I was in agony for 10 days due to nerve pain through my sciatic. It was misdiagnosed as a bulged disk by a local physio clinic. I needed relief quickly, Matthew agreed to see me on short notice, despite the fact I couldn't pay him right away! Matthew did a consult, listened to my symptoms and first helped me perform some intense stretching. Then he went to work on my problem. After one treatment, I was 50% better. I had high expectations for my first appointment at OM from previous brief sessions but my experience surpassed them. Matthew has an uncanny intuitive sense of tissue issues and a profound concept of anatomy. He combines massage styles artistically with Swedish, acupressure, and ART, stretching and moving my limbs to access tight areas. The room was warm enough, lighting soft, music gentle. I really appreciated his kind and professional manner. I had a reactivated old hamstring injury that's been treated many times over the years. After Matthew’s massage, my pain was gone. Just gone. It wasn't always comfortable receiving the treatment – the knot was tender when it was worked. Now five days later, I am still pain free and completely amazed. I've had many many massages and Matthew is naturally talented with amazing hands. From someone who doesn’t say wow very much, well…Wow! Matthew is my new go-to massage therapist – I am so grateful to move with ease, and the sense of wellness is a joy! I'll be back for more. Only 20 minutes from Nepean and incredibly worth it.

Matthew is easily the best massage therapist I have ever been to. He has a warm, gentle, and caring presence and his massages are excellent. I have not received this quality with other massage therapists; I have often felt like other massage therapists either don't believe me or think I don't know what I'm talking about when I ask for a deep tissue massage (that was my perception, anyway). Matthew, on the other hand, doesn't make any assumptions, asks plenty of questions, and checks in often. I actually felt sore the day after my first massage (I see this as a good thing), which I had never experienced before. The vibe is relaxing; soft music, scented oils, and no excessive chit chat. 10/10 recommend!
