The ophthalmologist clinic on the other hand ... Called around 25x between February and May to get an appointment. They call me back to tell me that they will call me back .... I am not called back. Just had the most rude conversation with the receptionist at the neurology department. There was a miscommunication between myself, reception and my neurologist. The receptionist was very short with me and seemed exasperated from the start. She hung up on me while I was trying to inquire about my insurance. My neurologist however, is absolutely amazing and this review does not reflect her ans her amazing care.

After all of these reviews of terrible phone lines you’d think they would have changed something by now but no! Waiting forever on hold to just be hung up on, leaving messages that never get called back… if it truly is an urgent inquiry you have no way of telling them!! Yikes!

Never never answer the phone. Been waiting for my results for over 2 months now and I still haven’t received a call from them. Been trying to get in touch but no one ever picks up. I visited here during my pregnancy and my son has pediatrician on the same floor. We have good experience so far, staffs are friendly and helpful. We had a communication problem regarding medical card w/ Quebec gov, they helped us through.

Came and saw a urologist, said he'd fax papers for mri for my back, neck and set up a new rdv for more exams, and to also notify my family doctor which I gave him papers to know who and how to contact him, he never notified my family doctor and I haven't received any calls for mri in months, note he discovered my shoulder has damaged nerves and they don't know why so it's urgent.

The receptionists are rude, condescending, impolite, don’t listen AT ALL, and straight up do not want to help you. The only sweet, polite receptionist is Jenny, she is very understanding and wants to help. The nurses however are all wonderful. Prepare to wait 45mins + on the phone, and be disconnected.. Very frustrating! Plus, there is no voicemail.. Given pregnancy can be a stressful period, this is a horrible service !!! Prepare to wait for your Dr for 1h without being acknowledged!

I am disgusted by this clinic. I am pregnant for the first time and no one even asked how I was feeling. You cannot reach "your" doctor. If you manage to get a callback they have it set up to go straight to your voicemail, minutes before they close. The medical staff may be fine but their practices are reprehensible. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. DISGUSTED.

I see Dr. Richard Roberts at neurology. He is a marvellous physician I have learned so much from the 2 years of seeing him and has helped me with my issue that I had since as long as I can remember. He doesn’t rush you out of the room and takes as much time as you need. Health care providers like that are very very rare to find in this province. The receptionists are very thorough at what they do will have no problem finding an appointment for you even on the last minute.

Regularly have to wait 25+mins in order to speak to receptionist. Receptionist not always curteous. No way to leave a msg. Doctor was condescending. On second appt. Was changed to 3 different rooms while waiting for doctor. No reason given. Feels like they need to pump out the clients. Only reason I am there is that it is in a convenient location. Not impressive at all. Think twice before coming here for obstetrical issues. There seems to be good reason as to why review ratings are so low.

I hope I can change my review on this site, but so far I have called twice to get un appointment and after waiting on the phone over 15 minutes WITHOUT an answer I hanged up. I would assume that if they are so slow to reply they won't be the best around.

You can't reach reception or your doctor even if you are in the hospital literally having your baby and even it's an emergency. (I'd say they need more receptionists but I know they have at least three working there at a time but that doesn't seem to make a difference.) They need online booking or a voicemail system that works ASAP. And they need a separate line if you are already a patient and need to get in touch with your doctor. Stay away.

This should have being a zero zero star. Firstly, they act as if they are doing you a favor and you are getting the treatment for free. The wait time on the phone is 45mins and more then they put you on hold. The receptionist are so rude. They cancelled my appointment and did not even notify me saying they doctor is not available. There are over 10 doctors in that hospital. To get an appointment is war. You have to wait for more than 10 weeks..... Healthcare should be prompt. Our lives are on the balance here.

The phone system is absolutely ridiculous. I understand waiting 45 minutes, no problem! However, when it tells you you are next in line and then disconnects... this is an issue. No voicemail. I called at different times over a weeks period and have sent them a fax to contact me. This rating is solely based on the phone system. The nurses and the doctors at this clinic are fantastic! Very happy with service - when it is received.

Secretaries are useless!!! They take the call and put you on hold for an hour. They don’t listen. They are just incompetent! Call me and make an appointment for 8am and then I receive a confirmation email that my appointment is at 9am. Reception service is just awful!

I was on the phone waiting to set up an appointment for 45 mins!! The receptionist put me on hold twice. I only spoken to her for less than a minute and then she placed me on hold again. She never came back afterwards. What kind of service is this? I am very disappointed.

i have been going here for my obstercian appoitments , all the staff from the secretaries to the doctors are amazing. They make you part of their family and im so grateful to each and one of them. Yes they might be busy if you would like to reschedule your appoitment, but thats because they have a high demand of people calling. I suggest if you dont like to wait too long on the phone call when they open and you will wait less time. I would for sure recommend this clinic to anyone.

This place is TRASH, the service is really awful and especially those rude ladies who work at the front desk... If I could rate a 0, I totally would! My new Dermatologist is Dr. Munk, located close by on Sherbrooke and is the absolute BEST, would totally recommend!

Very frustrating that you can’t get through to make an appointment. If you leave a voicemail they don’t call back either and most of the time their voicemail is full. This clinic needs to get their act together. We’re dealing with people’s health here! It’s not acceptable.

this "private clinic" did not forward a test report to my doctor and WOULD NOT give me a copy if that report. I had to fill out a form and am still waiting for report. Can I give a zero star? I did not even realize that they were not part of the MUHC because of the deceptive title "@ the Glen"

There is a serious problem with the lines of communication at this clinic. You will have to call multiple times, only to hold for minutes at a time and be disconnected. Leaving a voicemail is not an option as it is unavailable/full. I find this extremely concerning. If there were to ever be an emergency with your pregnancy, you are left to deal with the situation on your own. This is a shame because their team of doctors is stellar and reputable. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the doctors. Dr. Krish, Dr. Mansour, Dr. Papillon-Smith, Dr. Siriki. They are all professional, knowledgeable and caring. I would not recommend this clinic for the sole reason that getting a hold of reception is impossible.

Before booking an appointment, I read some of the reviews on here saying that the receptionists were incredibly rude. Personally, I found they were hard to reach but very nice and helpful. Once I parked and actually got there, I saw Dr. Krish’s resident and he was very knowledgeable. This seems like a great little setup, at least to me.

This rating is for the reception only. One of the worst customer service i ever experienced. They put me on hold three time i as was speaking, tried to reached them a few times during the year without being able to speak to anyone. No follow-ups for appointment, rude and rushed on the phone.

The doctor and nurses are really good. I have a complaint about the phone system and the rude receptionist. I dont know her name else would have preferred to mention her name. Had no patience to understand that multiple times I called them back to book an appointment and got disconnected in the mid. Felt mistreated. If its language issue have the patience atleast to understand what the patient is trying to convey. Really bad treatment. Receptionists need to work on their soft skills and I see from the other comments its not the first time. Also the phone appointment system should be improved.

The staff here are working incredibly hard. The medical admin in neurology are always happy to help and friendly. The phone wait can be delayed sometimes, but that's expected with the amount of doctors working there.

If I could put a 0 I would. Waited 45 minutes on the phone to ask why I haven't received an appointment yet when my other doctor sent a fax 2 weeks ago and it was confirmed right in front of me. All she (Sarah the receptionist) could say is " maybe it got lost, you should go back to hospital and do it again". Also been here before, they just want to swipe your Medicare and get you out ASAP. Don't bother.
