed to work there anymore because she has no sense of customer service and clearly couldn't care less about what is thought of the company. I would highly recommend going elsewhere or at least avoiding her at all costs if you do decide to go there, she has medium length black hair and brown eyes

Dan Clunn

They have always been amazing with our pets. They put our beloved kitty of 18 years down. They were so kind and took great care of her, and us. We now have another kitty and he wasnt feeling so good. They fixed him up real quick. We come all the way from Maple Ridge to see them. <3

Tamara Deschene

Busy clinic with affordable visit fres for the type of area in which we are living in Langley city. Nice receptionists and a good location.

Steven Hall

We're very professional and helpful for our puppy. Empathetic and knowledgeable

70

Pretty accounting service no mistakes or bad treatment worth mentioning besides a long wait period for a response. Probably from good customer service with other clients. They seem pretty accommodating and willing to listen even though I'm kind of overbearing dog owner. Lol

Barry Cameron

We drive to this clinic from Chilliwack. It is well worth the trip. Excellent veterinarians and staff. We trust them 100%. As an added bonus they are also very reasonably priced.

Chris Hunt

Fantastic clinic. Friendly staff. Good prices. Our dog is always happy to see Dr Nick Wood. Highly recommend.

Aida Hamkar

This is a great animal clinic! I've been to them a few times with my different pets. Recently I needed to get my rabbit's tooth trimmed as he has a protruding tooth and even though I was nervous for him, the experience was great! Thank you!

Marlene Parrott

So very disappointed in this clinic, impersonal front staff who can't even get off their &)*_ for look at the scale (not really a safe practice as many people do not use the scale properly or report the weight accurately). Vets not considerate of frightened or nervous dogs. They do not allow owners to participate in ultrasounds, which of not surgical procedures and they do not consider the owners wishes. They charge typical amounts but really 1 star service and care for 4 star prices. I certainly will not go back there if there is anyone else available.

Taylor M

Love this clinic! We live in Surrey but drive out to Langley just for this fantastic vet clinic!! Service is prompt and each veterinarian we've dealt with genuinely cares about our cats. Their pricing is also very affordable for amazing service.

lix_

I visited this click for several times. We visited less than 10 minutes but was charged $85 as extended visit. The vet didn't check my cat thoroughly , not professional at all. The front dest didn't explain the ways and procedures to file a complaint patiently, but hung up on clients impolitely. Totally irresponsible and not professional.

Ron Hamilton

The front counter staff are the worst I have ever seen. I have been the only person at the counter 3 working not one even acknowledged me for over 3 minutes. I waited 15 minutes on hold then just hung up called back and said no I won’t hold and was told to leave a message. If I owned the clinic I would fire them all.Brutal I can’t say it enough. If I could rate the counter staff “Zero” I would.

Brenda Griswold

Very polite and professional. Explained all the options very well and costs associated. Will definitely be my vet now that I live in Langley.

Meghan Price

I’ve taken my dogs here for years and have suggested this place to many people over the years. Today was absurd. I called prior to my appointment letting the front desk now my kitten (3 months old) is just in her crate and she’s very scared as a heads up. As I took them in for their appointment. I asked for their ears cleaned, dewormed and shots etc to make sure they’re all heathy. They took my one cat in the “back” and I have absolutely no idea what they did and gave my other kitten her shots and gave me the deworming pill and said “I don’t feel like getting bit, do it at home.” The one girl “Vet Dr” had just left without saying anything. I went to the front desk and waited and I finally had to ask “Am I going to be getting any records that this happened and explained what has been done to my cats?” I’m not sure who is running this place but I recall it being professional years ago when I brought my dogs. Paid $200 for what!? My one cats ears are still bugging her. I’ll be going to the Aldor Vet to get them re-checked as I heard that place is amazing.

MAMA C

Dr. Nick Wood is amazing.. Thank you for taking care of my babies..

CINDY LINCOLN

The staff were great n the vet doctor was so nice n explain ed every thing to me

Ann Bemrose

This is an excellent clinic with friendly, caring staff who made sure I understood everything that was happening to my dog. I love in Vancouver but went to Langley to have my dog spayed because, to be honest, their fee was less than half of what I would have had to pay closer to home and I'm on a fixed income. I'd heard the Langley clinic was top-notch and so, feeling a bit sheepish for making such an important choice because of the cost, I made an appointment and drove in early in the morning. The building is beautiful and roomy enough that pets don't have to be crowded together in the waiting room, which is very important for some dogs and cats. Dr. Laura examined my dog thoroughly and was very kind and gentle when my dog was nervous. The clinic called me to give a progress report and set up the discharge appointment. I was very pleased with the complete set of printed instructions they provided about my dog's post-op needs, pain meds and comfort. I felt well-designed and confident that my dog had received the best care possible. If I lived closer to Langley I would use this clinic for all my dog's care, regardless of the cost. That's how good I feel about my experience.

I went to get my cat neutered, the vet told me my cat has heart murmur ask me if I want to have ECHO and blood work. I told him "no thanks". first of all, I want to save money, secondly I know for such small procedure, the risk is minimal even though he will be under general anaesthetic, thirdly, I do not trust this vet's words. I picked up my cat in the evening, he made the procedure. Second day, I called my doctor friend and nurse friend who works in ER came to listen. They listened over and over, there is no murmur of heart. For all of you out there, if you choose this clinic and want to save money, they have all kinds of games to make you pay double.

Leanna Fitzgerald

Dr.Omid is an Amazing doctor, so caring and compassionate.. My Baby went in for dental surgery on Thursday I had a concern about what was happening when we got home he took me in as they were closing and made sure my dog was comfortable and I was comfortable before taking him home again.... He gave me a re check next afternoon to make sure everything was still going okay! Great Veterinarian :)

Cara Miller

This clinic really cares about animal welfare and their community. ❤️ I experienced such compassion, care and kindness from all of their staff when my spouse, my fur kids and I lost our home in the Dec 11/2016 condo fire. Free exams were offered to my dogs and cat to check for lung issues due to smoke inhalation. Food and flea treatment were also given out to those in need. Fast forward to 2020 and again, their kindness shines. I now work with a rabbit rescue and was recently contacted by one of their staff offering ongoing donations to help support our rescue rabbits. ???? Kudos to this team of wonderful and giving professionals.

Rudy Parachoniak

My wife brought our dog in for a kennel cough vaccine and was charged for a full examination plus the vaccine. Thing is, an examine never took place. Just the shot. No examination, no questions, not even listening to a heartbeat. Considering that my wife is a vet assistant herself, she understands what should be charged and what actions should have taken place for that charge. I don't typically post reviews, however, when a business charges for something that did not take place, that is straight up unprofessional and criminal. Customers expect honesty and integrity when choosing to visit a clinic, not an attempt to squeeze money out of their clientele. We're always willing to pay for services rendered, but when someone chooses to charge a fee in the hope that a money grab isn't realized - I have serious issues. My opinion, is to choose another clinic that isn't attempting to take advantage of its customers and overcharge for services that were never performed.

Joel Penner

Professional, courteous, caring, and willing/able to answer my questions. CLEAN. Decent pricing, didn't feel rushed or squeezed, unlike other vets in the area that just want to squeeze every possible dollar out of you. Highly recommended, won't go anywhere else. Their google listing has the wrong phone number though, look up their website for the correct phone number.

Karen Chmara

Veterinary seemed knowledgeable and didn't suggest any crazy expensive procedures. Only went there once and staff was professional.

Deirdre Bell

great place

Michael Hartmann

Our local vet, we have gotten our rabies shots here and they helped us understand what we need to get in order for our cat tot ravel internationally.

Tatiana Gut

I don’t know who answers the emails but please, take deep breaths, Xanax and a yoga class before you speak with customers again.

gmanthegreat69

Best vet ever. Prices are reasonable and they care.

Brandon Sauer

Pretty disappointed with this place. We only came here because my girlfriend's mom takes her cats here. We started bringing our 2 kittens here since we got them last September and never have we felt satisfied after our experiences. One of those instances was when we noticed our one kitten was stretching his back leg out lots. We thought it was a cute quirk because he was not favoring it or acting strange at all, he was still full of energy. We took him in to the vet as soon as he started limping one day. My girlfriend came home in tears after she met with the vet who condescendingly said to her "he is obviously in a lot of pain, how could you think this is cute". After a number of expensive xrays and exams, they still had no idea what was wrong with his leg. We were talked into expensive surgery, so that they could 'see what was going on'. They flushed out some bad fluid and said he should be okay now. They had zero confidence this entire process, which is not what you want from a professional. When I went to pick him up after surgery I had to wait for 45 minutes. Then when I went to have a conversation about how it all went and the what the recovery process was. I was presented with papers with the recovery plan for a DOG after this surgery. She was crossing things out and reading things over and told me to youtube it if I had questions. Super unprofessional and upsetting to not have trust in the whole situation during that hard time. Most recently, my girlfriend took the boys in for their 1 year rabies vaccinations. I came home to find my cats vomiting uncontrollably and my girlfriend frantic and said they had been for 15 minutes straight. She was not told that this was a common side effect, she was told that they may be lethargic. If you care about your cats, I would consider taking them elsewhere.

J.W. Milton

Great service ordered me in what I needed for the Horses

Ashly

My 8 year old dog has gone no where else since I got her at 5 months Dr.Nick Wood has done both of her knee surgeries within the last 7 months and the experience has been as best as it can be in the situation. Highly recommend him, unlike so many you can see he actually cares about the animals.

Rae

I have been having extreme issues trying to get my dogs medical history from this clinic as they first sent the wrong information to me and even after having my pet insurance company call them and inform them of the documents needed, they STILL have yet to send them. This is delaying my insurance claim by almost a month now and their new phone system makes it almost impossible to speak to a receptionist unless you have an emergency or are booking an appointment and even when you are trying to book an appointment, you're left on hold for 20+ minutes and sometimes even forgotten (YES, this happened to me and when I hung up after waiting for an hour and called back, I was helped immediately. Weird.) And on top of that, they don't call back when you leave a message. It's extremely unprofessional especially when people are relying on them for their pets safety. I really do not recommend them at all.

Sylvie Martineau

I had to unexpectedly put my 21 year old cat down last week….I showed up at the clinic bright and early, heart broken and without an appointment, to see if they could take care of this for me. The people I met at the clinic were simply amazing. I was so distraught by loosing my dear cat that I did not catch anybody’s name at the clinic but to the 2 receptionists I dealt with, the nurse and the surgeon that assisted me with the outmost compassion last week: Thank you. They made sure I was taking care of during this difficult time and they took care of my cat with the most delicate and respectful way. I would definitely recommend the clinic for all animal lovers – the staff was truly outstanding.

Sandra Rankine

Quick and easy visit to get our dog spayed. Price was affordable. Service was efficient. She's healing up well, thanks

Jennifer Seward (In the Black Bookkeeping)

Dr Gibbins was very helpful. We took our goats there to get checked out and he took the time to answer all of our questions and didn't rush through the appointment. Would highly recommend

Brooke Wilson

Langley Animal Clinic expects perfect timing from their patients but they do not offer that respect in return. I was 5 minutes late to my appointment for an important visit but was turned away and told to rebook. I understand that their time is important. However, this was an absolute slap to the face considering my first two visits I had to WAIT FOR OVER AN HOUR BOTH TIMES. I have never felt more disrespected by a clinic before. They expect perfection from you but refuse to extend any courtesy. I will absolutely never go back.

Christina Patey

First time using this vet and the staff is awesome. We had our dog spayed, as their prices were very good compared to others. I even recommended my brother to have his dog neutered here. Lastly, we had out cat spayed here and zero problems. We had a death in the family around the appointment our cat was to be spayed and they boarded her for a few extra days to help me out. They didn't even charge us for one of the days. This is our new vet and we won't be going anywhere else.

Brad Lowe

Took my dog in for possible swallowing foreign object.. Dr asked some questions had me hold him while he checked his temperature checked NOTHING else not in his mouth or anything else, said he wanted to do a blood test, I was fine with that, they took my dog in the back, only to come back 5 mins later to tell me he is too strong for them to do a blood test, Yes he is strong but not once did they ask me to hold him or help as I would have been happy to do so . Told me to take him home and monitor him and if he get worse to bring him back.... I was there almost an hour & 15min and am no closer to an answer than I was when I got there. And charged me for a exam but they didn't even check my dog over . VERY NOT IMPRESSED and will not be going back. However the front counter staff was very nice and helpful

Sandi

Wonderful clinic with caring staff. I've been taking my pets there for 15 years.

Sydnee Macdonald

Amazing staff friendly, very helpful which eased my nerves when leaving my kitten with them to be spayed. Process was easy enough; Drop off, pick up and recovery. My kitty got chipped, spayed, shots, nails clipped and ears cleaned for a price you can not beat.

Megan Anderson

Now this is a real vet office, real honest and realistic. Explained what was going on and received compassion for not just me but my cat. We went here after a terrible experience at the animal emergency clinic of the Fraser valley where they tried to rip us off; we came here and were heard, they assessed our cat and went through treatment where the vet here was honest. Highly recommended

L G

My problem is not with the veterinarians themselves, but rather with the customer service, or lack of. I’ve taken both of my dogs there for a while now, and calling to get an appointment is nearly impossible. Today I was on hold for 22 MINUTES! It was the icing on the cake as the previous time I tried to get an appointment, I was on hold for 15 minutes and finally hung up. I called back and when she asked if it was an emergency, I said “no, but I’d like to not be left on hold for another 15 minutes”......and guess what, I was! And it’s consistently like this. I’ve been there many times - never is the reception desk so backed up with people that there is any excuse to make some wait over 15 minutes EVERY SINGLE TIME! It’s unacceptable and clearly they don’t value their customers (which they should since we pay them A LOT of money). I decided I’ve had enough, did some research and called another vet ...and they answered and DIDN’T put me on hold. Imagine that ????????‍♀️

Jonathan Dueck

So far so good - we have been to many different vets in the area and have felt ripped off at many of them. After some dental work for our dog we are happy with this place - hopefully we continue to have a positive experience!

Nicholas Smith

They were honest and weren't out to dig into your pockets like the 24 hour animal hospital up the road they were not a place I would recommend or at least the vet I seen the others maybe different

susan lavalley (Sukibuttons)

The doctors are so down to earth! Gentle and caring as if it was their own animal. The staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are great.

Jeannie Martin

The best vets and staff I have ever experienced! Immediately I knew our little dog was in capable, kind hands! I was right!!

Tyler robinson

I pulled into the parking lot and instead of just going in with COVID going on I called in and was asked if it was an emergency, if not could I be put on hold. To which i replied no emergency you can put me on hold. After sitting on hold outside the building for at least 15mins and watching people going in and out I proceeded inside to find a long line of people. I waited in line for another 10mins whilst still on hold as they went threw all the people, until I was called up. I asked what the point of putting people on hold was and all I got was a rude remark about how they have to deal with everyone in the clinic. Which I totally understand. What I don’t get was the snarky attitude and the fact that they can’t just tell people before they put them on hold that they are busy and probably won’t have time to talk on the phone as there are too many people in line. Is it too much to ask for a little communication??

Jasmine Cook

We’ve been going to this vet since January and have never had an issue resolved in one trip, it takes at least 3 trips. It’s not complicated issues also. And nevermind the fact that I’m weighing my dog every visit even if I was there 2 days prior and it’s not easy for an energetic dog. Whenever I call in I’m put on hold every single time, the customer service at front desk is terrible they don’t even bat an eye to you when you’re standing there waiting to check in. When I’m there for my at least 10 visits in 4 months I’m waiting at least 20 minutes AFTER my appointment time waiting to get in. My most recent time they forgot I was even there. So not impressed with this place.

Arthur Chapman

Very friendly, professional, and reasonable. Just a little hard to find, but worth it. ????

Adam Balkwill

Thanks so much you we're amazing! And a reasonable price for such great service. Bubb is healing up nicely thanks again!

john miller

Busy place, plan on at least a 2 day wait to get in,,,, Good Vets though

Carlee Orban

My dog is experiencing severe diarrhea and shaking/drooling and panting, visably suffering . I called this clinic twice this morning and they did not answer. So my boyfriend ended up walking her in as an emergency because we don't have a vehicle and it was the closest clinic for my dog. He was refused on the spot by the receptionist without any discussion, because an appointment wasn't made. I have never been declined service like this when my animal is suffering. This broad shouldn't work at a vet clinic if she lacks the remorse that most other clinics show. Maybe this place would be good if you plan for your dog to get sick? Who knows. 0/10 would not recommend.

Tilde D

We take all are furry family there. Always friendly and kind.

niloufar mirzaei

Dr. Mavedatt is one of the best that has been taking care of my furr babies ????????

kyra krohman

I can not say enough about this clinic. We have a 130lb English Mastiff X Borebol who is highly anxious at the vet. Even with medication prior to the visit he is usually unable to control his shaking and unable to regulate. Not only is the price unbelievable reasonable but the care provided is wonderful. Today we saw Dr.Ola who was the first vet ever to work with my dog in a way that he cooperated and was not petrified. She was so incredibly thorough and communicated throughout with calming energy.

Stef Newsham

I love this place! The vet's not only really care about your pets but the service is also reasonable and more affordable. I have brought all my pets here to be spayed/neutered and have had nothing but excellent service and very friendly staff. Thank you so much!!! You guys are so wonderful and caring!!!

Wendy Varga

Best clinic ever...I come over on the ferry from Victoria. I save at least half price often more than what the veterinarians charge here.

Katrina Woodward

Hannah is a great vet, very knowledgeable and easy to get along with

Grant Nelsen

We have used Langley animal clinic for all of our pets for several years now. Not only are they professional, courteous and caring their prices are amazing. We have used other vets in all of the tri-cities and have yet to find one that matches the level of service at such reasonable rates. In addition their hours of operation make it convenient to get our pet in to see a vet at all hours of the day. Their front end staff are polite and pleasant despite being busy. We have had an opportunity to see several different vets at this clinic and we have had a consistently positive experience every time.

Stéphane Gingras

Sometimes, you have to wonder why prices are so cheap. . . Sometimes, the price you don't pay cost you more. i will never know about their abilities to treat animals because I had to leave before I could see the vet. When I called to make an appointment for neutering, I was schedule at a very specific time, which I like. I thought it would be great to leave work, drop the dog and be on my way. Well, it didn't work that way. After waiting more than 20 minutes for the first intake people to talk to me, I had to leave after waiting more than 35 minutes because I had to be back at work. If time isn't an issue for you, they might be great, but I never got to that point. I don't understand how running a business like that is still possible. Maybe my expectation are too high.

Lizze

Friendly, good staff.

Ly son

A year ago my lab and I went to get his yearly shots and up until this point we had no issues. We walk into the room and the female vet was standing in the room with her rubber gloves on and a needle in her hand. We have never met her before so naturally my dog was startled. He let out a big woof and a few growls. she determined that he needed a muzzle. She called her assistant and they pinned him down with the muzzle on (what’s the reason for that???) and jabbed him. Giving him absolutely no time to process or trust this lady. I was so shocked I didn’t even have time to process but later cried in the car. I then talked to dr gibbons who apparently handles all of the complaints and explained the situation. He was quick to help and assure me that my dog will not be red flagged, marked as aggressive, need a muzzle or deal with that vet again. So, I decided to give them a second chance and take the year bringing him in just to desensitize him. Well, today the vet I saw is one I actually liked. But, my dogs file was not cleared so he could not treat my dog without a muzzle. So I said no and walked out. I appreciate and support vets for following files, it’s not his fault or the clinic rep at the front. Why wasn’t my complaint taken seriously? Why was I told my dogs file will be cleared cause he’s a good boy and didn’t deserve to be treated like that? I will not return and am taking my 3 dogs elsewhere.

Christopher Paul Brown

Very nice staff. Great Vets

Glenn Atchison

Easy in/out and priced well. We had our GSD spayed and they were better priced than other vets. Operation was quick and with no lasting effects and their communication on pricing and expectations was great. When called, their response was 15 minutes. Took time to explain and go over things. Would recommend.???? Follow up our GSD came down with an infection that more than likely not by any fault of Langley animal clinic. The follow-up regarding this was professional and of highest quality. They cleaned up her incision put a couple of extra staples in and recommended some antibiotics. After a couple of weeks, took her back in and they took the staples out, again no charge. At no time did I feel that she was in danger or not being looked after. I highly recommend Langley Animal Clinic.

Maki Tadic

Dr. Ola & crew, thank you for being so great with our rescue goat’s horn issue, hooves, and teaching us a thing or two. Rolo & M from Squamish Valley

Got my beloved cat spayed here. They were amazing barely a mark on her. Best price I could find as well.

Jeremy Kleingeltink

Super friendly and professional staff. Prices are reasonable. Always keeping my dog happy and healthy!

Ann Van

I found langley animal clinic online when I was price shopping to spay my cat. While I was quoted 4 times higher price on the north shore and felt I couldn't afford it here, I was very pleased with the reasonable charge at the clinic and the professional attention. When all was set and done I paid about $150 because of some extra stuff. No one guilted me to do any tests or unnecessary lab work prior to surgery. It's been a week that my cat has been spayed and she's recovering perfectly. I've seen 2 vets there so far and both have been outstanding. The reception is busy but the girls do their best. I don't mind driving 45 minutes to Langley to get good care for my pets at affordable prices. If you're on a budget, go to langley animal clinic, it's worth it.

Deepa Hislop

Great doctors. They took great care care of our pet. More staff is needed at the front desk. It does take at times over 20 minutes to talk to someone though the girls are always polite and always try to find a solution. I highly recommend

Called this place today, and wouldnt come based on the fact that I was on hold for 15+ minutes before hanging up. Based on the staffing numbers they announce on their waiting message, one would think they would have more than 1 person answering phones. Can only imagine the wait times if I actually was able to make an appointment. I think I dodged a bullet with this one.

Sat Sandher

Love the vets here. Staff is amazing. I have been coming here for years with my dogs

Kirsten Oldale

Very helpful and professional every time I see them. Close to home and reasonably priced

I just got back from taking my dog for nail trim . Bill came to $28. I was not told the price upfront , but bad on my part for not asking. Only reason I did not ask cuz I recently had my other dog’s nails trimmed at vet in Richmond. What kind of vet charges that ridiculous amount for nail trim?????? . In the past (In the last couple weeks) I have phoned around so I figured prices can’t be too different other than a few dollars. Much to my surprise it was double !!!!!!! The nails at my other vet were trimmed by a veterinarian. I would not recommend this place to anyone .

Ellen Brabander

Made an appointment with Dr. Wood to get my new kittens first shots and checkup but some other vet showed up and not only had a rushed appt but claimed he had prerviously been given a flea medication applied to his neck which was in fact a dewormer and prescribed him more dewormer...also recorded the wrong weight. With my kitty's neutering appt ,I specifically requested Dr. Wood to do the surgery but got the same vet as the first time...not only that but after waiting an hour to pickup up kitty ,when I got home I kept him in my bedroom for a three days to recover when I discovered FLEAS which with the heat we had quickly blew out of proportion.I was covered in itchy flea bites! My kitty is an indoor cat and didnt have fleas prior to going to this vet.. It ook me weeks to deal with and $$$ meds and sprays.Have spent thousands of dollars here over the last 25 years with our other cats with great service...things have definitely changed.

Richard Brown

Took my puppy in quickly and was open later than most, affordable and very clean and professional..

This place has atrocious management that puts zero emphasis on customer service and doesn't acknowledge their own shortcomings or do anything to remedy their bad experiences even after years of being their customer. They need to take a big look internally because they have problems. No complaints about the nice people at the front desk.

Victor Campos

Great service ,happy staff and the price are reasonable

Debra Vonk

Friendly staff. Large waiting area with coffee machine while you wait. I didn't find Dr.Nick Wood to be very personable but as long as the job is done well I can live with that. Prices are very good compared to my other vet.

Donna Patterson

We have used this vet for six years and the service has always been hit or miss. The vets change often and you get conflicting diagnosis' from each one. We had our dog in for a toe issue and an infected ear. They focused on the toe and recommended amputation at $1,000. They also gave a lot of medication that made her have bloody stools and just generally listless and not herself. We kept taking her back in hopes that she would get better and only seemed to get worse. They kept giving new prescriptions and she never seemed to get better I said enough is enough and stopped all the medication. She picked up almost overnight. We took her to a different vet when she had another toe issue and it turns out she was infecting her toe from scratching an infected ear. Once the ear treatment was addressed, her toe healed itself. She had a toe amputation for nothing. We had a 4:30 appointment yesterday and due to traffic we ran a little late. I didn't think this would be an issue as they have never taken us at our scheduled time, we have always had to wait at least 15 minutes or longer, even up to 40 minutes. With an empty reception room and an empty parking lot, we were told that we missed our appointment and would we like to reschedule for 45 later. I was shocked. I said you have never been on time for us, now we are a little late and you refuse to see us? We will never to back to this vet again. Enough is enough

pamela cookson

It's nice and clean with fast service but I did find the vet visit cost was higher than I expected and more than a lot of other vets out there

Inosensia Setiono

I brought my bunny to the emergency last night. When I arrived I called them as per policy, they put me on hold for over 10 minutes , and so I decided to hang up and call again. when I called back again they pick up. When I arrived to pick up my bunny, I can see what the receptionist was doing, and I called them and they put me on hold again.... she was on the phone with another patient maybe? but when she was done, she left the table to talk to her coworker and didnt return my call, so I had to call again. This is just a minor thing, however what worries me is that the doctor who sees my bunny googled the symptoms... I understand they are not expert at seeing bunnies, but googling symptoms is something that I can do. I decided to bring him to a different vet, and when I told her that I would bringing him to a different vet she used an annoyed voice saying " k but you still have to pay for the emergency and the regular visit ". I mean, it is common sense for me to pay for the visit... anyway... I dont think i will be coming back to this vet due to their professionalism.

elana himmelbauer

I took my 14 year old girlie there. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with kidney disease. After 24 hours of them having the results (do I have to put her down, is she suffering) they have still not called to update me. I have called 3 times and all I’m told is the vet is unavailable and will call me when available. Do not go here as they dont care about you or your pet.

Dani Antón Fernández

Thery are really good! Nice pricing on Spay. 100% recommended

Brad Schuster

Surgery for cyst removal doesn't cost over a thousand dollars in which this is what they quoted us for. The place seems to love just adding charges to every bill and charge top price for everything. Really take advantage of you there. Never used to be like that. What has changed in the last year?

Angie Callander

Great prices, quick appointments and great staff

Mark Bowles

Great pricing awsome staff

Audrey Bissonnette

Wonderful people who work at this clinic. Caring and kind

jim regan

After years with the same vet .. now changed to Langley animal clinic best move i have done in years first time ever my dog left happy and didn,t mind going back Staff was the best

Amber Smith

I have Been Bring bringing my husky to this clinic for all his vaccination and neutering. I have also brought both my cats here for the same services , so it’s safe to say that I have been a loyal customer. I phoned today asking about a minor issue my dog is having and Asked if there’s any advice they can give me so I didn’t have to bring my dog in ( due to my financial situation.. I have lost both of my jobs due to covid and am really struggling as a single parent ). The receptionist ( rude as always) said “nope, if you want a doctors opinion you have to pay for it” Are you kidding me???? Those are the words you use during a time like this? No compassion, no understanding no kindness whatsoever ! Shame on you! You Should not even be in the position of dealing with customers if you don’t even have an ounce of understanding and empathy. You have lost my business forever and I will tell everyone I know about this experience. Ps. I picked up the phone and called another vet and they gave me the greatest advice in the kindest way ♥️

Tracy Beal

Nice friendly price's are really good considering all the stuff you can run into in your pets health!!!

Ashlee Smith

Very busy clinic, some of the receptionists have an unprofessional attitude.

Melanie deBoer

Great clinic. The vets are knowledgeable, the staff are friendly and helpful, they have really good hours and their prices are reasonable

Shendi Robbins

Knowledgeable staff. Pricing upfront.

Teagan McGuire

The techs here are wonderful! Had my dog spayed for $200 including microchip, medication, cone etc. Very affordable and the staff are able to accommodate when trying to make an appointment.

Alexa Richardson

My first time to this clinic and Dr. Laura is amazing, pretty outstanding actually! You can tell that she really cares for animals. Her heart is in her job and you can see how happy she is to help. I am a first time dog owner to an almost 3 month old Puppy named Copper, and I am a big question asker, she was more than welcome to answer these questions and put you at ease. She checked Copper from head to toe very throughly and gave him his second set of shots. Copper didn't even know he was getting the shots, and was wagging his tail like crazy! You can tell she is an animal lover. I Would recommend her and Langley Animal Clinic to anyone looking for a vets who actually care about your animal and treat them like family too. Also great prices.

Andy Jaques

The cats did not love it so much...but good service and good prices.

S. Turgeon

I've brought both my dogs in to Langley animal clinic and the staff is always nice and professional. What kind of blew my expectations is the treatment my dog received when he was close to the end. He was very old and was starting to show it. He had a cancerous lumpectomy at Langley Animal Clinic and numerous check ups. The vet and staff were always so gentle with him. I was so appreciative of how good they were to him. When he passed they were so kind and even sent me a sympathy card. My pets are part of the family and I will always feel safe bringing them here. Thank you Langley Animal Clinic.

I went to the clinic for my puppy's vaccines last week, I was told that the rabies vaccine should be given separately. I told the vet that my friend's puppy just got his vaccines a few days ago, and their vet gave all the vaccines on the same day. My vet said that rabies might have some reaction, so I have to come to the clinic again in a week. I went to the clinic today, and they charged me $71.46 for the rabies vaccine. I was surprised because the vaccine was costly. My friend told me their rabies vaccine was about $25, and the clinic's website shows $26.07. The clerk said that an office visit fee was applied, which was $41.99 after a 30% discount. My puppy was not sick, and I didn't need to see a vet again in a week. I don't know the point of paying an extra office visit fee to get rabies separately since the rabies vaccine can be given together with other vaccines. I could get the rabies vaccine last week if they told me I had to pay an extra $42. I feel I paid extra money for nothing. I am not happy with their service.

Cass B

The vet himself was nice enough, & did a decent spay on my cat. The support staff leave MUCH to be desired. Inaccurate paperwork, they put you on hold for a long time each time you call. They also didn't provide accurate dosing instructions for the pain medication; it's a good thing I read the papers I was given or my cat would have been given too much had I followed their instructions.

CS Work

North and West Vacouver quoted the spay for my dog around $800. Got the same procedure down at Langley Animal Clinic for $175 after tax. Staff and doctor were incredibly nice. Couldn't ask for better service. Highly recommend.

C Sohier

Friendly, knowledge and experienced , I trust their there advice and LAC is our go to place for pet care

Emily Halliday

Dr. MacDonald is very caring and out vet of choice. Very compassionate and listens to all of our concerns.

Ashifa Ahmed

I normally don’t write reviews but had to in this case. I had an appointment for my dog at 3:20 and got delayed due to road construction. I phoned the clinic at 3:15 and told them I would be 10 minutes late. The clerk I spoke to said that was fine, but they had a policy and if I was even one minute later then 3:30, they would not take me. I got in the door at 3:30 exactly. No exaggeration. There were 3 receptionists behind the desk, one was helping another client and the other two did not look up. I waited 2 meters away, as per signage, and when the person in front of me was done, I moved up to the receptionist...the time just became 3:32. I gave her my dog’s name and the first thing she said was I was late and they would not see my dog. I explained that I had called to inform them that I would be 10 mins late and understood they would not serve me if I was, but I was there at the time they agreed they would see me at. She said she saw the note logging my call on the computer, but the “appointment color on my computer has changed and the doctor will not see your dog, you will have to reschedule.” I understand policy... I manage an outpatient environment that deals with human beings and I get it; however, the delay that put me over their allowance for punctuality... 2 minutes, was their fault, not mine! I calmly and respectfully explained to the very young clerk with a lot of attitude, that I had driven from a function in Richmond, recognizes that I would be late, phoned to confirm I would still be seen and that my dog’s ears were bleeding. Was there anything that they could do? She offered, “you can take your so to the emergency clinic.” She also said I was welcome to wait but there was no guarantees that I would be seen even after sitting for an extended period of time and that she did not recommend it. Her attitude was uncaring and unprofessional. I have come back to this clinic, even though I live in South Surrey because of the professionalism and quality of care. Today’s experience was not a reflection of this. I am not sure if there has been a change in management or if this was a one off, but even working with human patients in a clinic environment, there is policy, but also room for critical thinking and judgement. If the cause of my being over the 10 minute allowance by 2 mins was their own staff then this could have been considered. I hope to hear from the administration for the clinic about this incident as this will be a telling sign as to whether they do care about customer service. Thank you.

jim cosgrove

Good veterinarians, ample parking, little place there for the dogs to go the bathroom, bags provided

corban scholz

Friendly staff and fairly priced services.

Sara Edwards

At the Langley Animal Clinic the front desk staff are always welcoming, the Drs and vet techs are caring and professional. As well the prices are fair, hours are accommodating and they start appointments promptly on time the earlier you visit in the day understandably the later you book in the day they do tend to fall behind. Special shout out to Dr Cox! Half a year ago our journey began. It all started with an emergency visit for our pup. We then visited the office weekly at first, then by weekly finally working ourselves up to once a month. Dr Cox did everything necessary to figure out what was wrong with our stubborn pup. She stuck with us for 6 long months of changes in meds, anxious office visits, extreme highs and the lowest of lows. Finally near the end of our time together Dr Cox got to meet our attitude filled spunky girl and we are so happy to have Kona back to normal to ring in the New Year! We can’t thank the Langley Animal Clinic and Dr Cox enough for helping us through this journey!

Good place to bring your pets when they are sick ????

Sara Carlson

They made me feel very comfortable with leaving both my dog and cat who have both been spayed at this clinic. I have recommended them to all my friends. I even drive out of the way to go there.

Ana Zupan

Although the vet service is fantastic, and the staff is always kind, it is severely hard to get through to anyone on the phone for general enquiries. There is nothing more frustrating than that. I can appreciate that the staff is busy, but perhaps that is when management needs to reassess their staffing needs. It is ridiculous to be on hold 10 mins at a time, and the reason is 'we are busy'.

byron arsenault

Always a easy place to deal with have dealt with them for many years

Vanessa Swanson

They got my dog in quickly at a short notice. We were pleasantly surprised by how affordable the treatment was. Would recommend this place.

Todd Davidovitch

Great place they really care there.very reasonable

Ela Gunson

Great clinic - very busy so make sure you are on time. Dr Laura McDonald and Dr Nick Wood are who my pets (dogs, a cat and a bunny) see mainly - fantastic vets, patient, kind and so knowledgeable. I highly recommend this clinic. Also not overpriced - affordable.

Ivan Rodriguez

One stop shop for your pet. They have all the services under one roof. Reasonable prices, and open 24/7.

Coach Walter Orozco

Very friendly place, clean and good prices.

Shawn Ahmadi

Hands down the best service I could ever ask for. Everyone is so kind and knowledgeable. They have really helped me and my pet out in some tough times and have always gone above and beyond!

Tyler Waddel

Good prices but I felt the vet had no idea what they were talking about

boxer beauty

I bring my dog here and have also brought a cat here. I like the doctors here, they are very kind and compassionate. They are very efficient and informative.

Juliet Delta

I have been a customer here for over 10 years. Most of the vets here are great with a few exceptions. It takes a very long time to get ahold of the front desk staff. Expect to be on hold for at least 10 minutes. When you have a scheduled appointment time, also expect to be waiting in the waiting room for a good 30 minutes. This is very frustrating. Used to have much better customer service.

Angela Paschal

I used to Like this vet years ago. I of course got a pet during the pandemic. I can absolutely not get anyone on the phone to even book an appointment. I've sat on the phone for 40 minutes to speak with someone. I've even left a msg as for a call back which took over 4 days to get from them. When I tried to book spaying for my small dog I was given almost a two month wait time. I don't care if I have to pay a little more to a different vet, I'm done with them and changing so I can actually tlk to someone and be able to make an appointment.

Clyde Barfett

Great place to take your pet. Good people. Reasonable rates.

Tristan Helms

My poor old cat needed some dental work. I was recommended here by a friend. After the initial consultation I was quoted $1800 for removal and all the other things. I knew it was expensive but my buddy was in pain. I dropped him off on schedule and the staff were on top of it. He was done and good to go before the day was up, and the work was really well done. Bonus - The work was cheaper than expected so I got a refund of nearly $600 from the pre-payment. Super awesome - many vets would have just kept it all.

Emily Ortis

Vets are great to deal with. Front end staff can be a bit disorganized and the new phone answering system does not allow you to speak with anyone - you need to leave a voicemail. Often I wait 1-2 days to have my call returned.

Keith eastcott

Great service, excellent staff. Took great care of my puppy.

Michelle Singleton

We have been with Langley Animal Clinic for some time, for both our small animals and our (rescue) pigs and calves. Drs. Gibbons and Harris go above and beyond to ensure our animals have the best care and they are very accommodating. The staff at Langley Animal Clinic are nothing but friendly and helpful.

Geek Abilities

I have been bringing my Dog here monthly since he was a pup. Love the staff and the vets are always awesome.

Daniel Blouin

Was able to get an appointment with very short notice. In and out very quickly. Price of food and for services rendered was extremely fair. This is my new vet and I highly recommend them. Thank you Langley Animal Clinic

Marsha Bruce

So thankful for their help!

Alicia Stoyeff

I moved my dog to this vet just this past year as I heard very good things about them. All three of my first visits were good ones. I have a very high energy pup and even so the vet was surprisingly patient with his craziness. My dog was extremely sick this past week. I brought him in on Monday and we had a new vet see him. He walked in the room and paid NO attention to my dog who was on the floor, no energy at all. Didn't even examine or check my dog's heartbeat which I am sure should be a basic thing to do. The other vet ALWAYS checks his entire body over even when he't not sick! He jumped to the conclusion that my dog needed x rays and when I asked if he was sure if there wasn't anything else we could do for his symptoms, he said "if you can't afford it, you don't have to do them" WOW talk about not compassionate at all. It's not about the money, it's about the fact that he showed no care towards my dog. He didn't even have an idea of what his symptoms could be. Of course I did the x rays but it was NEVER needed. His symptoms got worse on the Wednesday and because I could not get him in until later I brought him to a new vet. Right away she came in the room gave my dog pets and a treat, checked his heartbeat from 3 different areas and also asked for me to close his mouth so she could check it without him panting. The other vet claimed he tried to check my dogs heartbeat but couldn't because he was panting too hard. BS!! She also took his temperature and checked his mouth and throat before assigning him proper medication and antibiotics, stating he most likely has a chest infection/bronchitis. I called to complain about this and was told management would contact me. 3 days later and I am still waiting. The girls at the front desk are lovely and my usual vet is great but I am not impressed at all with the last vet that saw my dog. If you do not LOVE animals and don't know anything and show NO compassion. It's time to get a new job!!! The second vet also called on Friday night to check in on my dog. Talk about a GREAT vet!

Miss Fraser Valley

This clinic was able to offer us a same day appointment, however when we were a few minutes late the receptionist treated us with disrespect; stated we missed our appointment and they wouldn't be able to see us for 4 hours. The staff were not kind to us, therefore I can only imagine how they would treat our animals. After driving over an hour to get to the clinic to only be turned away, and to be turned away with complete unnecessary rude behaviour... We will not be coming back to this clinic.

Clayton Kosterman

If your pet is hurt they get you in fast which is great. But if you have an appointment you could be waiting for an hour regardless

Shelley Nicholls

Sadly the service has gone downhill. We have been long time clients, however the quality of care is just not there anymore. Each and every time I call I am hold for lengthy periods of time, calls are not returned when they say they will be returned, test results have been lost twice in the last 3 months, getting a refill on my dog's medication takes at least a week. When I told the vet I was unhappy. The response was yes, I understand and that they could refund me for the test I paid for that somehow was never submitted to the lab.

Jackie Francis

Had my cat spayed here great service, great staff very reasonably priced.

Dave V

Still waiting for a surgery quote/date to be emailed for my dog's knee surgery. I was told 3-5 business days and its been 2 weeks now. Phoned in after 3 regular business days, they told me to wait a few more days. (Fair enough) Waited a few more regular business days and they told me a few more days. Needless to say, I went to Mountian View Vet just on the other side of Langley and had a day and night difference of experience. Dog got checked out and recieved a quote and a scheduled day for surgery the following day. Will most likely not return to Langley Animal Clinic. Not mad at the service I recieved, they're probably very busy with a high volume of cases. But just disappointed because it's one less clinic I feel I can rely on. Was quoted $5-7000 for a TPLO surgery and Mountian View is able to do it for $3500 with a better, more experienced vet. The Vet I dealt with at Langley animal clinic told me he hasn't done alot and wasn't as confident as he should be doing it. Definitely made the right choice to choose Mountian View. ***Update*** Today, (March 4th, 2020) my dog recieved his surgery at Mountian View, very happy and satisfied with the service and level of care. Still no email or contact from Langley animal clinic, almost a full month later.

Cody Couper

Excellent pricing for spay with great staff. We had problems with our pup post-surgery (she tore her stitches) and they got us in that night for staples. Follow up appointments due to the surgery are covered, all you have to pay for are the supplies (drugs/staples/etc.). Overall great and professional experience and would recommend anyone looking to spay or neuter their dog.

Judy Scopelleti

I have had great service here. Good advice on kitty care and never try to sell me something. My cat has not had serious issues yet but I wouldn't hesitate to take her here if she did.

Christopher ryan Evans

Always helpful with our pets. Good people. Easy going environment

Lyns W

Every time we've brought our dog in for checkups or other concerns the staff have been compassionate and wonderful. We enjoy bringing our fur child here! I highly reccomend bringing your pet here.

Paul Chiang

I buy special pet food from there. Pricing was moderately expensive...

Karen Bannister

I have been a client at this clinic for over 20 years. I had always been pleased with their service...but over the past 5 years I have seen a steep decline, recently I called for an appointment and was on hold for 1 HOUR, this is 100% unacceptable, I left a message and no one has returned my call. They will charge you if you are late for an appointment , yet, they are okay if you have to wait on the phone or at their office for up to 1 hour, my time is also very valuable. I used to really like this clinic and always recommended it, but they are just to unreliable to do so anymore. Customer service is so important, I hope they look into improving this, hiring more staff to answer the phone is most definately a starting point.

scott villett

The staff are awesome...the only people I'd trust to care for our boys

George Ingham

Vet came to my house in Maple ridge. Helped save my goat. Prices were reasonable.

leesa letnick

Lost a loyal customer today who would refer people to you. Very disappointed in your customer service.

Sheldon Rempel

We've been using Langley Animal clinic for many years. Always great friendly service, good hours and top notch Drs. They've been with us through the thick and thin, ups and downs and many adventures of owning cats and dogs. Nothing but positive things to say about the clinic. If you're looking for a new doctor or clinic for your 4 legged family members I highly recommend Langley Animal clinic.

Michelle Greene

Usually my experience is great, yesterday however was not so good .. Unfriendly front desk clerk , no greeting , no eye contact, just a " gimme a min" 13mins later I was finally helped by another receptionist

Dot Tompkins

Our dog had been having trouble with bladder stones and we needed to have her seen as she was unable to urinate, which can be quite serious. I made an appointment with this vet as we had been there before and our regular vet was closed for the holiday. When we went in, we saw a wonderful vet who was very caring and helped me to understand what our pet needed. They were unable to complete the needed catheterization so did what they could and we were asked to bring her back the next morning and leave her to have it done ln the afternoon .We paid for the procedure and meds and went home. The doctor called us later to go over our dog's condition and what our options were re possible surgery. I took her in on my way to work at 8am and waited to leave her. When I was called up, I was told that they required a $180 credit card deposit to have her there. This had not been communicated previously and we have never had to leave a deposit at a vet. We always pay our vet bills on the day of care. We have never not paid or reneged on a vet bill. I do not have a credit card as I do not want to incur debt. My daughter does, but she was on her way to work. The woman at the front said they could not have her there without the deposit. I didn't know what to do. I didn't have the money with me. The night before, we had been told that this was serious and that there was the potential for us to lose our dog. This was naturally very upsetting. It was humiliating to be made to feel undeserving of care because I did not have a credit card. I left there in tears, extremely upset. After trying to get ahold of my daughter and her card number unsuccessfully, I drove away. Thankfully, our regular vet, Brookswood Veterinary, was able to see her on an emergency basis after I called them in tears, not knowing what to do. And guess what? They didn't ask for a credit card deposit. My daughter and I are very grateful to the doctor who saw our dog the day before and for the wonderful care we received. However, I don't believe we would go back. The lack of care and empathy we received this morning was unacceptable and made us wonder if our beloved pet would have been cared for the way she was the day before if we left her there.

West Coast Mini Dachshunds

We've taken all our dogs there. From mini doxies to large mastiffs, they treat every animal with respect and love.

So appointment is for 11:30 am for our dogs to get nail's cut( don't like nail's cut) it's now 12:15 and finally get in?? I understand it's busy ;but to see a customer's waiting 15 minutes to pay a bill? Can you please focus on customer service!! Some of us work and really don't want to wait hours for a 10 minute cut. Or to have to stand in a line up to pay a bill???? hmmmmm

Loukas Makris

Cat Lady

We have been coming to Langley Animal Clinic for many years. The doctors and staff are wonderful, caring, compassionate, and helpful. We highly recommend this vet clinic!

Sandy Bayley

THIS CLINIC HAS BEEN SOLD TO AMERICAN CONGLOMERATES!! Big change now. No longer a 5 from me. It’s become assembly line big business. We have been coming here for 25 years. Read reviews of all the long time customers. My dog has cancer and they said no surgery after they booked them Then they want you s to rebook to get pain medication. They told us it has a heart murmur so no. It didn’t have a heart murmur on its appoint 5 days ago when they booked her surgery. They lost her records of 14 years. Told her s to go back to our regular vet. They are her regular vet!!!????

Michelle Kovacs

Switched from our regular vet as every experience I have with these guys are always awesome!

Allie B

Our dog needed emergency surgery and the staff and doctors went over and above to get us in quickly and efficiently. Took amazing care of our dog and were really reasonable with the fees. We are extremely grateful for everyone's efforts and would highly recommend this clinic!!!

DJ J

Dr. Wood and the rest of the veterinary staff are great here. Straight forward and helpful!

K Mara

Very rude staff, misleading information and not compassionate at all!!

Jennifer Pineda

I used to come here all the time with my last kitty and the service was great. Recently though, I brought in my new Oriental cat who they diagnosed with stomach cancer with no options for treatment. I wanted to stop the suffering as he was in so much pain and discomfort. Heartbreaking. The vet made me go home with syringes of something that didn’t work. The vet told me, “Well if it was my pet I would want to try”. I was not allowed to choose the option of euthanasia. I took my poor little guy to another vet and he was re-examined. Turns out he had lung cancer - apparently the vet at Langley read the xray backwards. My poor kitty was in so much pain and could barely breathe by the end. Needless to say, I am so sad that I wasn’t able to make my own decision in regards to my own pet. Heartbroken.

Just a really good clinic always able to fit me in and they take good care of my animals, I go there cause I trust the owners and I trust the few particular vets there.

Absolutely terrible experience here. We've been going for quite some time as it was recommended to us, but after multiple failures we've had enough. Appointment times seem to be merely a suggestion. Will look for every avenue to overcharge. Will run same tests for extra charge without explanation. Customer service is horrendous (literally will yell after asking simple questions). Take your loved ones elsewhere.

Best price and very professional

Very bad service. Wouldn't want to take my pet here again

I've been bringing my dog here for 9 years. In the last few months I've noticed the quality of service has gone down dramatically. They don't seem to keep good quality records for your account. Maybe I'm wrong, but shouldn't they have a record of the meds and what is due for refills? I've had to bring my dog in for blood tests where they said it should be 24-48hrs for results. I called 5 days later, left a message with no call back. I called the following day and they said they weren't ready yet. I can't refill all the prescriptions without the results. They have called me in for visits that are not necessary. That gets expensive not to mention the 45 minutes past the appointment time I had to wait. Expect to wait 10min on hold when you call. Lastly, they had to take some urine for testing. Maybe tell the customer that blood might visible in the urine after the procedure??

Please read the entire paragraph...... DO NOT GO THERE!!! THEY MESSED UP A SIMPLE HEALTH CHECK. Put simply, I brought my new kitten in for a health check and they overlooked a simple ear mite issue. I discovered it myself later the same day and after returning with the kitten, they wanted to charge me $50 for a second exam. After arguing, they offered a discount to $35 plus 20 for the ear treatment product. I told them I have no problem paying for the product but NOT the visit. They then offered only $10 for the product and told me that it is usually free for the first treatment so in generosity if I pay the 35 for the visit they would not charge for the product. I was not happy and told the vet to have a manager or owner contact me. When leaving I was asked to pay the full price for the product. I PAID BECAUSE I AM NOT CHEAP. Following this, I still hadn't gotten a call from management and after many attempts, I was put through to a voice mail which was not returned. I called again and left a message with the receptionist to have my call returned by management. Again they avoided me and had the receptionist call back with the message that EAR MITES DEVELOP QUICKLY AND THEY DENY THAT MY KITTEN HAD THEM UPON EXAMINATION. I explained again that we discovered the ear problem only one hour after she had her (incomplete) exam. THEY ARE STILL DENYING THIS. In summary: They lie to cover their mistakes, management hide behind their front line workers, they don't care about the animals health as long as they take your money. *****AVOID*****AVOID*****AVOID

Dr. Danielle was so professional, reassuring and kind, caring for my elderly dog and me crying in the office. The receptionist was also very helpful and friendly. Its the third vet I tried since moving from Europe, and I'll be going again for continued palliative care.

Went to Langley Animal Clinic with our house pekin duck for her extensively severe infected feet (bumblefoot) which constantly bleeding out, surprisingly they took her in for a surgery immediately and to top it up the bill came to only $165 with medications and bandages INCLUDED!!! Unlike the quotes that most other vets given which was $650-$750 not including medications. If you like getting ripped off with all kinds of ridiculous charges and don't mind it at all, feel free to go somewhere else. Otherwise, I would HIGHLY recommend this clinic with great people!!! Silly our duck is so happy now and doing so much better with her fast recovering, please our thank you LAC!!!! ????????

They are there for emergency! Our old vet didn't have time for an emergency in the early afternoon. LAC took an EM appointment imediately. Even though LAC is a 30-40 min drive we will be going here from the Tricities to recieve best care and great pricing without paying for unnecessary treatments.

I’ve been going to Langley Animal Clinic for YEARS, upon my visits early last year I had to deal with some pretty rotten receptionists. They were so awful that I was very much considering changing veterinarian clinics. Nevertheless , I had recently decided to take my new puppy there as it wasn’t doing too well, and needed to go in for a quick check up. When I say I HESITATED going, I really did. When I called I was put on hold which is fine because I understand they are a busy clinic so I happily waited, then the call was promptly answered by the most kind young lady! She was so polite and kind and helpful when booking my appointment, she made it very easy and quick and even asked how I was doing and enjoying my new furry addition to the family! Wow! I was so surprised at how kind she was, as in the past there has been bad receptionists! Ironically when I arrived to the clinic I was greeted with a smile and a kind “hello I can help you right over here”. I headed towards her direction and told her I was there for my appointment and she had checked me in quickly and was very lovely. I asked her if she was new there and if she was the one who booked my appointment, and she said she had only been there since October and that she was the one who originally booked my appointment. I told her she doing great and it’s very appreciated to have happy, friendly, and respectful staff, instead of miserable and angry ones! I had my appointment with the doctors who are great as usual, and checked out. I had to ask for the receptionists name because she honestly had incredible customer service that deserves recognition! Thank you Sarah for all your kindness and help making my visit to Langley Animal Clinic incredible! Will definitely be returning, seeing that they are improving their staff!

Very poor experience today at the Langley Animal Clinic. Disappointing especially after having received great treatment for my previous dog. Started with non-existent customer servicel. 2 staff right at the door when I walked in...no one said hello. 2 staff at the desk. One on the phone, the other just sitting there. I stood there for 5 minutes Could have at least acknowledged me. Dr. Arminder Brar was the vet and he was awful!!!!! I put a muzzle on the dog as I had only been fostering him for 3 days and just wanted to be cautious. I explained this to the vet. He wanted ME to lift the dog onto the table. A 31kg dog! Maverick was getting a bit stressed out by the whole experience. To be expected..most dogs get stressed at the vet. Dr Brar went to get an assistant to help, them came back alone. He didn't make any effort to look at the area of concern. He called Maverick aggressive! Maverick DID NOT demonstrate ANY signs of aggression. He was sitting by my feet and at one point laid down. Slightly stressed yes, but aggressive no!!! (Compared to the stress level my previous dog used to experience, Mav was doing fine!!!!) Brar spent most of the 20 min. appointment on his laptop writing up 2 prescriptions. He explained one Rx was an anti inflammatory and how to give it. The other Rx was for Maverick's aggressive behaviour to calm him for the next appointment. He explained 3 TIMES how to give the sedative before the next appointment. Breed discrimination!!!! Mav is an American Staffordshire terrier and he's wearing a muzzle. So he automatically gets an Rx for a sedative after being called aggressive. I rejected the Rx for the sedative as there WON'T BE a next appointment at Langley Animal Clinic

My kitten did spay here, nice place.

Been going there for over 20 years finally fed up with the quality of service for my dog. Waited 30 mins for a 2 min appointment which they had no idea why I was even there. Moving vets for my dog as he does not deserve the quality of care from them.

They are so amazing. we got our puppy (Toby) to be fixed so warm welcome from the staffs, great examination by vet doctor, staffs was sophisticated they know what exactly to do. After surgery Toby was fine and happy, No pain or side effect at all as well as reasonable price we got there from north Vancouver although it is far from our home, 100% satisfaction worth it.

Dr. Woods was very kind and compassionate during a difficult time.

Troy Smith

Vets are awesome and they can usually get you in the same day.

Graham Woolley

I’ve been a customer of Langley Animal Hospital for about 20 years but something has changed the customer service has gone downhill, this has nothing to do with the veterinarians but the reception and appointment booking is the worst. I can never reach a receptionist and they ask you to leave a message which they don’t return, if this is just a manpower issue then hire someone, god knows you charge enough. Ridiculous, come on guys get it together, this has been going on for the past year and please don’t blame Covid.

Jett Mannings

Decent vets, seem nice from our two visits. But the phone line is a freaking mess. Our boy was vomiting last night and diarrhea this morning. Tried calling repeatedly around 11, kept being on hold and disconnected. Wound up taking him to a different vet instead because of the poor communication.
