This place always has the most welcoming people. You can tell each and every staff member truly loves animals. The vets are younger, they listen to your concerns, they do thorough exams, and they treat your pets like family. The prices are better than most places as well. I highly recommend!

We had an excellent experience at Celtic Creatures Veterinary Clinic. We travelled down from Dartmouth Yesterday for the weekend and when we got here I noticed a rash on my dogs belly. Today i noticed it was bleeding so I called the vet and this was the only one that was willing to take us. We didn’t have an appointment and they were gonna take him and check him in between other patients visits. Thankfully they had a cancellation and we were able to get in right away. All the staff is so friendly! The veterinarian Dr Paige Hebert was amazing! She answered all my questions. My dog loved her. She’s so nice. I highly recommend this clinic. I wish I had a veterinarian like her up in Dartmouth. Thank you so much for all your help with Dodger. ????

Called in for a puppy check, understood they weren't accepting new clients at this time. Would have to wait four weeks for a vaccine, understood. Stated I am calling on behalf of my mom. Would not make an appointment without speaking to my mom. The male who answered the phone was very very rude. Set a poor reflection of the quality and service they provide. This left a bad taste in my mouth. I take my cat here and have had Celtic Creatures as our cats vet for a long time. Not once have I ever been treated so rudely. Employees who do answer the phone are usually very kind, understanding and show true compassion for the pet. Not this person.

Bar none, this has to be the best veterinary clinic on Cape Breton; my family is demanding in the level of professionalism and care we require for our beloved pets, and the doctors and staff at Celtic Creatures have met and exceeded our expectations at every turn. Thank you for all of your hard work and endless dedication to pet health. What people sometimes don’t understand is that you are human beings and seeing extremely sick pets and dealing with emotionally charged people all day long is exhausting and mentally draining. Making the decision to only allow vaccinated people in your clinic is absolutely the right idea. Every single vet clinic is struggling with being understaffed and over worked right now and you cannot risk shutting down or losing even one staff member to this deadly virus.

This would be 0 stars if not for my last rep I spoke with!! New to living in CB, Called a couple weeks ago as I was looking for a new vet in my area to switch to. Older woman who didn't give a name was EXTREMELY rude and ignorant on the phone. Wouldn't give me the time of day to speak and told me to pretty much not bother calling back as it would give the same results. ( I thought maybe the clinic was really busy with an emergency and that's why she wouldn't talk to me.) I called back last week against my better judgement, because of a friend's strong recommendation, and the rep Andrea that I spoke with was amazing. I can't praise her enough. She answered every question honestly and to the best of her ability with unmatched professionalism. If I do decide to give them my business it will be purely based upon Andrea's fantastic customer skills. pI dont know who the first woman was but she shouldn't be reception in ANY JOB!

I have taken my cat to Celtic for over 2 years as he was starting to not feel well. After blood work and a urine test detected diabetes so i need to give him a shot of insulin 2 times a day. So i called to get more insulin and they keep putting me on hold then said he needs a check up . I told them that he just had one when he got hair cut over in north sydney. Well she got mad at me saying why are you taking him there and say that from now on i can get North Sydney animal Hospital to get his insulin! So Not Professional and just the last year i spent over $ 800.00 there.

Just let me say the vet herself is amazing as she did everything right for our little girl as for the person who runs the billing dept you tell someone they have 3 months to pay the bill made all payments until the last one which was due on April 30th but it didn't get paid until May 6th due to waiting for ei approval which we did call and let them know and was paid on the 6th of May and you refuse to see the dogs because of it now wow...

They force their clients to be vaccinated with covid vaccine. They discriminate against people that cannot have this vaccine and they will tell you, you are no longer a client if you ask any questions. They have removed the ability to post comments on their facebook page. They also think that when you're dog is very ill and needs to be euthanized that a booking a week out is normal. I would never use this vet clinic again, they are going to have a huge lawsuit on their hands.

I wouldn't even give them one star. They are unsupportive in emotional situations. Refused to care for a sick animal because they had been to another vet in the area over a year ago just to get a prescription filled. Very rude.
