Ordered delivery, waited, had to walk out in the pouring rain to get my food as the driver wouldn't get out of her vehicle. We tried multiple times to use the debit machine that did not work, then had to drive to the restaurant myself to pick up the food and use the debit machine there. Food tasted good, just had to eat around the hair we found in the chop suey. Would not recommend.

Could you ask for a friendlier staff? No, you could not. The team here is extremely friendly, cheerful and accommodating. The food was excellent but the portions could be bigger. We were visiting this place while in town for Billy Barker Days. 4 stars only because the restaurant is small and conversations are within ear shot.

Food was over cooked very cheap quality food for high prices. Took our food back not with the intention of full refund till we got rude comments from staff or owner not sure which. We went in to give constructive criticism so they may try to put and end to delivering over cooked food. Was met with rude customer support. Although we received full refund. Definitly great experince! Had chicken chow mien sweet and sour chicken and sweet and sour pork. It was the best I've had since moving to Canada. Thank you for the great food

Best Chinese food in town, I especially enjoy the ginger beef and spicy salty prawns. It would be nice to see this establishment provide their menu online.

Fresh vegetables and good food, meat is always well trimmed. Everything I've tried has been well made, not all batter and not overly greasy. It's slightly pricey compared to what I'm used to paying down in the valley but for the area is reasonably priced and portions are generous. Staff is friendly.

I honestly don't know how people can say the staff here are nice or polite, nice compared to a vicious dog yes. Worst service I've ever experienced from a restaurant period, especially the Chinese lady who runs the place. Also I asked them to make my food extra hot (spicy) and they refused! Never has a Chinese restaurant refused me this. The food itself is kinda just average, I'm a Chinese food lover and been to Chinese restaurants all over BC as well as in the US and Australia. And this food isn't very good.

Was told several years ago that my business was not appreciated and to not come back. Have not been back - my money is good anywhere. It had been used to patronize many other food businesses in Quesnel. To clarify - I did NOT visit the restaurant recently. I walked past and was interpreted as having been at the restaurant.

This place used to be great when it was located on the West Side. Since it moved the take out or rather the delivery orders are so inconsistent, usually very disappointing. They are dry not enough sauce, and not hot, it's as if the food has been sitting around under heat lamps or something? Its a shame as they were really good :(

Worst restaurant ever. The owners scream at us, not a smile on the face ever. The food is bad tasting and the owners have told multiple people they don't care if they get bad ratings online and on facebook. They snapping at us like dogs treating us with contempt. Don't pay your good money to people who don't care for the customer, imagine what they might put in the food if they don't care!

Our beef was GREEN. It was so old!!! The chow neon had about 1 tbsp of chicken on it, the beef and broccoli had 3 pieces of beef in the entire container. The sweet and sour pork tasted like it came out of a sewage pile, the egg roll was so oily and burnt with nothing but soggy rotten sprouts inside. After spending $50 on a dinner for two I called and the lady was rude and told me that if we have almost full containers we can return but nobody else has ever complained. My husband went and brought it back and she tried telling us we ate it all.. too bad that there was half of the food in the containers and the other half was on our paper plates. She gave our money back and yelled at my husband to never come back. No apology or anything. Absolute rudeness and we believe she was going to serve the food we took back to a future guest. Nobody takes food back during COVID but she was insistent on getting as much of the food back as possible. I have also reported them to Environmental health as it was dirty in there and they should be investigated for selling well over expired food. Avoid this place at all costs.

Asked for a substitution of honey garlic for the sweet and sour and I got dry no sauce, phoned to ask y and was just told I need to order honey garlic if I want it and pay for it and delivery.... sure thanks. We'll try out another store next time. If it's your mistake you should probably apologize and fix it, make sense.

Deep fried shrimp was so over cooked .Called to let them know .Was hoping for a new batch . Guess you get what they dish out .. . Should of when with the pizza.

Ordered food for delivery after an hour phoned asking how long it would be we were told 25 to 30 min more we decided to go to A and W instead. They called back said was on its way 5 minutes after we were just told 30min. Really disorganized we would have waited if it was only going to be that long. This is the second bad experience I have had ordering from bamboo. The first time I was told it was on its way drove 4 miles store cuz that's as far as they will go and waited 40 minutes came back call them said he hadn't left yet and that they would call me when it was ready I told him not to bother. No offer to make things right.

Ordered deep fried prawns, they were extremely overcooked and hard, and very greasy, the sweet and sour pork had no taste sweet no sour! I found the flavour of the food very bland, sure will try other Chinese food in the future!
