Graduating student from the nutrition program - this school is incredible. Yes we had some bumps along the way as we were the first graduating class however the school was aware and did its best to be accommodating and compassionate towards the students, the changes, and how that affected us. The teachers are incredible - full of knowledge and willingness to share that with their students. The clinic hours in itself are priceless as a student and I am not sure other programs offer such an extensive set up, because of the clinics the public gets a chance to experience holistic medicine first hand at a reasonable/free price. Check it out if your interested for education or for healing!

Pacific Rim College will always be a special place for me. The education I received through the Diploma of Acupuncture was thorough, insightful, and well rounded. I gained a lot of valuable experience through the clinical portion of the program, which has truly prepared me for my own practice. The instructors were so passionate and knowledgeable, with many years of their own experience. Lectures were always engaging and instructors really took the time to make sure the material was being understood. I felt very supported by my instructors, fellow classmates, and staff through-out my time at PRC. The education I received was so extensive that I felt well prepared going into my board exams, which I successfully completed and have been practicing as a Registered Acupuncturist for over 2 years now. The college is truly an inspiring community of people who are making an enormous impact on healthcare!

I was a student there for more than a year, I had to come back to my homecountry but the school is what I miss the most. It was like my house and the people that work there like my family. Alway supporting me. The teachers are amazing and you can find a wide variety of western and chinese herbs in the dispensary. The community clinic helps hundreds of people in need. Thanks PRC!!!

I can't say enough about this wonderful college. The space is beautiful, the energy serene and powerful, and the admin staff go above and beyond at all times. The instructors are so passionate about teaching and helping people to heal - they give 110% to their students every single day! I'm always amazed at the dedication that the students who attend the college have. They truly have healing hearts, minds and spirits, and come from all over the world to take their passion to the next level. Especially exceptional is the hands-on experience that the students get in their clinic classes, where ultimately, they learn to work one on one with their patients. I am a soon to be graduate at Pacific Rim College and I cannot say enough amazing things about this school. From a students perspective, the teachers are amazing, the curriculum and workshops offered have such a wide range to fit everyones wants & needs. I have also attended PRC previous to my studies as a patient for nutrition & acupuncture and had great experiences! Everyone was really professional, I really trusted my acupuncturist and felt it to be super beneficial! I highly recommend checking out PRC if you are in the Victoria area or looking into Skype consults for distance support.

I've attended the college for years now - both as a student and as a patient. I have found Pacific Rim to be one of the most incredible institutions for the study of true health care. The programs cover such depth of material from biomedical sciences to the exploration of philosophical ideas that underly our views on health and wellness. In my experience, the staff are very knowledgable and willing to put in enormous effort whether it be to help you understand the material in each course, find courses that work for you, or get the care you need in regards to your own health. As a former full-time student and graduate, I highly recommend this institution for anyone interested in taking their health and wellness knowledge to a greater level.

Getting blindsided by transphobia and dismissiveness eclipsed the good experiences I had had there. The organization just hasn't done the work to understand transphobia or their role in it. I felt unsafe and on edge any time I was there.

I would highly recommend Pacific Rim College's Diploma of Phytotherapy program. After months of researching the different herbal medicine programs in North America, I applied to Pacific Rim College where I have since graduated. I was not disappointed. PRC offers one of the most extensive herbal medicine programs in North America with on campus clinical training, an impressive herbal dispensary, and caring, passionate, and knowledgeable faculty and staff. My learning was enhanced by the integrative class room experience for many of the core courses, where I was able to learn alongside students from other programs offered at PRC, such as Acupuncture, TCM, and Nutrition. This allowed for a collaboration and sharing of knowledge and various approaches to health. PRC is also committed to protecting the environment, promoting sustainable practices, and giving back to the community. The herbal dispensary makes organic and ethically sourced plant material a priority, and the college's student clinic provides hundreds of treatments at low or no cost, allowing those that could otherwise not afford it to receive regular treatments. During my studies, Pacific Rim College became my second home and created a community where I felt supported, nurtured, and well-educated.

As a former instructor, I can honestly say that Pacific Rim College is easily one of the top Holistic Medicine colleges in North America. The feedback from students is always about the strong sense of support, community, world class instruction, feeling prepared for their dream career once complete, and they always want to come back and take every program there! Alright, so would I :) I loved working there and greatly miss it (I moved cities, so I had to leave). Don't think twice about where to study!

This school is absolutely incredible… the student acupuncture clinic, nutritional counselling and herbologist consultations are the best form of natural healing I have ever received. Everyone from reception, to instructors to the amazing students this school attracts are so kind and are there to ensure you have the best experience possible. They have been treating a LONG list of health issues for me, and especially now being on their wellplan I don’t have to choose between my body healing and financially affording to live. I am now beyond excited to soon start there as a herbalist student. If you’ve never done acupuncture or are new to this world this is the absolute best place to go to feel safe, heard and be well informed! This place has healed me in more ways than I could ever imagine, thank you!

This is a very welcoming institution. Though I’m not a student, I’ve sat in on several lectures (during the pandemic) and as a teacher myself, I was absolutely impressed by the level of knowledge, professionalism, and courtesy given to everyone on the call. The lessons I heard were engaging and even entertaining to me as a bystander. The teachers made me wish I was a student again which is a difficult task for anyone to accomplish on a zoom call.
