Peter was a true professional and, honestly, I can't believe that this high level of customer service exists anymore. He responded to our call right away and was at our home within a couple of hours. He actually has a true passion for what he does and is focused on fixing the root of the problem, if you let him. We had carptener ants. After his initial spray, the problem has definitely calmed down and being pregnant, I can once again eat in my kitchen without fear I will discover a colony. He was the only exterminator that suggested waiting until spring for an outdoor spray when it would be most effective. So he will be back. He also takes calls at all hours. Cant thank Peter enough, I've had a rodent issue for more than 18 months, I thought I have done everything possible to eliminate it, but mice were still getting in. What I liked about Peter's approach is that he looked to solve the problem insted of a band aid solution such as traps and poisin. He gave me great tips to resolve the issue after a thorough inspection and offered to come back and review if needed. It's been more than 6 months and we haven't seen a rodent since, fingers crossed :)

I have been dealing with mice finding their way into my garage through gaps in my seals, and rubber which seemed to be fine in the eyes of two other professionals who had been called in before I found Peter. When I spoke to Peter before he came over, he had mentioned some things to look for that were never expressed to me previously by others. Sure enough on the day of my appointment, the things Peter had mentioned as possible entry points for the mice were exactly that. With Peter's expertise, we now have a plan in place to close off the entry points the mice are using to get inside. Peter was a pleasure to deal with, very personable, and genuinely wanted to see the problem find a solution that was permanent, and not a stopgap measure.

I called Power Pest Control last month due to a rat spotting in the upstairs kitchen. Peter responded to my somewhat panicked message promptly and came out to the house the next day. He put down several rat traps in the bedrooms and in the ceiling. Yesterday, I called him again as there was an unpleasant smell coming from one of the vents. Once again Peter responded promptly. He squeezed me in between clients, came out to the house, and removed a deceased rodent. Peter is very knowledgeable and courteous. Before Peter arrived I asked if he could be discreet and he assured me he would be. When he was at my door he didn't know what kind of pest problem I had even though I had told him beforehand. At my door he asked very loudly "So is it ants or cockroaches?" And I asked if he could speak quieter. He told me he didn't bring his equipment and he had to go get it. When he came back I heard a really loud bang and asked if everything was okay and he said it was. After he left I noticed there was a 4 inch dent/scrape in my laminent flooring which he never told me about. I realized it was from the bang I had heard earlier. I would not recomment Peter.

Peter came to my house to check for a possible rat infestation in the basement due to a hole in the drywall. He was thorough and careful and very clear. As the hole was not clearly due to rats, he recommended I wait a week and then go onto the next step of extermination if it was confirmed to be rats. This was a sensible way to proceed and it turned out I didn't have rats after all. I would recommend Peter.

Power Pest control is amazing in service. We sent a message to Power Pest control and within an hour, Peter contacted me. I was shocked since it was a weekend and an evening. I explained we had carpenter ants and could he give us a quote! He said he needed to look at the problem to see what he could do, we set up an appointment and he arrived on time, checked over the situation and stated the cost. He began right away and located our problem and stated we would need to remove shingles from the roof, which he doesn’t do. He stated he would return once the shingles were removed, we just had to state when the job would be done. We asked how much for the follow up and Peter stated it was included in his service. He returned October 9 at 10am after the roofers removed the shingles and gave us a good report that the colony was gone and very little damage was found. Peter was helpful and honest throughout the whole process. We have been recommending him, continually telling people about his great service. Thank you Peter!

I also have cats and would have to have them out of the unit for many hours. He was great about giving me accurate times for coming so I could get them packed up to go in the car. Aargh! Wasps!! Or so I thought. A huge nest above my front door. I called Peter who fitted me in on the weekend. He identified them as Big, Bald faced hornets! Aargh! Having been attacked and stung multiple times when I was young, I was terrified. I agree with other reviewers. Peter is punctual, friendly, informative, straightforward, and has this amazing attitude that he's not just doing a "job", but really making a difference. He made sure that they didn't set up house again and then came back the next day and took down the nest which now looked like a ruined castle. His rates are reasonable and very competitive.
