I have never been treated so poorly in my life! I was in one day to make an inquiry and was absolutely ignored as he was just talking away on the phone. I must have stood there for 10 minutes when i finally just walked out. Would highly recommend Channers up the street, they are so welcoming there!

Be prepared to be played. Mark (the owner) is an expert greasy "salesman" and will have you out the door and paying for something you didn't want in under 5 minutes. Even if you go in with questions, he will get you out promptly without ever addressing your concerns. The shop is perpetually rushed and busy. We came looking for "custom suits" for our wedding. An option that is pushed heavily from the moment you walk in the door and then turns out to not be very "custom". We picked out our custom fabrics and left - only to be called the next day and informed that the fabrics we ordered were out of stock. We went back in and ordered new fabrics. This time asking questions about cuts and styles. Again we were out the door promptly and realized later that we had never discussed the buttons... on a custom suit... And so had to call to have that addressed. Mark rattles numbers off and applies discounts to a price that is never written down anywhere. Maybe you're getting a good deal? Who knows. So you walk out thinking you got a deal but feeling you somehow you got cheated. Our suits came in - different fabrics than what we had ordered even after the second time. Mark informed us that the fabrics we had "custom ordered" the second time were out of stock and so he decided to select something comparable. He takes your money the day you order as a full deposit so good luck getting that back. We ended up getting our accessories at Paul Puncher. Overall a way more professional experience and we knew what we were paying for.

Really unfoutunate experience with Mark Nunes getting 2 pairs of jeans from Naked and Famous tailored here with a slight taper - Firstly when I was greeted and asked what I wanted done I was describing what I wanted and was quickly dismissed "yeah yeah I understand" , to my knowledge a proessional knows best so have at it. After coming to pick it up my pants did not fit as expected. I went back to have them altered again and the same result. After further inspection I noticed that there was no extra material to reverese the tailoring even if I wanted to take it somewhere else. Unfourtunatly I cant wear pants that dont fit and I cant fix them - 400$ in pants down the drain. I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else.

Best spot in town for tailoring and men's fashion. My family and I have been going to Mark for years and our tailoring is always perfect and turned around in a timely fashion. I recently had 5 shirts taken in by Mark and I feel like I have a new wardrobe - without having to spend hundreds on new clothes. His selection of men's clothing is excellent for both business and casual! Couldn't recommend enough.

Out of the 3 upscale clothing stores I know in Waterloo, I find Mark Nunes my choice. Both Mark Nunes and Paul Puncher are great stores; well organized, professional service, and good targeted selection. For me, Channer's is just a mess, too much selection and the store is so disorganized with boxes everywhere. Back to Mark Nunes, I find this store has brands I prefer and are within my price point. The service here is excellent. Their tailoring services are great too. Quick and professional. I'm not sure if the price is high but the work is great. 5 stars.

I've been using Mark Nunes' tailoring services for over a decade. This man can work miracles with a needle and thread. He's made garments fit and look good when I would have not thought possible. The prices are more than you might pay in a place in a mall, but when you consider the quality of the work and the ability to accommodate your schedule, the value is exceptional. I also take all my dry cleaning to Mark's. I have also purchased a few suits, shirts, sweaters and a coat from the men's section of the store. I love the brands that Mark carries (Bugatti, Ted Baker and Michael Kors), which are near impossible to find elsewhere in the region. If you value quality and personalized service. Mark Nunes is the place to go.
