Rented a car online, got the confirmation, and they charged my credit card. But when I got to the dealership, they said that all their cars were booked when there were still cars in the lot, and I had the confirmation number set for proof. They clearly did not want to deal with my case and basically threw me away. Their customer service is not the best. Good luck renting a car from this dealership.

Booked a rental through Expedia, with the return being on a Sunday. The booking page said off-hours returns were fine and I was quoted for a single day rate. When arriving - after taking a taxi to their location - I was told that I would have to pay for two days because they do not accept returns on Sundays. Not only that, I was told I was "lucky" because normally I would be billed for THREE days because the following Monday was a holiday but that they would give me a break on that one. The clerk said that they have had lots of issues before with Expedia; if that is the case, why have they never reached out to Expedia (or Hertz corporate) to make sure that their customers aren't getting bad information which leaves them with a rental that is double the cost of what they were anticipating. My guess is because they have no motivation to because in the end, their location is the one benefiting. Will not rent from this location again.

I cannot thank HERTZ enough. After a wild turn of events I ended up stranded in North Bay trying to get Toronto. They hooked me up with a one way rental to the city super last minute and even stayed open a little later for me. Without them I’m not sure what I would have done. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind and the car rental worked out perfectly. Thank you!

I had a great experience renting from here last week. Jen was super helpful and accommodated my specific needs. I was taking the bus in to town and she coordinated to have the shuttle be there to pick me up when I arrived at the bus station. Would highly recommend this location, service could not have been better.

Rented a car for a day. Cammy at the Hertz office was so very rude and stand-offish, almost like she wanted to attack us. Wanted to bill us for 2 day even though we had already paid for 1 full day and also wouldn’t rake the car back after a day rental and need to be 2 days. Then tried to blame the booking site and said she is a small business. Also the car we rented was not available

There is a reason for all the 1 stars. I booked via Priceline for a day for an SUV. When I got there, a very impolite lady made sure to make me feel unwelcome and said the car isn't available and the other car can be taken for 2 days only. So I better pay double or take it or leave it. She said this is a franchisse and CNA do whatever she wants, she made it very clear in a rude way. I called Hertz to report this and they told me they can cancel with no penalty. So imagine, this is borderline Fraud: confirm booking for an SUV for a day, then when customer comes, double the charge, for a worse car, and scream at them. And this during Vivid times when small business is struggling and we are trying to support. That lady needs a course in customer service, and then work on herself a bit.

My organization set up an account with this hertz location for me. I rent cars once a month for a week for work. So the account is set up, I use it, get cars with it, and everything is fine. I make another reservation, I go in, I ask for it to be charged to the account as per usual, and the lady who I have never dealt with before, cuts me off and says they are independently owned and not a corporate location therefore my organization can’t have an account there. I try to tell her I know, but my organization has an account, while she argues with me that this can’t be. I tell her that another woman made the account and she has always been the one who has served me and it has never been an issue before. I honestly stood there in shock as she said “well how unfortunate that she isn’t here.” I could not believe the way I was being spoken to, as I was polite & confused the entire time, & especially as someone who had chosen this location to give business to every month for a week... turns out, she found the account. It was real, and I guess someone had made a mistake or something. Realized I wasn’t a dumb customer just making something up, that my organization had indeed set up an account, and someone on the hertz end made a mistake. I will be looking into other locations to give them my monthly business.
