The parking lot can be a bit confusing (the entrance is on Olive, and the lot is small) but is really easy to get out of. The Brady Group Property Management has used Window Bars Locksmiths for years. We have found them to be responsive, professional, and competitively priced. Their staff are friendly and courteous, they surprised us a little while ago. We wanted to replace all the exterior handsets and dead bolts that were all keyed differently and were worn and weathered looking. These guys are awesome! They not only offered me excellent service, but I was in a hurry and they took notice and helped me. I was trying to fix my older model Honda Odyssey ignition key, it just wouldn't work reliably, kept getting stuck, key wouldn't come out etc. The Honda dealership wanted between $600 - $800 (depending on the type of solution I chose, a different second key being the cheaper option) to replace it. But a 14 yr old van with nearly 300,000 km on it even in as good condition as this one is, still doesn't justify spending that much!! I mean I expect this van to reliably last a couple more years, but no sane person drops that much money on a 14 yr old van and feels good about it! The dealer just wasn't interested in helping out with a reasonable solution. So I removed the ignition cylinder out of the vehicle (thanks Youtube!) and I took it to Window Bars. They were recommended to me by another helpful Oshawa business. I was not disappointed, Brian and Richard were kind and helpful and he was able to help me with my tricky task even on a very busy day. The super reasonable price made me smile, and when compared to the dealership price it was a fraction of what I might have paid if I hadn't learned of the better way. I'm totally pleased and very happy to have the van running again!! It's not perfect, but that's because I didn't get a new key made (hope to do that in the near future), but Brian's price discount reflected that and I am tickled pink! This van will serve us well for a few more years yet. Thank you for your excellent assistance, a very very good experience overall for me. You went the extra mile Brian, thank you so much!! Will be back in the future, won't look around, I'll just come straight to you the first time to save time.

Replacement Car Keys - use these guys! I lost 2 sets of car keys with the key fobs. The friendly staff only charged me half of what the dealership wanted to charge. 2 weeks later I found my original set in a snow bank. Went in to this store the other day and noticed a really friendly atmosphere, I usually comment on places I go so this is no fake ad post for the store, this is my experience. Anyway, I walked in after calling multiple stores in the area to see if they could combine a key fob with a new shell that has a switch blade key. Every single place I called said there is to much risk involved and they would not touch it as the Infiniti g35 car keys are really pricey and if damaged, they could not be liable. SO.. on my way back to my school I saw this store on the corner of simcoe, walked in an everyone seemed happy. I then approached the counter and a man came up and asked if he could help me, I said most likely no, but I’m here to try. He said “what’s going on, I said cant find anyone to help me get this switch key fixed and he said, don’t stress leave it with me for a day and my tech will have it done for you.” I was shocked, I said how much he said don’t worry, ill take care of it. The next day he called and said its ready, I was ecstatic. So a few days later when I was not jammed at work, came back and he said “hey, your ready to go and we went out to the car and he tested everything, I literally gave him a hug I was so happy. He didn’t even want money for his work, I gave him a 20 for beer and said your amazing. We need more guys like this, thank you so much made my week.

Open sesame.... Brian made quick work of a locked 20 year-old Thule cartop carrier that we lost the last key to. He identified the lock easily and cut a working key within 10 minutes (for a fraction of what I expected it to cost). Highly recommended!!

Absolutely recommend!!!! After another company came out, checked the lock we needed removed, agreed he could remove the lock, he hacked at our trailer lock for over 2 hrs, complained he used too many disc's and that it was hot out. He said he wanted a service fee and was leaving! Leaving us a hacked up lock and possible damage to our trailer! We told him to stay put while we called the office. While I was on the phone this man jumped in his mini van and peeled out of our drive way, off a main street and nearly causing an accident!! The "office" would not give us their office address and just continued to hang up on me. We were referred to Window bars Inc. They came out within the hour and removed the lock in about 10 mins! I had to get keys for my Lincoln Navigator cut that I bought from Amazon. Heard about the place from a family member so I thought it would be an easy task. Turns out it wasnt, aftermarket keys from Amazon and eBay arent the best to cut. However, Brian was very patient and professional and managed to make all 3 keys work by precisely filing them down to size. Best of all he did them for FREE! Amazing! My car was having problems with the starter. I took the starter out and brought it to window bars locksmiths and they got it fixed in hours! Amazing people and great service! Would definitely go back!
