Not impressed, was given wrong dates for my specialist referral. Also staff seemed to be celebrating each new appointment , like they were points, not clients. Took my business elsewhere, Also not notified of free glasses policy change, until after the appointment. Totally unprofessional! My perception of your business is based in REALITY!

Not happy with the service I received. Once I received my progressive glasses I noticed the distance vision was blurry. I asked if that was normal and they told me my eyes would adjust. I recently had my eyes checked and I was 20/40 vision with those glasses. Not good. I will not recommended Image to any of my friends.

My glasses were broken beyond repair. Without my glasses I really can’t see. The following day I went into Image and got an appointment for a same day eye exam (my prescription was expired), found glasses and had them ready to wear within a 2-3 hour period. I’m a broke university kid who was really worried about if I could afford new glasses, but the price for the exam and frames/lenses were amazing (there was a promo going on). Everyone was friendly and I’m super glad I chose to go there.

I dont Think i would Even try to go there. Must have very poor staff working there. I called About 4 or 5 times and not 1 person has answered the phone. Must have at least 3 people working and can’t be that busy there to not answer a call. Sorry. I will Not recommend image to anyone. I will however recommend going to visions, It is also in the cottonwood mall. Much better there. So just save yourself the hassle!

On December 8, 2011, I went to Image Optometry on Luckakuck Way for an eye exam and to purchase new glasses. The optometrist was thorough and friendly and I felt confident with the service that was provided. Then I was faced with making a selection of new frames and lenses. Michelle assisted me with my choice and recommended their poli carbonate lenses saying that she had the best success with these lenses for people wearing progressive lenses. During our conversation, she intimated that although she wasn’t given the title of assistance manager, she had been advised that she was considered “as good as”. I was promised a delivery date of approximately one week. Although the glasses were more expensive then I had paid in the past, I felt I was getting value for the money spent. Unfortunately, when my lenses arrived a week later, they were “eaten” during the cutting process in their lab. When I was called and advised of this, I did take the news good naturedly since accidents do happen. I waited another week for the replacement lenses to arrive and received a call late in the day, a week later to tell me that the lenses were in again. I made arrangements to pick up my new glasses that following morning. Just as I was on my way out the door to pick them up, I received another call; this time from the gentleman cutting my lenses, to advise me that the machine had “eaten” my lenses again. I made it clear that after a two week wait and having my lenses eaten twice, that I was not very happy. After an apology, I was guaranteed that my new lenses would arrive yet again, the following week, in time for me to have my new glasses for Christmas. True to their word, my lenses arrived the Thursday before Christmas. I went immediately to the store, thinking there was no way that this could happen three times in a row. When I walked in, I quickly found out my trip was for nothing. My lenses had been “eaten” a third time. Now I was understandably upset. I was again promised that a rush would be placed on the replacement lenses and that they would be in the week between Christmas and New Year’s. Even I thought, this would not be likely because of the Christmas breaks most companies took during that time but they insisted that the lenses would arrive. I went home and after thinking on this sequence of events for a time, I only became more frustrated and upset. I called Michelle to express my disappointment in the service I was receiving and to tell her that if the fourth attempt at cutting my lenses did not work out, that I would ask for a refund. This was when she informed me that she was not an assistance manager and “only” an employee. She also advised me that there was a no refunds, no exchanges policy in place and that I would not be getting my money back even if this did not work out for me. Needless to say this firstly made me even more frustrated and upset, but also made me feel powerless. I did not receive a phone call between Christmas and New Years and fully expected that even if my lenses arrived, that I would still not get the glasses I had paid over $400 for. Another week passed and I finally called them again. I was told that my lenses were not in and told that with the breaks companies take during Christmas week, it is not surprising my lenses were not in yet. (Now where did I hear that before?) Two days later (January 4) I got the call to say that my lenses were in and had been cut by the lense provider so were perfect and ready for me to pick up. Needless to say, the service I received was not only lacking but a huge disappointment. I could have gotten better even at Walmart. Although I will return for eye exams, you can be guaranteed that I will never purchase glasses there again.

First off I have to make clear that the staff here are very nice and helpful. I am giving this place a 2 star review based on the manager, I believe her name is Kaylee. Dark haired middle aged lady, and also very rude. So basically, I ordered prescription sunglasses, they came in late and with a missing screw. I mentioned this and waited for the manger to come back. When I asked her if they were inspected before she said "of course, they are always inspected twice, by us and the facility" and then rudely asked me to hand them over with a nasty tone. I was confused how they didn't notice a screw was missing then. I asked what she can do about this and said we don't have the screw here and you'll have to wait for them to be sent back. I was curious if there's other ways of finding this screw that was so illusive but she just acted like I was a bother in her busy schedule. I've never had anyone in customer service handle a mishaps like this so rudely and with no care lol she was just miserable. Maybe just let your other staff handle your company's mistakes instead of yourself next time, as you make everything feel worse for the customer.

If I could give them 0 I would considering the first impression I got from them was the fact that they completely messed up my husband's glasses (didn't apologize for it apparently it must have been my fault ) then the rude receptionist who thinks she knows everything but really doesn't, my husband and I will be switching from image optomtery no point in going back

The worst business experience I have ever had to endure. I was mortified and furious when I witnessed an example of pure unprofessionalism between my current vision provider and this business. In addition I was frustrated and then angry when I couldn't speak to a human being after many attempts to ring through. I am not going into gory details. So this place has now ripped me off because i was using benefits. The most recent is they charged me for popping my old lenses in to a frame that fit the lens. Problem is. They don't work for my face. Their are gaps in the lenses. Where they sit on my face causes light to come through my transitions. I am light sensitive. Their competitors said they would of made a whole new pair of glasses for basically the same price. They took advantage of me. Pressured me into these glasses making it seem as if no one would help me. They also won't give me a refund although policy states on custom glasses. Their is nothing custom of their work they provided if you can even refer to it as work. The first time they ripped us off was when our insurance paid for an eye exam. The deal was each person was to receive frames, lens, and 2 hockey tickets. They got paid in full for both exams except gave us 2 tickets only. Now its not a huge thing. They went against the promised promotion. I feel if we paid out of pocket it would not be this way. Shameful. If you have given them a positive review chances are they tried to charm you to defraud you as they did to me. Well one person charmed me. The other has a personality of dirt. Just a complete snot.

The receptionist would not tell my daughter what contacts she would need without a fitting yet the fitting schedule the had didn’t suit our time frame so we asked for it to take to another eye doctor but they won’t give it to us even though it was written done by the doctor so we wasted money and will have to go to another eye doctor????‍♀️???? Basically just a money grab to get you to buy the products they sell. A first and last visit for us. Hoping they will do the right thing and send us this information as I did phone and ask again for it. Will keep you updated people of chilliwack And also I’m a cashier at a busy grocery store so word of mouth will be happening about this as well. ????

Some of the best service I have ever received in the Fraser Valley, where so many people seem to think it is still 1950. Staff was courteous, helpful, and I was able to find glasses that were both fashionable and affordable. They offer frames starting at $60, but these are still well made. The atmosphere is pleasant, with comfy chairs and low lighting instead of the glaring "bathroom lighting" offered in most clinics. I had a bit of a special order, and they handled it with courtesy and patience.

We live in Agassiz now, and need our prescription infortmation. They will not tell you over the phone and will not email you your prescription. You have to go to the mall to get it. Complete waste of time, for a family of 5.

My disabled 82 year old mother spent $700 on glasses and she could not see out of them. They would not do anything to adjust or fix the problem. The have made her afraid. She is using her old glasses and cannot see. She on a limited pension. I find this is appalling they will not correct her glasses so she can see. They told her too bad and kept her money. Unprofessional and rude. It worries the whole family that she can't, as she is prone to falls.

The office is confusing and not good at keeping organization IMO. I booked an appointment for the New Year, they called to change it as there was no doctor in the office and at that point I said my daughter was unable to attend the new time they gave me, I am being told it is no-show - how when I said she could not attend the "new time" but they have no documentation of that part of the call. So even though I called and booked an appointment for my daughter I am informed that I missed three previous appointments; when I asked when they were they had no documentation to back up what they said and yet TWO years ago is the last time we were in their office and I normally book at the beginning of the year but we were away this year. Never have we in the past been told we missed any appointments or "warned" that we would be refused service, this is unprofessional and disorganized. so now my daughter with Type 1 diabetes who needs care is being refused an appointment because they say we missed something I say we did not nor is there any documentation or proof. They just lost an entire family and I will be sure to share this on Facebook.

I had the bad luck to have lost my glasses only months after buying them at Image Optometry, it was my first experience with them and it had been a good process. So I went back, hat in hand as I needed to replace my lost glasses... they were very helpful and gave me a good deal on my new glasses. Dr Virdi was honestly very rude and impatient. She was curt and seemed annoyed, she laughed at my daughter when she didn't answer a question properly, and didn't even say good bye or anything. The receptionists/office staff were great, but with all the competing eye doctors around, save yourself a really uncomfortable situation and go to one of them.

I've been going here for a few years now. Service is always good! I totally forget the young lady that helped me but she was awesome! Made sure I knew about all the promotions and such, she gave me her honest opinion in all the glasses I tried on and I think we found a few pairs that fit me really well! She was also super fast, 2 out of the 3 pairs I had gotten were ready the next day, 3rd pair were sunglasses so they had to be sent out but they came exactly when she said they would. I wanted to show my appreciation so I custom made her a set of press on nails I hope they fit and I hope she likes them! Thank you ????

Cottonwood Mall Location went in Sept 27, 2018 weeks went by.... they did not call when glasses were ready said they were too busy.....also charged more money for the extra free pair of glasses after I had purchased 2 pairs......dishonest.....said my eyes were very bad so I need to pay more for the 3rd supposedly free pair.....I will be going to Costco next time more honest and stand by their guarantees..... check their website 5 stars comes up...not sure why?

bait and switch- Took order to fill prescription- demanded and received prepayment. Came back with notice unable to fill order- but could fill it for additional 200+$. When I declined to pay more they refused to refund the original payment. I have gone to another optometrist who says original prescription was in error and would not have suited if order had been filled.

I will never go back to this location. The eye dr who did my exam was fantastic. (He’s based mostly out of willowbrook Langley location) The girls I dealt with there were rude, unhelpful and things are definitely run differently there then at Willowbrook. I will be returning to Langley now despite the hour drive. One call and they helped me out right away!

If I could give them 0 stars, I would have.. Anyone with overly sensitive eyes or a very high prescription, STAY AWAY. I have been to many other Optometrists who are passionate about what they do and who are aware of how difficult it is for someone with such a high prescription to see without contact lenses or glasses on. The woman who attempted to do the first eye test got very frustrated as my eyes got very watery and I couldn't keep them open long enough. Also that my eyelash extensions were too long and got in the way of her getting the scan apparently.. She ignored me when I asked for a Kleenex for my watering eyes. This has happened my entire life. I have blue eyes that water right away in light or in bright sunlight. This is not unusual and not unhealthy. I get that it is frustrating, however am I seriously the only person they have dealt with that has sensitive eyes like this?! Then after this initial scan which did not work, I saw the eye doctor who said my eyes are very inflamed and red.. Well no kidding, I've just had to attempt to hold my eyes open for the past 5 minutes while they were watering to do the first test. He couldnt do the eye exam (or didnt want to do it, until my eyes went back to normal). They were white, clear and normal before I walked into the office.. Wow. They even charged my medical benefits for the eye exam that they never ended up doing. I had to ask them to refund it, so that it can be charged at a later time.. My boyfriend had an exam directly after me and they actually had the audacity to ask him if his CONSULTANT was coming back to pick out his glasses for him?!? (as I had walked out into the mall). Everything about this place was awful. I have never been treated this way before by ANY eye clinic. Do not go here!!! Go anywhere but here!

I don’t recommend for the simple fact that they don’t call you to cancel if the dr doesn’t show up! I live in Harrison and drove there for my apt and arrived for them to say o sorry ya the dr hasn’t been here all day we have to reschedule! I cancelled and went to a different eye dr!

Bought glasses in Jan28 2016 the frames were Ferragamo sale price of $170. In March of 2017 the right arm fell off took it back to Image optical they said it was out of warranty,would have to buy another frame as my lens were cut for them as they couldn't fix them and not wanting to buy new lens I bought another set of frames like the ones that fell apart, at another $170.now that frame was purchased in late March 2017 ,well April 12 the left side arm fell apart ,a couple weeks after warranty,so now told can't be fixed you've tightened them too many time ,funny thing is I told her they have never been retighten,well then it must be because you take your glasses off with one hand! Really how many people use 2 hands? And over a period of one year did I go from left handed to right handed ??very poor customer service will never recommend anyone to purchase from them once they have you're money they don't want to help you at all

Quite pleased by the service received when I went in for my glasses the other day. I went in today for my 6yr old. Above and beyond service. So impressed with how all the staff treated my son! Mama Llama approved <3 **I have yet to experience bringing back with issues for warranty** I’ve read some other reviews and .. ...if for some reason there is a line. Or a call isn’t answered. Have patience. Great service is worth the wait. (How do you think they get so busy. ;) ) I have waited far longer at many places only to receive disheartening service. I’m not sure just how impatient other raters are. This isn’t fast food. This is fitting glasses for you/your person.. and dealing with insurance coverage.

This is the worst optometry place I have ever went too. I had given them my old set of frames to have my new prescription installed. I had to sign a waiver stating that if the frames were damaged during the installation they would not be responsible. Okay that was fine my old frames were very expensive and the chances of them breaking would be very slim. Well wrong assumption two weeks later they informed me that they had broken the frames. However they would give me 50% off on a new frame. I went to the store talked to the manager who was very unhelpful and not very sympathetic. I indicated that it was not right to just right off my broken frames (even though I did sign my rights away with their waiver) and only give me 50% off a new pair. She indicated she was not prepared to argue with me! Boy great customer service unreal. I decided that a store who could care a less about building a long term relationship with its customer's was not going to get anymore of my hard earned pension. So I left everything and walked out of the store! Customer beware of this place all is fine until something goes wrong then their clientele takes a second seat. Very disappointed Just an observation on the reviews. It seems the manager makes an effort to respond to all positive reviews but ignores poor ones! And the odd poor review the manager does respond to the comments are not fitting of a store manager, But rather a childish teenager who could care a less about unsatisfied customers! Why is that? This place needs a big shakeup starting with the removal of this so called manager! Well this child did reply and as expected very arrogant in tone. You maybe the owner but it is a franchise and you are responsible to uphold the image which obviously you have no ability to comprehend. Your replys to customers is totally unacceptable women. I was prepared to move on but after your unbelievable reply I will carry this a step forward you will be hearing from people soon! Have a wonderfully day. I see the owner has removed some of her very disturbing remarks from her reply. Unfortunately for her the original was screen captured and forwarded to the powers to be. The manager Kiley (sp) is a nasty piece of work. She should not be allowed to work with the public. She is the sole reason that I will not be setting foot in Specsavers again, and will actively ward off everyone I know from shopping there. Indignant, smug arrogance has zero place in customer service. The fact that she has a job after some of the reviews that I have read (which from my experience, appear pretty accurate), clearly demonstrates how little you as an organization genuinely care about your clientele. It's a good thing IRIS is reasonably close to home!

The Dr was ok....but there is an overall sense that nobody in that office seems to like being asked questions. Their reaction....to be unfriendly. I was just there for an eye exam, including having my eyes dilated. Nobody said anything about the fact that once I go outside it would be like looking directly into a light. Nobody asked me if I would be driving, which yes, I did need to be driving. Nobody mentioned the free glasses with exam, but I did see this advertisement while at the store. I had no idea that I was required to purchase them the same day as my exam, until once home I called and enquired about it. The woman I spoke to was less than helpful as I explained being unwilling to shop for glasses given current eye state, and inability to return today. Seeing such low level of customer service caused me to end the call saying I guess I'll just write off this store and start over somewhere else. The woman happily said "ok". Whoever manages the customer service for this location should listen to our phone call. I'm wondering if they would have provided the same customer service, offering no solution to an unhappy customer. In a time of great competition, nobody needs to settle for giving their patronage to businesses that don't pride themselves on high customer service standards.

This place is GARBAGE! STAY AWAY! Read below to find out why. Got my eyes tested here, payed the 30$ for the try our contacts test. They had never heard of my current brand so they fitted me with their brand. I didn't like them so I went back in today to get my contact prescription so I could reorder the brand I have been using for past 2 years. This is when I was handed my glasses prescription and told that any optometrist would be able to give me my contact prescription from my glasses prescription. ** backstory this same place charged me 25$ 2 years ago for my contact lens prescription.. so the fact they couldn't provide this for me is just GARBAGE ** The front end worker wasn't helpful and just continued to repeat her answer. ( I can only hope that these are new rules under her boss that forced her to be rude and unhelpful. ) So please read all the one star reviews and stay away
